Ying did a great job helping us understand and navigate the cash offer program. As soon as we provided preapproval documents and statements, she was able to turn around with preapproval numbers within hours. This was also the case when we requested to add another preapproval for investment property (so that we could keep our options open). This helped to make sure nothing stood in the way of us being able to make competitive offers before any offer deadlines. We're scheduled to close on the short term loan in about 5 days, but all our financing details are already in order days ahead of schedule. She's knowledgeable, responsive, and was always willing to help. Was a great experience working with Ying and Flyhomes Mortgage. read more

Update from the review below: The VP of customer service reached out and Flyhomes is making it right. They are helping me refinance and I am happy with the terms. ---------------------------------------- I bought a home and got a mortgage through Flyhomes in August 2023. I also signed up to use their buy now, refi later on us program (see attached advertisement). Per the conditions of the program, I had to wait six months after closing to use it. I was assured by my Flyhomes mortgage officer that even if the program ended that it was in my file and that I would still be able to access it. Having access to this program is part of why I made the leap in buying a home with Flyhomes. It has now been more than six months and I have contacted (emailed and called) Flyhomes Mortgage eight times over the last five months about utilizing this program and they haven't responded to me. The one exception being I was able to get a live appointment with a mortgage broker. I explained my situation and he told me to email the mortgage president and explain my situation to receive the services. I did just that and still haven't heard anything back. I am so frustrated with this poor customer service. I would not recommend their services. read more

Our lender is using Fly Homes for our bridge loan. Super quick to get the funds to purchase; however, now while we're trying to close we cannot reach a single person at Fly Homes. They won't return anyone's calls-- not u, not the title company. There aren't even any actual contacts on their website. Do not use them. We're paying for it now. read more

Working with Flyhomes Mortgage has been a true pleasure. We refinanced our house following a remodel and got a great rate and an excellent customer service experience. We worked with JP, who was friendly and prompt in all his communications. It was a truly night and day experience from the company we worked with for our renovation loan. The paperwork was easy to submit, the process was quick and clear, everything felt very open and honest with all our questions answered. I found Flyhomes on Yelp and I'm so glad we went with them! read more

Flyhomes Mortgage - Our beautifully remodeled and refinanced home! - Mortgage Brokers Near Me - Issaquah, Washington

Fearful, confused, anxious, and concern was what I felt about buying a home. Selling our home was just as difficult.  Flyhomes was the answer! We chose to use their "buy before you sell" program. All involved were professional, friendly, patient, and well informed. The program is a great way to deal with the stress about buying and selling a home almost simultaneously. It was worth it. Trying to navigate the real estate market (in Seattle) alone is, well frankly, terrifying.  All that fuss in staging your own home and seeing all those open houses at the same time is difficult.  Flyhomes and their program we used worked as they say it would. Jack K. was our man on the front lines, working hard for us. Putting together offers and all that follow up involved, I couldn't do it. I don't know how he does it. I appreciate all the effort and patience working with me. Thank you Jack. Our Mortgage Loan person was Kathy S.. She was very patient with me and all my questions. I felt that Kathy went above and beyond because she had to deal with me.  She was also kind enough to answer an email question (out of many) I had on a holiday. Thank you Kathy. Also, my appreciation and gratitude to my wife. She did most, if not all of the work. I was the worrier in the equation. I highly recommend Flyhomes. read more

We had a phenomenal experience with Flyhomes Mortgage. We worked with Austin, who was exceptional across the board. He was responsive, helpful, and very knowledgeable. It was clear that he was on top of everything and earned our trust quickly. Happy to say that he never let us down. Which means a lot because a mortgage process tends to be complex and messy. But Austin made it a super smooth process to get our short-term mortgage ...which enabled us to purchase our home in a super competitive market. Not sure if everyone at Flyhomes Mortgage is like Austin, but if we work with Flyhomes again, we will absolutely request to work with him. Thank you to Austin and the Flyhomes Mortgage team!! read more

Ying Cai was the loan officer who helped me close my cash loan. FlyHomes is a totally new approach to home ownership, and Ying was patient to explain how the process works. She was available to reach via all modes of communication. She acted professionally all throughout our several interactions. I'm still in the process of refinancing, and Ying continues to assist me in closing the best deal for me. read more

