Not only is Cindy a wealth of knowledge in her field, she understands how different body systems work together, and has studied and been blessed with the knowledge of how to get those systems to work synergistically. Not having experienced tummy issues in the past, but struggling with fatigue and a mind that just hasn't been right for about a year now, the thought of getting a colonic never crossed my mind until multiple friends of mine, a couple who did have stomach issues and a couple who had different issues, started talking about how exceptional Cindy is in her practice and as a person. As mentioned, I have been tackling issues of fatigue and generally just have not been feeling like myself for about a year or more. I have been open to getting off some of my medications and trying a more natural approach. After consulting with Dr. Google I was pretty skeptical of the colonic procedure and had a ton of questions which were all articulately answered at my first visit with Cindy. I could tell she has years of experience and loves helping people get well. I was also silently nervous of the obvious feeling of awkwardness yet she made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed before we started any part of the procedure. Her facility is clean and the environment is private and warm. I went back for a second treatment and have a third visit scheduled. Whenever I am with her for an appointment Cindy is attentive and I feel heard and never rushed. Cindy is responsive, has a calming bedside manner and was extremely thorough before, during and after both procedures with information and follow up. She checked in with me after both visits to make sure I was feeling ok and didn't have any questions. The benefits of the procedure go far beyond just my digestive tract. I have more energy, my mood is elevated and my head is clear. I will continue to see Cindy for routine maintenance and am confident to suggest anyone with or without issues have it done even if you don't think you need it. It's a great way to clear the slate and get centered. It was a great way for myself to get back to being me.

Thankfully, we landed in Tahoe, and Dr. Elena graciously allowed us appointments in spite of not yet being fully open. After one treatment, we are both back to nearly normal! We felt very safe; infection control practices were what you'd expect of a healthcare provider - on point. I've had acupuncture regularly in the past and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Dr. Elena was thoughtful in her approach, extremely knowledgeable, and gentle but effective. At the end of the treatment, she offered a therapeutic massage - I've never experienced this with acupuncture before, and it was the icing on the cake! She also provided helpful after-care instructions, to ensure sustained benefits, and recommended herbs. This was truly a holistic care experience. Not only did my neck pain and mobility improve, my headache resolved and I left more relaxed than I have been in months. I can not recommend Dr. Elena, or this clinic, highly enough. This was one of the best office visits and adjustments I have ever had. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous and worked me into the schedule on the Friday of a Holiday weekend when she had a cancelation! Thank you! My experience only got better from there when Dr. Dimitry came in to see me. He was very through, listened to my symptoms, asked me questions for clarification, and explained every adjustment he made and why. He is very approachable and didn't try to sell me a "family plan" or some other foolishness. I really felt like he cared about making me better and I appreciate that. I was in a lot of pain when I came in and felt 100% better when I left. I scheduled another visit for next week and am looking forward to feeling better with each adjustment. Dr. Dimitry is definitely a super Chiropractor!
