I never thought that I would EVEEEEEER hold a freakin' live SCORPION with my bare hands, not to mention a few... like, what?? And they are the super duper HUGE black ones that look even scarier, but when one of the guys there offered me to hold one, I gladly took the dare. These creepy crawlers are actually cool. After that, my son wanted to hold them too... and then we took videos and pics just to share what an amazing experience that was. Did my parents think I was absolutely INSANE for touching those things? The heck they did... but that just gave me one more thing to talk about. We booked a line up of 7 (mostly) Australian animals for our annual Australia Day Party this year. Megan was the trainer/educator and she was fantastic. She arrived on time, set up everything and hosted a lovely, educational and entertaining show for us. Our group was a mix of adults and kids and everyone had a great time. We got to pet the animals during the show and afterwards some people took photos with some of the more photo-friendly creatures. It was definitely something different and unique for our guests, many of whom had never seen such animals before. The animals were all well cared for and healthy looking and Megan was appropriately concerned with making sure the animals were comfortable. Now all my friends are telling me they want a pet wallaby! We had an amazing experience with Pacific Animal Productions! The set up process was very easy, and our trainer contacted us in advance to make sure everything was ready to go. Jessica was fantastic! She was knowledgeable and kept the kids interested, and I loved how special she made my son feel! We had a tamandua, sugar glider, boa, python, parrot, and a sloth. My son really wanted snakes so he was in heaven when Jessica put the python around him and then let it crawl across his legs! Our guests - even the adults - were so excited about the sloth. Everyone got a picture with him! My personal favorite was the tamandua. I could have watched him all day! The presentation kept the kids (mostly four to six year olds) interested and engaged. And Jessica was so good with the little ones - and the animals. She made the crowd fall in love with her amazing troupe of adorable creatures. Jessica came out to my house and did my son's 6th birthday party. Oh my goodness, I was so impressed. Prior to the party, I did all of my communication with Toby. She was incredibly easy to work with. Jessica called me a couple days before the party to make sure everything was set. She came out on the day of the party on time, ready to go. It was perfect, because I was running around trying to get everything else set up, and all I had to do was show Jessica how to get to the back yard, and where the canopy was that I had set up, and she took it from there. The animals all came in wrapped boxes (like big gifts) and the kids all got to guess what the animals were. She was very informative and funny, and was able to keep the kids engaged (as much as you can engage a bunch of 6 year olds and their little siblings!). All of our friends were impressed, and some even took part, touching some of the animals. I would highly recommend this company to anyone searching for a fun and unique party idea. I would even consider using them again, because their "menu" of available animals is so extensive, we could have them come out with a completely different set of creatures.