We were amazed we got our dream home with Flyhomes with our realtor, Caelyn Carew, who was patient and helpful with our questions. Debra Malone was SO helpful and knowledgeable in making sure we knew what we were getting into in our first home, and Kathy Szymanski, our loan officer, for holding our hand throughout our first loan and refinance. Without them we would've been lost! read more

Will tell you what you want to hear in order to get you to submit an application, but will then take back the info they told you with no explanation. Waste of time. You're better off going with a traditional mortgage company that will at least be upfront with you. read more

I recently used FlyHomes cash offer to purchase a home. Now I am in the process of refinancing the short-term loan with FlyHomes long-term loan. The process and experience is very poor. My assigned loan officer doesn't seem to be up for the task. - Asked me for the same documents repeatedly - Never picked up my call - Responded email very slowly - Many typos in email - Explained rate wrong in email - didn't waive the 1% fee for the refi (I caught it) I only knew the loan is secured 1 day before closing even though I am pre-underwritten with FlyHomes. On FlyHomes website, it says "Flyhomes Mortgage offers a 30-day closing guarantee, one-time underwriting, and guaranteed funds.". I have 2 more days to see if it is legit. Bottom line: Cash offer did help me to get my offer accepted, but FlyHomesFlyHomes needs to have better mortgage loan officer training / or simply hire more professional people. read more

Working with Flyhomes Mortgage was a delightful experience! I worked with JP & Ami and they were both knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. They made no mistakes and thoroughly went over everything with me during the home buying process. This was my first time buying a home and they took away the anxiety and fear of making such a large purchase. They also gave me a jaw-dropping low interest rate WAYY less than the national average and smoked the competition. I'm ecstatic with my new home and low mortgage payment, thanks Flyhomes! read more

Flyhomes was so staggeringly pleasant to work with, and their rates so good, that I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop - for there to be some kind of catch. It never came. They're actually that good. They handle everything in house: the loan, the touring, the offer negotiation, etc. And the rates for everything were meaningfully better than anything I received from any other lender. They were both the cheapest and the easiest. Manisha worked with me directly - over text message, like a normal person, which I really appreciated after all the slow, cryptic bank BS I got from most other places. She gave me feedback on what was reasonable given the market, and helped construct an offer that won by a hair without setting off a clause that would have had me paying more. Rae was extremely helpful answering financing questions and helping coordinate the mortgage process. I've since referred some people who also got refis through Flyhomes and had the same experience... they make everyone else in the housing game look greedy and obsolete. The flyhomes browse/tour system is okay but not amazing - the other company in that space (the red one) is still the king there. I toured with RF and then went back to FlyHomes when I was ready to make an offer. RF will stop touring you if you tell them you're doing this, but there's no reason for it to come up. I'm seriously grateful to everyone at Flyhomes for making my first home a possibility - I love it dearly and genuinely couldn't have done it without them. read more

Great team to work with! They made a real effort to ensure we go the best options. Our closing costs were alot less than what we expected, and the rate we locked in was great. Recently I closed on my first investment rental property loan and was very happy with the overall process and interest rate! Adrienne Brimhall was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and experienced with the entire process. We closed on our loan in three weeks and were able to win the competitive bidding war with the help of Flyhomes and Adrienne. - Adrienne helped with a quick turnaround on getting a Pre-approval letter for our first-in-the-door offer - Adrienne helped us with aggressive terms for our second offer such as closing in 3 weeks - Adrienne spoke to the listing agent to confirm I was serious and ready to go All in all, very impressed and happy with the experience. I was so surprised by the low interest rate I had to ask multiple ties and see the details before believing her! Thank you, Adrienne - looking forward to working with you in the future! Libby is our loan officer and she's amazing. She's everything that you want in a complicated process that drowns you in paperwork and legal jargon that is harrowingly insufferable. She's so great and their products are amazing. It's an added bonus that they are helpful so I wanted to write a review before we've even closed on a house because we have faith in Libby + Sassan (Client Advisor) + Flyhomes :) They are truly awesome! read more

