Came for a pre cleaning assessment. Promised us several extra's upon our request. We wanted every week cleaning, yet they only came about every other week because of lame excuses. The several extra's, which she was happy to charge us for, never happened. When I tried to contact the owner, who came out and did the assessment, she took two weeks to call back. Then I asked why the extra's were not done, and she claimed I never asked for them. When I told her I wont be using the service anymore, she overcharged me for the last visit, and never said sorry about not meeting my needs. Terrible service. Terrible owner. Now I am paying 35% less, and the cleaning job is twice as good. Another bonus? They do what you ask, unlike PJ & Associates. I would not recommend PJ's to anybody. read more

We have used PJ and Assoc. cleaning services for about 4 yrs for our cabin near Twain Harte. I cannot think of one single thing that hasn't been stellar about their service. They show up when they say they will and it's so reassuring for us to know that whenever we go to our cabin, it's going to be spotless. They've been great about letting us know if they notice anything out of place. They've been understanding on the few occasions I've forgotten to leave a check for them, and they will take payment over the phone as a convenience. 100% of the time that I leave a message or email Eileen (the very sweet scheduling lady) she will always reply very promptly. They follow through on everything. I suppose most people don't bother writing reviews unless there's a problem, but I've got to say that what happened today, definitely deserves recognition. I accidentally left a hundred dollar bill folded in my room. On a whim, I spoke on the phone with Dae (one of the cleaning ladies) and told her I forgot it. She said she'd keep an eye out for it. I thought, there's no way anyone will turn it in, even if they found it. It's too easy to keep and say nothing. Boy, was I wrong!! She called me within 5 min to let me know they found it and told me where it was! She told me she'll return it to the office so I can get it back. You know, integrity and honesty are things you can't put a price on! I never expected them to turn it in. I've never met them. They don't know me. And it would've been SO easy for one of them to keep it. But that's not the kind of people that Pam hires. (she's the owner) I called her to let her know how impressed I was with Dae, for her honesty. And Dae, if you read this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope my review will encourage others to hire PJ and Assoc. I coudn't ask for more than prompt, friendly service, hard working workers who are thorough and honest to the core. We have been using PJ & Assoc. for our vacation rental for almost a year and have been very happy with their service. Eileen takes care of scheduling and is always great with communication, which was important to me as a property manager. PJ and her crew have always done a fantastic job with keeping our cabin in great shape for our renters and we've gotten numerous reviews that mention how clean our cabin is. As a Property Management company in the Twain Harte area, we have been managing both vacation and full-time rentals for the past 25 years. For all of those 25 years, PJ & Associates has provided our housekeeping services. They are trusted with keys, codes and other sensitive information and we have NEVER, EVER had a breach of that. As for their thoroughness - they are the BEST in the area - bonded and insured - not to mention the area's oldest surviving cleaning company. Beware of those who "enter and exit" the housecleaning business because they lost their job or are just looking to make some extra money without adequate training. PJ & Associates trains their crews with the best and safest procedures. Are things sometimes missed? Sure ... what business doesn't have glitches? But their track record is pretty amazing and I should know after 25 years. read more

I would not recommend PJ and associates . They are the worst . They did not show up for a scheduled cleaning and I had to refund money to my guest. I paid them extra to winterize my cabin they did not do it and my pipes broke and they did not even offer me the money back that I paid them for the job they did not do. I needed to have my cabin cleaned before Labor Day. I couldn't find anyone bonded except PJ and Associates. Pam came out to give me a quote. Very pricey, but I scheduled the cleaning. 3 gals showed up on time. I was there to see what they were doing for the $ I was paying. Although Pam wrote to clean the refrigerator, I had to request this. Bottom line, I was completely satisfied with the deep cleaning. Cost was $425 for 3 gals to clean a total of 12 hrs. read more

I have been using PJ & Associates for a least seven years and have been very happy with them. They have bent over backwards for me in the past and when last-minute cleanings for my vacation rental are scheduled and cannot be accommodated by the crews, the business owner herself (Pam) has come out to clean my place. I have never received a complaint regarding the cleanliness of my rental and am in fact writing this review specifically because I just received a call from my current guest who is very pleased about the cleanliness of my cabin. I use PJ & Associates no less than forty times a year and have never been disappointed. From the owner herself, to Eileen who schedules and manages the cleaning of hundreds of homes, to the cleaners who do the work to keep my vacation rental in great shape, I have only praise for this company. read more

I do not recommend this company. They do not follow through with what the owner says. Showed up late for first meeting. The crew did not clean the house the way she told me they would. I am very disappointed in the total service, and did not follow through with what we discussed as a total cost!! Just awful read more

Terrible experience, I do not recommend. I employed PJ & Associates at the end of a difficult pregnancy and kept them on after because of injuries sustained during the birth. Narcotic drugs were prescribed to me postpartum. I choose not to take them and left them in my medicine cabinet. After one of the scheduled cleanings I went into my medicine cabinet and noticed the top of the narcotic drug bottle was not screwed on properly. Something I am very conscious of because I have small children. I looked at the bottle and there were only 2 pills left in it. Before there were 10 pills. I immediately contacted the owner and she did not believe me, claiming there is no way anyone from her crew could have done taken them. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, she turned it around on me and said I must have misplaced the pills or my toddler children took them! On top of already feeling totally violated, I was left completely shocked and insulted by the way the owner handled the situation. The facts are that there were 10 pills in my medicine bottle before her crew came in and 2 after they left. No one else was in my home. I had no problem with PJ & Associates until this event occurred. A police report has been filed. read more
