Not only is Cindy a wealth of knowledge in her field, she understands how different body systems work together, and has studied and been blessed with the knowledge of how to get those systems to work synergistically. Not having experienced tummy issues in the past, but struggling with fatigue and a mind that just hasn't been right for about a year now, the thought of getting a colonic never crossed my mind until multiple friends of mine, a couple who did have stomach issues and a couple who had different issues, started talking about how exceptional Cindy is in her practice and as a person. As mentioned, I have been tackling issues of fatigue and generally just have not been feeling like myself for about a year or more. I have been open to getting off some of my medications and trying a more natural approach. After consulting with Dr. Google I was pretty skeptical of the colonic procedure and had a ton of questions which were all articulately answered at my first visit with Cindy. I could tell she has years of experience and loves helping people get well. I was also silently nervous of the obvious feeling of awkwardness yet she made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed before we started any part of the procedure. Her facility is clean and the environment is private and warm. I went back for a second treatment and have a third visit scheduled. Whenever I am with her for an appointment Cindy is attentive and I feel heard and never rushed. Cindy is responsive, has a calming bedside manner and was extremely thorough before, during and after both procedures with information and follow up. She checked in with me after both visits to make sure I was feeling ok and didn't have any questions. The benefits of the procedure go far beyond just my digestive tract. I have more energy, my mood is elevated and my head is clear. I will continue to see Cindy for routine maintenance and am confident to suggest anyone with or without issues have it done even if you don't think you need it. It's a great way to clear the slate and get centered. It was a great way for myself to get back to being me.

Her journey into alternative healing began through profound personal loss. Within four years, she lost five loved ones — including her son, Wiley. In my search for comfort and understanding, I explored the healing process of essential oils, infrared therapy, crystal energy and vibration medicine. What began as a path toward her own restoration became a calling to help others heal too. Here at Wiley’s Wellness Sanctuary, our holistic approach meets light and energy to harness your inner vitality. I combine my experience in nutrition, grief coaching, health coaching and crystal therapy to create a safe and sacred space for transformation. Every session is designed to raise vibration, restore balance and guide each soul toward renewed light and peace. Dr. Rachel is decent however, she does frequently cancel you in juggling her own medical issues or traveling. Cancelling again, I reluctantly booked Reuckl to maintain consistency in care for my knee. I'm not really fond of him, however, I've made a commitment to wellbeing. In reporting 3 previous experiences (and last) I find him consistently dismissive, condescending, never prompt, and often made to wait a half hour, as was the case again this week. Reuckl, is a self proclaimed former paid comedian. On his eventual grand entrance into the treatment room, he tossed out a few jokes then volleyed a barrage of questions as to why I was there. Doh! He constantly dissed my answers one by one and felt pressured to continuously rephrase my answers. This is unacceptable. Known explicitly for clear communication in my own line of work, I never once felt heard or acknowledged while communicating with him. Because of this behavior, I had switched to Rachel months ago and found immediate compassionate, professional, coherent and responsive treatment. We clicked and did good work together. Lately she's dealing with her own medical and travel agenda and often unavailable. I'm an innately kind, patient person and gravitate to the healing arts because they traditionally offer more consciousness. I have fantastic connections in massage, chiropractic and physical therapy. I seek quality, compassion and professional services. Mutual respect is important to me. As a professional in the public sphere as well, I have honed people skills and make a point to offer respect and generally accept people where they're at in the given moment. Meeting with Reuckl once again after the lengthy wait, I navigated through more precious time of what I felt emerged as downright attempts of mental abuse. I was led down a rabbit hole of cross examination, and at every corner, was dissed for my responses for over another 30 minutes. I never felt heard or respected. In feeble attempts to joke, he made fun of a newly prescribed blood pressure machine I brought in, and said 'We won't use yours, mine is better'. That may or may not have been true, however I feel professional etiquette just got tossed out the window right there. Regarding the locale of the knee pain, he asked specifically 5 times where the pain in my knee was. I answered each question to the best of my ability. He still didn't seem satisfied and continued to ask the same question over and over again. We talked Blood Pressure. At one point he threw down a folder violently on a nearby table. This is not healthy professional behavior. Concerning what is no more than a 5x 5 sq. in. knee circumference, it's his job to figure out how to treat the area holistically, not mine. I can communicate where the general pain is coming from, but specifically it does radiate. Poor thing wasn't satisfied with my answers. Objectively speaking, intuitive and calming he was not. During the dreaded session I fully regret making, I witnessed this man displaying two types of personality, initially vacillating from joking to aggressive forms of interrogation that morphed into absolutely no respect for my communications, second guessing everything I was experiencing and relaying. He KNEW darn well the operation I had, and he KNEW the locale of injury, because it was in his notes. He has treated it before. Eventually, the ego based mental gymnastics and semantics were not making me feel safe or honored as a client. Something definitely seemed very wrong here. Why, at 4pm was I not on the table getting treatment for a 3 o'clock appt on issues he was well familiar with? Finally I stopped the games, I loudly objected, expressing he was condescending and dismissive, asked for my 100.00 back and expressed that I was very upset. On leaving, he verbally accepted what he called 'my criticism', rather than acknowledge the stressful experience with him and what we could do to improve the connection. He never offered an apology or provided a path for treatment. I never had my session. Lastly, it appears that he offers selective care for those he likes. I guess I'm not one of them. As a relatively new patient, I've said or done nothing to deserve this. They hardly even know me there. I was referred by Soul Spa in Reno, and they will definitely be hearing about my experience. Because of this unprofessionalism, Dr. Rachel has also lost a client. I wouldn't recommend this man to an animal, let alone a human being. I feel it's an opportunity to share my experience for those seeking acupuncture treatment, helping to avoid emotional harm, as well as find someone who is far more ethical, stable, professional, fairly priced and genuine. Thumbs down for 'Sinistry'.

Thankfully, we landed in Tahoe, and Dr. Elena graciously allowed us appointments in spite of not yet being fully open. After one treatment, we are both back to nearly normal! We felt very safe; infection control practices were what you'd expect of a healthcare provider - on point. I've had acupuncture regularly in the past and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Dr. Elena was thoughtful in her approach, extremely knowledgeable, and gentle but effective. At the end of the treatment, she offered a therapeutic massage - I've never experienced this with acupuncture before, and it was the icing on the cake! She also provided helpful after-care instructions, to ensure sustained benefits, and recommended herbs. This was truly a holistic care experience. Not only did my neck pain and mobility improve, my headache resolved and I left more relaxed than I have been in months. I can not recommend Dr. Elena, or this clinic, highly enough. I only wish we lived close by so this could be a regular experience!