Bought a condo in Seattle with Flyhomes last month. It was a great experience from the first visit to the final signature. I love how flyhome is structured in teams specialized in each steps of the process making the entire end to end experience very smooth. I am a first time buyer so I have nothing to compare with but it really feel like everyone I worked with was really doing their best to help me finding my new home. I want to call out few names I really appreciate to work with, Andy, Libby, Bella but also the booking team, the agents making the visits possible even with 2 hours notice, everyone working in the background I didn't interact with personally but I know none of the magic would have happen without them. Highly recommend to use flyhomes to find your new dream home. Cheers!! read more

Ami is my loan officer. She is super responsive, act fast and always respect customers. Highly recommended. Even if you do not choose Flyhome as your broker, you should definitely thinking about using FlyhomeMortgages, because: - their rate is good(I might be wrong, but I think lots of startup needs to sacrifice some profit for revenue, FHM maybe one of them) - their service is good(always responds fast and polite) - plus super super speedy to catch up on your closing date. (Mine took around 20 days including Xmas and NewYear) read more

As part of the overall Flyhomes process, Flyhomes Mortgage (FHM) was a great partner. We used the Flyhomes 'buy before you sell' program and getting our approval through FHM was an integral piece of our success in finding our new home. Some of our processing was outside of their normal parameters and they adapted and assisted to get us across the finish line. Our loan representative, Kathryn Szymanski, was especially helpful in providing guidance and support through the purchase and had strong offerings if we wanted to finance with FHM after our sale. Kathy and the FH team were great to work with and highly recommended. read more

I just bought a home with FlyHomes, and ended up also using FlyHomes Mortgage for my financing. Before moving forward with them, I reached out to a few different lenders, and FlyHomes Mortgage offered the best rates. Aside from getting a really good rate, I had an amazing experience working with Ami (my loan officer). As a first time buyer I had a lot of questions and she was always extremely patient and super responsive when I needed assistance. Most lenders I talked to also asked for an extra fee for expedited closing, whereas with Flyhomes Mortgage I was able to close super quickly with no extra cost. I would definitely recommend Ami and her team! Great experience from our first call until closing. read more

Ami and the flyhomes team were instrumental in the purchase of our first home. Ami was extremely helpful and allowed us to close in time without any hick-ups. Used Flyhomes Mortgage on my first home purchase and even with a 0% down, VA loan I was able to close in just a month. Ami was super helpful and between her and the Flyhomes closing team what could have been an insufferable experience, super smooth instead. Ami fought for me when the VA returned my statement of service a couple times and even through the pre-approval process really took the time to understand my income sources and get me a loan that fits what I'm comfortable paying. As a first time homebuyer, it was a great experience. My buddies talk about all the troubles and stresses they had buying a house but luckily for me I felt pretty stress free the whole time working with Flyhomes. Definitely recommend! read more

We absolutely loved working with Adrienne at FlyHomes Mortgage! She went above and beyond to help us get our financing in order and find the best possible rates. I would highly recommend FlyHomes Mortgage, they helped us buy our dream home at a price we could afford. read more

I could not be happier with Rea and the team at Flyhomes Mortgage in Seattle. Every part of the process went smoothly for us. Rae did a great job of communicating with us at every step. She was always happy to answer all of my questions. As a first time home buyer I had a lot of questions. And even when our agent was out of town the rest of the team picked right up where she left off. We didn't have to re-explain anything. 5 Stars! If I could make one suggestion for a small IU improvement, it would be nice if the user could see a list of what documents have been uploaded to the web portal. read more

Having worked in the Real Estate industry, I know how important it is to find a good partner when buying a first home. We discovered FlyHomes as an alternative to the typical broker model and we couldn't be more happy with our experience. We came to the table having some ideas about what we wanted and the FlyHomes team was great at facilitating communication, home-viewings, closing and of course - lending! We worked with Libby Christoules from FlyHomes Mortgages and it was a seamless experience. She was very effective in communication, timeline management and education. Her speed and clarity helped us secure the most aggressive rates and overall best deal during the hectic month that was our home closing. I would recommend Libby and FlyHomes Mortgages to anyone looking to buy. read more

