I've worked with Pacific Finance Group over several refinances, from 2011 - 2013. These have sometimes been unusual properties with complex appraisals, and the past few years drop in real estate prices and increase in regulatory paperwork has made refinancing much more complicated. Through all that, PFG has been able to find some of the lowest rates out there, and keeps the process streamlined. Even in the internet age, a mortgage broker is a big help (and a big savings). I've also checked with my bank (BoA) and other sources every time, and they can never meet the rates. The paperwork is daunting, and PFG is acting as a middleman between one or more other lenders, so communication can often lag. But I found that PFG reps would reply on the same day whenever I had questions, and any delays were usually in downstream lenders. Sometimes this was opaque but PFG often had timelines for me. My 2011 refinancing was so hairy (due to market/industry circumstances) that I sent the PFG reps flowers once everything closed! The most recent (2013) was much smoother, but I still appreciate all the work they do to get mortgages closed. I will use PFG again and recommend them to others. read more

We got into a contract to purchase a duplex last September and per my husband experience with Pacific Finance group, he recommended that we contact them and particularly Tiffany Piceno who had helped him last year to refinance our other property. At the on set, my husband was going to obtain a loan under his own name alone, but later it became necessary for me to be on the application as well. We were concerned that may not be able to close the loan on time, but Tiffany made it so easy and did more than anyone else would have done to make this happen. When seller procrastinated in letting the appraiser get inside the property, the lock expired and once again Tiffany told us that she was going to make sure that we would not pay for another rate lock. Sure enough we were able to get the loan at no additional cost and at the same rate and closed the transaction. I had a great experience working with Matthew Rhea and Tiffany Piceno for my home loan. Halfway through my loan process I switched services to Pacific Finance group after a bad experience with Pinnacle. Due to the switch in companies, Matthew and Tiffany were on a time crunch because we only had 2 weeks before our closing date to get our loan processed! They were fast and proficient and were able to get us approved to close ON TIME!! They were great to work with! Both were very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. Highly recommended. I worked with Patrick Rogers and his right-hand woman Teresa Huynh. Patrick is so knowledgable, easy to talk with and generous with his time in explaining the world of finance to me. Low key, soft sell. Teresa was fast and efficient, and if you have your ducks in a row, she will push it through quickly. Toward the end, I freaked out because the lender would not process the loan until house repairs on my house were completed [from a tree branch that fell on my house]. I was working with my insurance company, which really slowed things down, plus I had to contract with 3 different people to complete the work. Carlton Sellars and his team provided OUTSTANDING customer service and made getting a mortgage loan as easy as it can possibly get. I began researching companies a long time ago and doing my due diligence in finding the best interest rate, etc, and I found his quoted rate the best in town (and out of town!). Once quoted, there were no changes by the lending company or any added contingencies or surprises once we were ready to sign. In addition, I live overseas on a military base and his communication and planning were excellent. In fact, I think dealing with Pacific Finance Group and getting a loan was far more easier than dealing with my own bank to get out the closing costs! Overall great experience. We went thru Pacific for a Refi and they had the best rates and lowest closing cost. Carlton and Chasity were both very friendly and prompt with the service. Only complaint is the appraisal was going on 2 weeks before we had a dollar amount to work with, but I understand that was an issue with appraisal company and not Pacific. We incurred a late fee from our previous bank due to the timing of our closing and when our July payment was due, however Pacific even cut me a check for the amount of late fee. Nice extra touch. Compared to the time spent and effort on our initial home mortgage, this time around was much smoother and seemed less tedious. Total time was I believe 3 weeks from application to closing, which would have been quicker, except for the slow turnaround time on the appraisal. I would highly recommend. read more

Paul and Tiffany are a great team and they took one complication after another that I created for them and fixed it with zero complication in the end to me and got me EVERYTHING I wanted!! I cannot say enough good about them and with five sons buying homes I will push my boys and anyone else I know to them. When I shop for the mortgage rate for our first house purchase in Spokane WA, he provides me valuable information with regard to home loan and its costs. Carlton is highly effective and efficient in providing me the quotes and addressing my questions . As I hold a work visa and work in U.S., mortgage loan application seems to be complicated. Due to this reason, I chose to work with a local bank instead of Pacific Finance Group. Later on, I learned from Carlton that this was not an issue. Pacific Finance Group got me a mortgage refinance deal in January/2013 that I found to be sort of a 'dream come true' for my family: 2.75% rate (~ 2.77 APR), 15 years, fixed.
