The service guy at the counter asked if I wanted a new air filter and wiper blades and quoted me a price range for both. I agreed as I needed both and he checked them off on his little tablet. I gave him my keys and he gave me a receipt tag and I left. 25 minutes later I got a text that my car was ready. Picked it up and wanted at the counter for 22 minutes before an attendant even showed up. Finally a 2nd guy showed up Im guessing after his lunch break. When they rang up my total it was only $52 so I knew then they just did the oil change and none of the other items that I requested. I was late for an appointment so couldn't stay and question it. An hour later I looked at my bill in detail and saw where the technician noted that the didn't replace the oil filter because they didn't have that model in house???!!! So they drained my oil, added 6 quarts with a dirty oil filter and charged me for a full oil change! I tried calling 4 times since then and the phone just rings. Ridiculous way to run a business.

Walmart automotive was closed so I looked for another option. I stopped in and talked to them, they said I could wait but had another appointment came back the next day. This was the first oil change since I purchased it. Was impressed with the stuff that they checked and let me know about. The manager Mark Perry was extremely knowledgeable and polite. While I was waiting he was going out of his way to help another customer. I will be going back for all of my oil changes.

However whoever worked on it seen the brakes was getting hot. Took it upon himself to "investigate" and pressed the calipers back and greased them up. That's nice right...... Brakes 101 tells you after pressing the calipers you pump up the brakes to gain back pressure in the caliper not toss the keys back to the customer. Yeah needless to say my step dad backs out with no brakes and smashes in to my mom's new truck. What people do you have working on these cars. If they don't have a clue about brakes or any other mechanical issues then don't touch it. Of course they offered no help and no responsibility to it. Steer clear of these people.

Appointment made, service done...well, most of it. They only reattached the skid plate on the bottom with one of several screws required. So, it detached to the point it was scraping along the road at ~40 mph. Thank God it wasn't on I-75. Imagine that large hunk of metal coming out from underneath the car ahead of you at 70 mph. It could have killed somebody. My 17 year-old son was smart enough to stop the car pull into a gas station and, before I got there, a good samaritan was nice enough to crawl under the engine compartment and managed to remove it and the one screw. I just called to explain to the manager what happened and he said they couldn't get us in today to fix the issue but in a couple days they could look at it. No apology, no sound of astonishment or remorse. Owners of Grismer - this is YOUR team - they reflect on YOU. This wasn't the first time this shop has done something like this to our cars. Not sure how Grismer stays in business. We all try and buy local and support the home team - sorry this gaffe could have caused a serious accident involving my son.
