10/22/2025: These guys deserve a HUGE shoutout for the most amazing customer service I've been witness to in a VERY long time. I'm in town to help my Mom for a few days, and the brightly lit amber warning light (shaped like a wrench) popped up. Time for an oil change. It's glowing bright and beating with a pulse, burning a hole in my brain. It was a very busy day and I wasn't able to get to PACC until about 20 minutes before they were closing. I had called much earlier in the day after being referred by a friend, and the guy at the counter remembered. He was so apologetic but explained they still had vehicles being worked on and it was almost closing time... but told me that he knew I was in a pinch to get my oil change done and said that Oilstop with whom they shared a parking lot would be fine just to get my oil changed. That was pure gold, because who wants to hand their vehicle to just anyone randomly? He alleviated any concerns I had and I was able to check this task off of my list. I took my 2016 Chevy Tahoe for ac check.I spent $230 for ac inspection and service which is until this moment I don't understand the difference between service and inspection, anyway after I paid this amount, The result was ZERO..... They said I need Ac compressor and it would cost $920.unbelievable amount to change it,FYI I ended up doing all of this somewhere else for $320 including inspection and service .....(plus ac compressor part for $120) I cant say in detail here what happened ,but the bottom line I will never go back ,I talked to the owner and both of his kids and they kept sending me to each other to talk to. not Honest business,not Fair,they depend on there regular customers ,do not go if its your first time. read more

Went in for an oil change last week, the guys at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Oil change took about 30-45 min a usual time for any oil change for most places. The waiting room is fairly small so if you have kids or family members with you it can get crowded. But they provide a shuttle service free of charge. Now if you do decide to stay they offer free wifi and complimentary coffee. I went back again because i had torn my splash guard underneath my car. They gave me a quick fix to make sure it wasn't hanging so it wouldn't fly out. Great mechanics in the shop and great customer service. read more

My husband and I were customers at PACC Automotive for several years until an incident happened a few months ago. My husband took my Jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation. Not even a mile after picking up the Jeep the driver side rear wheel completely fell off. After calling AAA, the vehicle was dropped back off at the shop later that day. We received a call the next day from the manager during which he informed us that they put the SPARE tire on the Jeep and it was ready to be picked up. Shocked, my husband kindly asked for the wheel to be fixed and put back into the same condition it was in when initially dropped off. With some reluctance, the manager agreed to restore the wheel to its original condition stating that it would take several days to hopefully find the correct wheel. I later learned from another mechanic that the part replaced was the rotor, not the wheel. Meaning the manager initially tried to give the vehicle back to me with a broken rotor and a spare tire. This was the first instance of dishonesty but would not be the last. When arriving to pick up the Jeep, my husband and I asked for confirmation it was safe to drive and the manager told us yes and that he had personally test driven the vehicle for 20 miles after the labor was performed. After checking the odometer with the original receipt we found he had only driven it about 5 miles max. After enduring this ordeal we requested a refund on the service which was performed incorrectly resulting in this dangerous incident. Instead of being issued a full refund, we were offered a 100 gift certificate for our next service. Needless to say, our trust was broken and the gift certificate was not worth anything to us as we had no plans to return. We respectfully declined the gift certificate and again asked for a refund, to which we were told this was not possible for some odd reason. The manager said he would talk to the owner to see if it was possible and that we would hear from the owner in the coming week, but that was another lie. We also tried contacting the owner directly and of course never heard back. I understand mistakes happen, but the way it was handled was shocking and was the main reason why we decided to move on. They are dishonest and tried to do the bare minimum possible to fix the situation to avoid a lawsuit. Additionally, the manager acted very nonchalant about it and didn't even apologize. DO NOT ever take your car to PACC auto. They don't care about their customers. read more