As a first time buyer I really had no clue of where to start, what questions to ask, terminology, process and even how to decide if a home was a good fit for me. Let's just say I was lost until I saw Flyhomes' ad on Facebook and decided to give them a try. After meeting the team I was impressed to not only buy through Flyhomes but finance through them as well. I worked with Laura(Advisor) , Libby(Mortgage Originator) and Hadassah(Closing Advisor) at Flyhomes to purchase my first home and really can't say enough good things about all of them. Laura and Libby were incredibly friendly and took time to sit down with me to determine what would be a good fit for me. They were very helpful in explaining the entire process and really helped relieve my stress. They are knowledgeable, approachable, personable, endlessly patient, and incredibly generous with their time (including mornings, evenings, and weekends). I was prepared for a long search, but unexpectedly came across my dream home after viewing just a few. Laura gave great advice as far as my offer went- she was very knowledgeable about what would make my offer stand out in an extremely challenging market. Laura and Libby worked together. They got the home pre-inspected, got me pre-underwritten, got me the best interest rate on my mortgage and got those details in order, put the offer together - all in less than 2 days. My offer was accepted a day after and few weeks later I had the keys :) Throughout the whole process I felt like they had my back. I'd also like to mention that with Flyhomes, home tours were never boring. I met 5 touring agents and they were all amazing. I enjoyed the conversations with them and loved how friendly they were. Overall, I loved working with Flyhomes and they really made my home buying experience stress and anxiety free. I hope that I'll be in this home for many years to come, but when it is time to move again, I'll definitely call Flyhomes! I couldn't recommend them enough for anyone looking for some peace of mind when buying a home! read more

Work with Flyhomes Mortgage. I was a first-time buyer with a lot of anxiety about house-buying - particularly in a crazy Seattle market. Sarah helped me throughout the whole process, answering every little question I had. I don't think I could have gotten through it without her. My loan went through when COVID first started hitting Seattle, rates were going crazy. I had 2 loans with Flyhomes and both worked smoothly. Megan is my loan manager and she is great to work with! Professional, quick response and very helpful. I used Flyhomes cash offer to win the bid so have a short term loan first. During that time I was shopping around for the refinance loan. Flyhomes was able to lower their initial estimation with a good closing cost. They also offered 30 day guarantee for the refinance which means they will cover the cost for lock rate and the daily interest generated from my short term loan if the refinance didn't get done within 30 days. It got delayed couple days and they did cover the extra cost. I am happy with my experience with Flyhomes. read more

I really enjoyed working with Flyhomes and with Daniel who handled my loans for me. I've bought homes before, but this experience was the best so far. Daniel was responsive to my questions and made the whole experience seamless and very easy. I got an amazing rate for my final loan. I also got a cash loan which made it possible for me to buy my home at a very competitive rate, which is incredible considering how hot the market is right now. Working with Flyhomes Mortgage was an amazing experience! I worked with Sarah Lopez on refinancing my home. I was looking for a best rate at March, which is a fickle period in market. However, Sarah was very patient and helpful. She posted me updates everyday to catch up with latest market value. It was great help for me to catch a good rate, which was the lowest loan rate among all quotes. Also their closing was pretty fast, around 20 days. Considering this was a fragile and sensitive period with COVID-19, it was an efficient closing process! All in all, I would recommend Flyhomes Mortgage for you guys. They are efficient, helpful and delightful. read more

We purchased our home in the fall and used FlyHomes! Ryan was amazing to work with! He's super efficient and really customer driven. We ran into a title issue and he went above and beyond to help us get it straightened out! We can't recommend him and FlyHomes enough! We've been telling all our friends and family about Ryan and team. I should say that previous years we've been trying to buy a home with another loan company and after 2 years of going back and forth with them we got no where. The other loan company kept insisting I use retirement funds. With Ryan, we expressed that we didn't want to do that and he didn't even bring it up! He was able to get us a loan with the best rate we've ever been offered and found the best program for us! Best part was, this whole process took roughly about a month! We got to FlyHomes Mortgage after losing five homes with a traditional realtor and lender. With FlyHomes, we got the first house we put an offer on, in part thanks to Ami and the thorough job she had already done in the underwriting process. Ami was by far the most responsive person we have worked with throughout the last few years of trying to buy a home. She is trustworthy, kind, and incredibly good at her job. She answered questions quickly and thoroughly and helped us to feel at ease about every step in the process. As others have said, the rate that we got was by far the best that we could find.
