So once you go through the wash you pull into one of the spots with the vacuums and take as long as you need to really get the inside of your car nice and clean. I don't know about you but those vacuums at the gas station that you have to feed all of your quarters into annoy the crap out of me because they never give me enough time to get everything vacuumed before it shuts off. The prices are on par with other car washes and when you factor in the free vacuum I think it's even a bigger bargain. I'll keep returning to this car wash when my car needs a bath.

Put the 5 quarters it requires to start the cycle in there FIRST, and then cycle through all the selections you want and visibly make sure they're working before you put even a single additional quarter in there. 9 times out of 10, either the pressure washer won't have soap, the foam brush won't work or the tri-color wax comes out like the soap from an empty bottle of cleaner that you're just trying your hardest to pump out but you can only get a few suds at a time, but you absolutely HAVE to clean that stove-top, man, so you just keep at it and keep hoping. This past weekend, NONE of the foam brushes worked in any of the bays. People wasting their money left and right. Another recent weekend, I spent about 10 minutes waiting for the wax to come out and no matter which bay you choose, prepare to get a shower because those fittings on those high pressure hoses are ALWAYS going bad or getting loose and spraying water all over the place. Go somewhere else. Please re-read the first sentence in this review. You know why I gave this place 2 stars instead of just 1? Because of what it USED TO BE. There are several gas pumps here and a carwash, too. The gas prices here are usually slightly higher than others in the area because it's located in an place where other gas stations aren't very near, thus no competitive pricing. If this gas station is your only option (i.e. You can't go another mile or two for price comparisons) then it's a pretty good choice.

This Tommy's is only a couple of years old and is still bright and clean and in good repair. The…read morecar wash is not touchless, but it does a good job cleaning my little car without beating it up or scratching the paint. I get a lot of coupons in the mail from them which has led to a lot of free car washes the last couple years. The pricing is comparable to the other places around. Convenient location and the traffic flow is nice in/out and around. They tend to stay busy, but I have never had to wait for a turn at a vacuum. Cleaning-wise, I think the Pitstop Carwash up the street does a better job washing the car BUT I prefer Tommy's because of the extras you get. The vacuums are powerful and the hoses are long so you can vacuum the whole car. There are little compressed air blowers available so you can blow the residual water out of all the little crevices on your car. My favorite - they have floor mat washers to wash and clean your floor mats. Microfiber rags are available for wiping down everything and they have decent window cleaner and chemical products for cleaning the rest. Fantastic! I generally hate cleaning my car, but having all this stuff available makes it painless. The car wash cleans the car well enough to just drive through and away, if that's all you want, but the extras are totally worth it. A little elbow grease and my car looks great.
