One dining room for a "collective" of four restaurants with over 160 menu items combined. PROS:…read morewagyu tacos, hamburger sliders, great seating area and rooftop seating.

I honestly wish every restaurant had this same concept!…read more Lets start from the beginning - reservations are very easy to make online and I would highly suggest making one as the two times Ive come it has been pretty crowded. There isn't a parking lot but lots of options for street parking. Upon entering you check in with the host and are escorted to a table. There is tons of seating including an upstairs patio. Now the good stuff - what makes this restaurant stand out? The fact that it is 5 restaurants in 1! Yes you heard that right. In the mood for Italian...they've got that. In the mood for Mexican...they've got that too. Wanting Japanese...yep its there as well. This is like a dream come true for picky and indecisive eaters alike. You are handed a menu with several pages. Each page represents one of the five restaurants with full menus from each. Heres where it gets great - you can order off any menu or even all! For example you can get an appetizer from one, entree from another, side from a different one, and dessert from a new one as well. AMAZING!! Also the waiter/waitress is the one that goes to all the locations to order and bring your food so you just stay seating awaiting the goodness. Now the reason it didnt get 5 stars is because both times I came after I got the food the server basically vanished and I couldnt even get water refills. However for the first half of the meal they have great service. I am already excited for my next visit!

The tucker at any surf life saving club is always a hit and miss affair. After all, most of us…read moredon't go there for the food - it's for a few sherries and the views, and if it's the latter you're after, one of the best in South East Queensland is the Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club. And, guess what - the food's OK too! We stumbled across this beach side bonanza while looking for a car park that was close to the beach around the area, and the beaches are clean, neat and patrolled, and the food worth writing home about. The Palmy Beef Burger is pure bliss on a bun with a thick cut of meat, a filling bread roll, fries and any number of sauces to decorate the spindly yet crisp spuds. You can sit at a table with a close outlook over the sea and the surrounds while digesting the views and your meal, or take a place on the pub's fast-paced bar and serving area if that's your fancy. My recommendation would be to talk a long and leisurely walk south to the wall at Currumbin Alley, work up an appetite with the sensuous salt air, then return to the club, pop a bottle of bubbles, celebrate your good fortune at finding a place like this, and drink in the views as well. It's a very special location, affordable and so casual that you'll feel right at home. I know we did!

Not overcooked, mildly fried and buttery, but it didn't knock down my sails or anything. After numerous other plates we made stomach space for dessert, and certainly, this joint has the best Caramel Fudge Bars that I've had anywhere. After a few bites, others clamored around, and it was gone. Bliss is brief. Still, I coulda killed a few more hours on the breezy patio with some cocktails.