I was approached by (presumably) the owner, a man named Dan and he was rude, condescending and made me feel immediately unwelcome. I asked about pricing, again feeling uncomfortable and felt like they were all staring. This man, Dan would not give me a clear answer and instead proceeded to say "you wouldn't understand" when I asked what the service entailed. I thought we were past 1950's inequality. If I could give a half of a star, I would. This happened 7/20/22 - 722/22. I brought my wife's Honda Crosstour in with a couple of check engine lights on that I couldn't figure out how to repair. They called back and said we "Think" you need a valve adjustment and a fuel injector service and that "Should" fix your problem. I asked so basically you don't know what's wrong with it and you're guessing? And they replied, well you've never had those done so it's "Probably" that and it "Should" fix it. Ok, how much? "$875". Ok, no problem go ahead and repair it. Get a call back the next day. "We found a bad valve cover and we can't put it back in that way so you're going to need a new one. Don't worry, we'll keep it to show you". Ok... how much is that? "$370." Ok, I guess, do what you need to do. Car's done, go to pick it up. $1275 later, the engine lights went away. Go on a vacation for a week and the car sits all week. Go to start the car, and guess what's back? THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS!!! They didn't fix anything!!! All I ended up doing is paying $1275 for a service that was recommended but obviously not the issue! With gas prices this high and the cost of everything currently, $1275 for "Maybe this will help" service is not acceptable! Nor should it ever be! I don't know how this place has BBB plaques and the rating they do. I can't speak for everyone but from my experience I found that they're expensive and didn't even fix the issue!!! Maybe they're only good for easy things like oil changes. I feel like I was ripped off and it's disappointing. I try to do the mechanic work in house to avoid situations like this and the one time I think I'm taking it in to the "Experts", this happens. Now I have to go to Honda and spend who knows how much on ANOTHER diagnostic fee plus repairs. read more

I've never taken my car anywhere besides my dad's garage so I was nervous about trusting a shop. But my brakes had been making a horrible grinding sound for a couple weeks and my dad was busy, so I want to Pacc on my grandma's recommendation. It took quite a bit longer than I expected but in the end they called me up to say that my brakes actually didn't need to be changed and that they had cleaned and lubricated them for me. For only about $40 my problem was fixed! I'm very impressed that they didn't just change my brakes and get the extra money from me as I was sure I needed new brakes and easily would have ponied up the dough. I went to PACC yesterday to have my brakes checked. I'd been noticing a strange squeak. They treated me very kindly and courteously. I've been trying to find a permanent mechanic to care for Betty (my car). Anyway, they took care of the problem. My car drives like it's brand new and it's about nine years old. The examination/repairs only took about 1 1/2 hours. Barnes & Noble is about a five minute walk so it's a good place to pass time, too. And...you'll like this...the cost was more than reasonable...less than what I expected. I'll be back. read more

Yes, this place can be a little pricey sometimes but when it comes down too it, you get what you pay for. Service is always awesome, they really do what they can to help you out. I've had them replace a cam sensor, and a throttle body. Also they just recently repaired a blown head gasket. Dear Yelp Gods, please do not filter my review because rating PACC with just 3.5 stars based on 3 reviews and not counting the 19 filtered reviews is really unfair. A long, long time ago, 1991 to be exact, I took my Honda Civic Accord to Midas to have my brake pads replaced. Instead, I left with a quote for $650 worth of repairs they said I needed right away because it's too dangerous. Having just moved to Valencia, I didn't know anyone, so I pulled the trusty Yellow Pages, and yes, phonebooks existed at that time. I saw the listing for PACC and drove there. I met Dan, the owner, and he told me I needed brake pads, just what I knew I needed. I showed him the quote from Midas and he told me I didn't need those and it's safe to drive my car. Since then, I've taken my car there. My car suffered from having previously lived in Dallas due to the harsh weather and the salt they put on the road during winter. So one day, I took my 10-year old car to Dan. He looked at it and said something to me I will never forget, "I'm not going to fix it because I refuse to take your money. If I fix this, you'll be back in a month because this thing will break down, and another one, and another one. I can tweak it so you can drive to the car dealer, trade it in and get another car." I was floored! I've never heard of a car mechanic refuse to take my money. So he tweaked it and I got another car, a 1996 Accord. 15 years later, I still have the same car, thanks to Dan and his crew at PACC. It has 190,000 miles and runs well. PACC has taken care of all of our cars. When we bought cars, we made sure they were either Hondas or Toyotas because those were the only ones they serviced at that time. My mother who lives in Silverlake drives up to Valencia to have her car serviced at PACC. When we moved to Glendale a year ago, we upgraded our AAA membership to include a 100-mile free tow so in case we ever get in trouble, we can have the car towed to PACC - that's how much I trust them. I can always count on Bryan and Mike to give me a straight answer. They call when they said they would, they explain what needs to be done, what can be delayed and how long it should be delayed, always upfront. During one of my recent conversations with Dan, he said, "I may not be the cheapest, but my prices are fair." And that's all I ask from any vendor, to charge me what's fair. Took my Tacoma truck in to PACC after another local mechanic , Soledad automotive had two shots and two misses fixing a problem with the engine running very rough . PACC it seems, isn't any better. They replaced plugs, supposedly did an injector service, turns that was a scam. Charged me 300.00 mostly for the injectors scam. Short tine later had the same problem . I called to ask some questions before taking the car in and the person over the phone took the time to answer my questions politely and patiently.
