That's ME handling a live scorpion!
    Liset B.

These people ROCK! They let you handle their bad-a** emperor scorpions!!!!! Woooohoooo!!! http://youtu.be/UhsnLhdgv0c ~ My son handling a live scorpion w/ his bare hands. http://youtu.be/ETMUYt2neyU ~ another video of my son handling a scorpion http://youtu.be/GgSfdAxxgMg ~ my son handling their worms Pacific Animal Productions visited my son's school in Moreno Valley last October 2011 (animal show for PTA event) and they brought some of their cool animals along (snakes, iguanas, wallaby, alligator, fox, turtles, a bucket of scorpions, and another bucket full of cute little worms, etc.) ~ the most interesting ones being the LIVE SCORPIONS... it was just in time for Halloween!!!!!! I never thought that I would EVEEEEEER hold a freakin' live SCORPION with my bare hands, not to mention a few... like, what?? And they are the super duper HUGE black ones that look even scarier, but when one of the guys there offered me to hold one, I gladly took the dare. These creepy crawlers are actually cool. After that, my son wanted to hold them too... and then we took videos and pics just to share what an amazing experience that was. Did my parents think I was absolutely INSANE for touching those things? The heck they did... but that just gave me one more thing to talk about. Oh, yes, and check out the video of my son handling the worms too =P I LOOOOOOVE Pacific Animal Productions. It was educational and so much fun =)

They came to Orange County for the Imaginology Event 2016 (youth expo). What a wonderful presentation!!! Very educational and the kids really enjoyed it! They brought white hedgehog, barn owl, tarantula, & my favorite one was the ADORABLE SLOTH!!! MY BOYS HAD ENJOYED THE SHOW! & so did the parents!!! ;)

Jessica and her wonderful animals presented at my daughter's fourth birthday party. Everyone, adults and kids, had so much fun! Jessica was so kind and knowledgeable. The animals all looked happy and healthy and were sociable. It was super easy to work with Pacific Animal Productions- they called when they said they would, they were on time, they were very clear about what they needed for set up. Overall incredibly professional! Their prices aren't bad and are even less than other visiting animal companies I looked at. I'll book them again for future events, it was so worth it!

We just had a party for my 4 yr old with Pacific Animal Productions and without a doubt it was the best birthday party we've ever had. The trainer, Will, was so so so knowledgeable and entertaining- all of the kids were on the edge of their seats and the adults too! Pretty much every adult at our party was like "he's amazing! Where did you find him??" We were so so so happy with this company, and our birthday boy had the time of his life. Thank you so much!!!

Pacific Animal Productions--- these people are amazing! We wanted to have animals for a 2 yr. old Birthday party. I searched online to see what was available and I'm so glad I found out about them. They brought out 5 animals to the party and the kids loved it. The trainer Jennifer was so wonderful with the children and everyone at this company is very helpful with coordinating the event (Toby, Chantal). It is such a great idea for a fun and unique party!

Pacific Animal Productions made my daughter's birthday something she'll never forget. My seven year old loves animals, and this was right up her alley. Our zoologist Jessica was knowledgeable and friendly. She kept the party moving and made sure all questions were answered while keeping my daughter the priority. The rest of the staff were also really easy to work with. They were quick to return phone calls and answer all my questions.

I knew I wanted to do an animal show birthday party when I was pregnant with my daughter. Fast forward 4 years later and I was ready to make it happen. You never know what you are getting when you just pick a company from online, but I was completely satisfied with PAP(Pacific Animal Productions)! They have an amazing array of animals to choose from, with different packages. We went with the Ultimate Zooprize party, which is 7 animals and a picture with each kid. Everyone had an AMAZING time!!!

There's a barn owl on my head.

We are so pleased at the service we received from PCA. It was my daughter's 8th birthday party. Will, the trainer was amazing with the kids and the birthday girl felt super special. The animals were amazing and all were captivated-even the adults were glued to the presentation. Hands down, the best birthday ever!! Thank you PCA for helping my little girl have an amazing birthday experience. Do not hesitate to have them at your party-It will be the best party you've ever thrown for your kids.

