Encompass Enclosures was hired by me in May of 2021 to extend the lanai on my residence at 30…read moreAuberry Dr, Palm Coast, Fl After only 17 months, I noticed two cracks in the cement floor which run the length of the concrete that was laid down by Encompass Enclosure subcontractor. I notified Jeff Knapp of the situation a month ago. He asked me to send photos, which I did and have not heard back from him at all. From the very beginning of this project Jeff has shown an unprofessional attitude toward my project. He thought it was not necessary to come and view the site where the lanai was to be extended. This decision cost the project 3 weeks when the equipment arrived months later and found they could not get to the site because the equipment was too big and the access too small. He gave me a completion date of October. At the end of December the project was completed. One week before I returned with my family. He did not even meet the time frame. After the job was completed and we had the first big rain, my new lanai flooded because there were no weep holes. When I called him to come over, he tried to say it was my fault because I had the floor painted. He tried to say he would not take responsibility if he drilled the weep holes. Now the concrete slab is cracked after only 17 months and he is showing the same indifference that he always shows. He had an attitude when I asked for the garbage left by his workers be removed. There were boards with nails sticking out. It took days before someone came. I paid $9,000 for this job which may be chump change to Jeff but I am a widow and this project was so that my family could come and enjoy their visits. I asked Jeff Knapp to give me the name of the construction company and I would deal with them directly but he has ignored my request. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will also contact the Chamber of Commerce and will post a complaint on every site I can find. Dealing with this company is the worst. Every time I hear him on the radio I turn him off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Outstanding Dock Builder in Palm Coast! After purchasing our…read morehome in the F-section in 2019, we knew at some point that we'd have to make an investment in doing "something" with our dock... since it was a poor state of disrepair... limited to no maintenance since it was built in 2003. The deck was deteriorated, unwrapped pilings that had shipworms and/or totally rotted out, and electrical service was under water several times a year. I had contacted some well-known dock builders in the area... the first one shared his approach to addressing my needs, but couldn't begin work for twelve months, the second company suggested the use of snapjackets (filled with hydraulic concrete) to address the pilings and to replace the decking and support boards. When I had NewWave come out, they assessed the situation, and suggested a more aggressive approach where all of the existing dock components would be removed... and essentially building a completely new dock. I worked all the numbers, and this solution was the decided solution! I couldn't be more thrilled with the work done by NewWave Marine Construction here in Palm Coast, Florida. From the very first consultation to the final touches, their professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were absolutely top-notch. They walked me through the design options, made smart recommendations based on my property and needs, and delivered a dock that's not only beautiful but built to last. The owner, Sal Bisulca, was involved at all stages of the work. The crew was punctual, respectful, and kept the job site clean throughout the entire process. You can tell they take pride in their work--every board is perfectly aligned, the materials are high-quality, and the final result is truly stunning. (As we were going to contract, we decided to add a boathouse.) My new dock has completely transformed my waterfront space and has become the highlight of my property. If you're looking for reliable, skilled, and honest dock builders in Palm Coast, I highly recommend NewWave. They exceeded every expectation, and delivered a product I'll enjoy for years to come. Five stars all the way!

We were very disappointed with our experience with Bobby Caraway of R.C. Irrigation and Repair…read more Shortly after moving into the area we called in R.C. Irrigation to review our system and make improvement suggestions. Bobby Caraway recommended replacing our 7 front yard Rain Bird mini sprinkler heads with higher flow heads. He quoted a not to exceed price of $510 parts and labor. When we said that that the price seemed high he responded that if the job went smoothly the price would be reduced based on the actual time spent. When he finished the job in an hour we asked for a price reduction. His response was to take $10 off the price. We asked for an itemized bill explaining how this simple job cost so much. He charged $23 each for 9 sprinkler heads replacing 7 mini heads and for some unknown reason 2 full size working heads. For labor he charged $75 an hour for three hours labor. Three hours???? That is how long Bobby said he worked on changing our sprinkler heads. Changing sprinkler heads is not brain surgery. It is only slightly more difficult and time consuming than changing a light bulbs. You unscrew the old head, screw in a new one and if necessary make a few simple adjustments. He arrived at our house at 10:30AM and was finished at 11:30AM. Bobby vehemently claimed that he was at our house for 2.5 hours which he rounded up per policy to 3 hours. In response to our additional complaints about the pricing for the job they reduced their price by an additional $40 bring our total bill to $462 which still was very high for what should have been a $75 labor charge and under $100 for parts. Additional notable comments: 1) In response to our comment that the new heads sell for $9 each on Amazon he said that he didn't care if the heads only cost 10 cents each his price was $23 each. 2) Re ST John's County water usage restrictions he said that if we did not want our grass to die in the summer we should ignore the water usage rules. 3) Finally he said that they might be expensive but they did excellent work. It was not excellent work---they left holes in the lawn where they installed new heads.
