However, it's been a real disappointment as I have completely just been ghosted. My appointment for a home cleaning was scheduled for yesterday at noon. I received a text within an hour of that appointment saying they couldn't make it due to car troubles. I didn't mind and was understanding of the situation. We agreed to reschedule the cleaning for today at 830am. By 9am I called twice, left a voicemail and even text messages with no response. It's now 2pm and I've still yet to receive a text or call back. My plans to sell my house have been pushed back another week or two. I would have appreciated it if the company could have just reached out saying they couldn't make it today. They wasted a lot of my time, and I'm really disappointing with their customer service. It was a two-person crew who did a decent job with getting the grease residue out of the kitchen and most of the calcium rings out of the toilets. That's about where the positive ends. I had my personal cleaning supplies used and taken (whatever they didn't want was placed in black bag given back to me at the end), range knobs were destroyed because they were placed in the dishwasher, a few blind sets were broken (string knocked off track) during dusting (they smack blinds with a duster), and various spots were missed (doors, baseboards, windows/sills). I guess it's my fault for not checking the work before forking over the cash as they quickly ran out the door.

Adalecia said yes, we were still good. I had asked for the time of arrival and she hadn't given a time, so I replied with the address and again asked for the time I could expect her. This time, she said she had a family emergency come up and had to go out of town, so she wouldn't be able to do the work on Saturday as scheduled. I get it, emergencies happen, but I was already pretty skeptical with the lack of communication before this, so I figure she had just forgotten about it. I asked when we could reschedule and she said "maybe" she'd be back on Monday and "maybe" we could get it done Tuesday or Wednesday. I am pretty torn writing this, because I was a regular customer of Tierra Eco Cleaning for nearly 4…read moreyears. Throughout the 4 years, they did a good job, when they came. They are pretty unreliable and even after repeated requests to give me a 2-3 day heads up before they came through the years, they would continue to send me confirmations the evening before an 8am call time. I let it go and continued to use them after so many years because I genuinely liked Rosa and her team, and thought they did a good job 90% of the time. It became super inconvenient since I started to work from home over COVID-19. Rosa became SUPER unresponsive to texts. Before she would at least answer me a couple days after I texted her to schedule, now, after COVID-19, she only responds a month later for an appointment for the next morning. I don't understand how anyone can schedule with her consistently because of these communication issues. I tried addressing it with her multiple times and even said if you just schedule me every month on the same day, that would even work better so I can know when they are coming ahead of time. She responded right away after this last message and said she would look at her schedule the next day and work on the communication issue. She hasn't followed up with her schedule and it has been several months now. So needless to say, she lost a monthly customer. I also referred a few friends to her and embarrassingly, she no showed on them! Not worth the time, stress, or hassle in trying to get her to come.

Also Rosa just has a great, comfortable 'vibe', her daughters are adorable and all 3 did an IMPECCABLE job. In fact, they even vacuumed completely under the bed. I did not expect that as its a large bed and no other cleaner has done that (nor did I ask). Rosa says that she enjoys cleaning- I believe this to be true. She obviously takes great pride in her work and is most pleasant to be around. They also did that fancy thing with folding the toilet paper like they do in upscale hotels (it was a nice touch!), not to mention she showed up exactly on time. I'm not a real stickler for that but definitely took notice. Rosa and her girls get my highest possible recommendation. And honestly I'm relieved because I tried 4 other cleaners from this site, 3 of which left much to be desired (i had to finish the cleaning) and the 4th did a very good job but then blew off our second appointment. You would be very hard pressed to find a better housecleaning team than Tierra Eco Cleaning Service, and her price for the level of quality provided simply cannot be beat. Need I say more?