Had an incredible experience with Pacific Animal productions today at a kids birthday party. The children were enthralled, learned so much and the expert was so fun, engaging and knowledgeable. From the desert tortious to the snow glider and wallaby we all saw these beautiful animals up close and personal and learned new things. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to have a unique experience at a party or an educational lesson for a group. It was organized, exciting and truly a great experience.

Animals come in wrapped boxes and children have to guess what animals inside when given clues

Pretty steep but it's a short walk. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Book your visit online! There are group rates and additional attendee rates, so just make sure you have the right count of people! Staff was very friendly from start to finish, and I loved seeing the enthusiasm shine through their work. It's not a huge site, so not a ton of walking involved, but there are some steps if you're worried about accessibility. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes! - EXPERIENCE - We booked a Wallaby encounter, and initially I thought it was only going to be a single animal experience but I was pleasantly surprised we were taken on a tour around the area! We did get to feed and pet the Wallaby, but we also walked to see all the different animals in captivity. They also brought out some animals for us to pet and see up close! - OVERALL - A wonderful wildlife preservation site, and amazing staff to take care of them all!

Great group of attending people too, had a lot of laughs together. The painting teacher walks you through the techniques so even though I'm not even good at stick figures, I didn't do that bad! It is so nice to be able to be outside and see birds away from a store environment. This place is on 45 acres and it's kept up so beautifully. I was especially impressed when I met the owner and found out he is recovering from a health issue. The gentleman had trouble walking, but I guess he is on the mend and doing well. They have over 500 birds on premises and are so knowledgeable. I did a little research on the owner, Jerry, and he is THE expert of the breeding and caring of Toucans in captivity. While we were there he had 2 phones calls from other facilities asking for his advice on this situation or that. He with a couple of partners are the ones who developed the pellets that are now fed to these amazing creatures by zoos and other exotic owners. Super impressed with his knowledge and the knowledge of his assistant Marcella. Since Jerry is having difficulty walking, Marcella took us to the nursery. When I asked detailed questions of some of the babies, she pulled out a journal where EVERY bit of information on every bird is kept, from hatching until they are sold. I was floored. Also impressive is how friendly the babies were. They are hand raised and each one is socialized. I am definitely going to purchase a bird from here, I just love the way they start their life. The problem is deciding which one, do I choose an Aracaris or a Toucan..

I especially appreciated what seemed like local art being used throughout the entire house to tastefully decorate -- without going overboard with clutter. That was well done. But, netting out at almost $800/night increases expectations and so it probably deserves more like 3 or 3-1/2 stars. It was a 3 bedroom home and was ok -- nothing fancy or high-end. So maybe the cost was based on the size? Importantly, what we really believed we were paying extra for that would have been worth the money was the "farm stay" aspect. It may have been a house on a farm property, but it was not a "farm stay experience." The only thing that came close were the animals, but their enclosures were small, cramped, on the side of the road (which was steep and hard to walk on), and the animals did not look healthy or well taken care of. The alpaca's fur was matted up and many of the chickens had bald spots on their backs, potentially due to overcrowding, rooster overbreeding, or aggressively going after each other in such a small space for so many hens (and hopefully not from parasites). It was a side show vs. a real farm experience. Back to the house, another attraction in the listing was the hot tub -- but it had a really horrible smell. The towels we used to dry off with kept the smell too. We used it on the first day, but not afterward. It's a shame. If the hot tub issue were fixed, the property is nice enough, but I do believe it is mis-marketed. It'd probably be very appealing for a bigger group who is visiting the Temecula wine country scene, but who doesn't want to be in the middle of the fray and, instead, wants a quieter location that feels off the beaten path. It should not be marketed as a "farm stay." And the poor animals should definitely go, especially as they feel like such an after thought on the property anyhow.
