Any other service shop would have just replaced starter and charged me an extra $700.00 but Hamlin and Sons tried something different, carefully disassembled cable, cleaned post and voila, starter repaired. My car had to be towed in for the estimate. This was arranged quickly even though my insurance informed me there were delays with auto body work. Everyone from the phone calls to the reception area were extremely friendly. The tow driver gave me updates so that I didn't have to stay home for most of the day awaiting his arrival. They answered my questions without showing annoyance. Let me tell you, I can speak a bit too much at times so that's not an easy fete. I highly recommend Rays if you ever need body work done to your car. Or if your are in a car accident and need repairs.

The parts were promptly ordered, painted, assembled and in a short time I had a text stating our car will be ready. Tried them twice for service and not good. Dont recommend…read more The first time I brought my blazer in for a service light which was my emissions pump , I have bumper to bumper so it was covered. I make the apt tell them what it is cause it was diagnosed, I drop the car off to get a call back that they don't have the part they need to order so I can pick up the car or leave it. I left it no biggie we have another. I called for an update at 1130, they said the guy was out to lunch and he's call as soon as he's back. I called again at 3 as I never got a call back. I was told car is good and went to get it. I get in and start it and the light is still on. The advisor goes oh maybe they didn't put ot in right. Sure enough, they had to reinstall. Why wasn't this checked prior? Waited another hour then got my car. Today, brought my car in for an oil change only an oil change.... They ended up rotating my tires which irritated me as I just did this at my garage. Had they said they were doing this I would have said please don't. I have a system I follow. I also opted out of the filters as I do those myself and a damn good thing cause had they changed the filters my oil change would have been 300. This is insane. I have been to my primary dealership and my oil/filters is 1/2 that price. Service not good and sadly I was hoping it would be as they are close but I'll keep going to my main dealer which I won't name here
