I love the pictures we got from our Maternity and Newborn shoots so much but I also loved the experience of working with her. I really appreciated her communication via email. This entire shopping area is hard to enter until you realize it is not on Princeton-Hightstown Road, but once that is discovered, there are several worthwhile shops and restaurants that can bring you back. Simple lighting and a stool perfectly measured for passport shots. Digital camera in hand, the actual session took about three minutes. No smile. No glasses. I brought the plates to LA Frame to be refurbished and shadow-box framed. Upon entering the store, George, the owner, greeted me, and the wonderful experience began. It was obvious that he was proficient, patient, and had a welcoming and pleasant demeanor. His guidance in helping me select the frame, matting, and glass made the process easy. The exposed portions of the plates were expertly cleaned. The felt portions were cleaned but still maintained an appreciated aged appearance. The weathered painted plate edges held their character. My sister's shadow-boxed plate was a birthday gift for her. The happiness this brought to her lifted my heart with joy. My shadow-boxed plate is hung on my bedroom wall. The boxes are so beautifully done. You know when you look at something and it conjures up wonderful memories from your youth, and you experience happiness from the beauty of looking at it, that's what I have from my work of art. If you have anything you treasure that the skills and services of LA Frame can fulfill, rest easy with it in their care.

I have been so blessed to get to work with her on updating my headshots. Truly: "blessed" is definitely the right word choice. From our first meeting, I really could tell that I wanted to work with her: her spirit, honesty, professionalism, and portfolio were both impressive and inviting. She was so knowledgeable in the planning of the shoot, and gave me information I would never have even considered if left to my own devices. We shot this past week (check the date: that means a New York, January morning), and even in the 30-degree weather her warmth was radiant. Her energy on the set kept me excited, laughing, and as ignorant as possible to the temperature. She also directed the entire shoot, which was SO helpful -one does not realize how quickly the shoulders tense up and teeth start chattering. She made sure that I breathed and stayed relaxed. And I cannot believe that even as the shoot went on and I got colder, it seems my frames got BETTER. -I credit that all to her genius and direction. She is also a magician with hair and makeup (that is right: no outside person to add to cost...and blissfully no need to stress about accomplishing everything on my own), and took the time to really ask me many questions so that we could get what 'look' best translated my personality into an image. I am so pleased and privileged that I got to work with Mary. The entire experience has been a delight...the only problem now is that I have so many lovely pictures in the pool from which to choose -a dilemma I am grateful to face. I am going to be proud to use her work as my 'calling card' for the coming years, as their quality is such that they will last. But that leaves me with one last problem: I had so much fun that I want to shoot with her again as soon as possible. I can only think of one solution: I am going to have to hurry up get engaged so that she can shoot my wedding.

Mary was able to keep me engaged and intrigued throughout the entire 2.5 hour process, which seemed like minutes because of how much fun we had. I would reccommend her services to anyone that is looking for a professional photographer because she puts new meaning to the term "bang for your buck".
