Smart Safety & Development Solutions - Heather Smart demonstrating proper techniques.

Smart Safety & Development Solutions

My coworkers and I took the CPR and AED class instructed by Heather Smart…read more Heather is very knowledgeable. She prefers to do hands on instruction verses reading booklets and watching videos. The hands on approach is more realistic and gives a better idea of what may happen when CPR and AED skills are needed in an emergency situation. Heather is very passionate about her class and training. After the verbal lesson, we were put into groups of 4 with a dummy to have the hands on experience. The "smart" dummies are equipped with lights to let you know if the compression strength you are using is strong enough. A green light indicates you are doing it correctly. A red or yellow light means you need to use more force. We also used an infant dummy to see the difference between adults and children as the compression strength needed is a lot less and with fingers instead of 2 full hands. It was a little embarrassing to act out a real life situation at first. Not everyone is comfortable acting out a scenario in front of others. As a good instructor should do, Heather was addiment we would not be given a passing grade until she saw each of us perform the series of steps necessary to complete CPA and AED properly. We each took turns and she watched to make sure we did it correctly. After one round, the embarrassment went away and we all started getting into it. I appreciate Heather's approach and dedication to the class. She even got on the floor (see picture) with us to demonstrate the steps herself before turning it over to us. At the end of our 3 hour class, we were given a survey. I gave Heather a 10 (extremely satisfied) on all questions asked. We all left feeling confident and well educated. Hopefully our assistance won't be needed, but should and emergency arise in the future, I am happy we have our certification to help save lives. Our group plans to have Heather back in a few months to take a first aid course.

I wish I can rate this company with a zero star. The lady canceled my course at the last minute…read morebecause I was the only student enrolled that day. When I said " I cannot wait because my BLS card is expired" . She said that the "system doesn't work, I will let you know if I can fix it" which was her excuse for being UNPROFESSIONAL . Of course, I immediately looked for another option since I didn't have another day to wait to have this done. I found a really great company around the kingwood-humble area. I requested my money back from Heather and she totally refused to do so. So I ended up paying double for my BLS course. The other company I found was a professional company and I actually enjoyed the training. In fact, I was the only student and they didn't mind teaching me. After taking the BLS course with another company I realized that Smart Safe Development Solutions are no good for learning. btw the place where they hold the training is awful and uncomfortable. ( this was the only place I knew) but in fact there are great places out there for the same money! Look for other options!

Amazing from check-in! Staff is professional and courteous! The provider did a great job…read moreexplaining, not only what was wrong but what to expect in the days to come with the medications! Update from my previous review!!! (I'm only allowed. 1 review)…read more (2 months ago) This clinic has been my go to for phentermine and lipo b shots never had any issue with them! Today on the other hand I went in to try tirzepatide compound honestly I didn't like that the syringes are pre-filled, but I wanted to jump on this trend! I was not told where to inject, how I should modify my diet, how much protein to intake. I've done research, but still. All they did was take my weight, blood pressure and then I got an "ok you're injections are ready" pay up kinda thing. I feel like the employees/medical assistants should be more knowledgeable on medications etc. I asked what was it compounded with and they just said "some b vitamin" Response from the owner 2 months ago That is not how we operate, and this issue should have been reported to management so we could address it immediately. We hope Google assists you promptly and provides you with the medical attention you need since you felt this was the best way to get the help you needed. We wish you the best on your journey. Today 05/27/2025 Did you know if you leave a review they will add you to the " Do not treat patient list" !!! A review is meant for the business to listen to us and "help" them improve! Not here! They will not service you!! I called to ask for pricing on tirzepatide and the receptionist asked for my information which I gave her my name and she said I'm on the list ! I asked to speak to the owner or manager and all she could provide me was an email! Looks like this is going to the board. This so called "clinic" should be considered a med spa and not a clinic In my opinion!
