I'll throw another five-star review on the pile for Fernando and the team at Ultimate Auto Body…read more Fernando is a meticulous auto-body specialist who is courteous, helpful, and has a high ethical standard. When my car was side-swiped in a parking spot, he worked with me to find a convenient time for the repair, and coordinated with insurance, the rental car company, and me while I was traveling out of state, making the process easy and painless. He outsourced part of the detailing work, which resulted in a tiny dent on a panel, which I completely missed. I would have happily rolled off the lot but he made sure to flag it, and scheduled a quick return so he could make it perfect. I hope I won't have much need for autobody repair anytime soon, but if I do I'll be happy to take it back to Fernando. He's a pleasure to work with.

There are some things in this world that we, as humans, just do not deserve. Peanut butter and…read morechocolate.. sleeping in a freshly-made bed.. and if you drive your car anywhere more than 5 minutes a day.. you do not deserve AutoSavvy Solutions. I found AutoSavvy through a random google search of nearby auto detailers. I was looking for a ceramic coating for my brand new 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE. All of his reviews were good! After asking for a quote I came to find out that the owner is connected to some former coworkers of mine. This gave me peace-of-mind that Dane (the owner and guru of AutoSavvy) would do a good job - if for no other reason, than those personal connections. Boy, was I wrong. Dane didn't do a "good" job on my car at all. Dane did an AMAZING job. My brand new car- straight from the dealership with under 1,000 miles on it, already needed a paint correction. He did that, plus a 6-year warrantied SystemX Ceramic Coating (that also goes onto my CarFax report!). Everyone. Was. Jealous. It's a good thing that ceramic coating is hydrophobic and causes liquids to just ROLL OFF the surface of the car, because the amount of drool that came leaking from my friends, neighbors and coworkers' mouths as they stared at this red-and-black rocketship, would have been quite annoying to wipe off. If you're anywhere within a day's drive of the New York City metro area, you owe it to yourself to bring your car here. And do not be fooled. Yes, his shop looks like a regular residential garage, in a regular house, in a regular neighborhood of New York City.. but much like the Wizard of Oz, once the garage door goes up - you get to see the fantastically spotless, brightly-lit and well-organized shop space that Dane has built into his family home. When you get someone to work on your car, you want it to be someone who has passion. Dane has passion. He cares about his work, he cares about his reputation and he cares to make sure each customer feels important. AutoSavvy also does mobile detailing, washing, interiors... all of it. And although I only sampled the first item on the menu - I don't doubt I'll be back for dessert. Finally, I will say that the first night I had my freshly-ceramic-coated dream wagon... I managed to drive past some kind of muck spray in Manhattan (liquid concrete, maybe?). Terrified that I might have just screwed up the finish, and knowing I couldn't wash the car for a week- I texted Dane. He told me to bring the car by after work. Within 15 minutes he figured out that the "grit" would wash off easily (thank you to the ceramic coating) and he proceeded to hose down my entire car AND DRY IT, and wouldn't take a dime for his time. THIS, right here, is what I call customer service. The grit that somehow defiled my new finish was NOT his fault, it clearly was my own.. but he took such pride in the job that he went ahead and took care of it for me without an appointment, and without hesitation. THIS is the type of person you want working on your car. You do not deserve AutoSavvy Solutions... but you damned well better call them and make an appointment. Save the $10-30k you'll spend on a new car.. and get the car that you have right now PROPERLY CLEANED. For a MUCH smaller price- you'll feel like you're being handed the keys to a brand new car, every single time. If you do contact AutoSavvy - tell him Dave sent you.

VERY UNRELIABLE BUSINESS!!! NO-SHOW!!! My entire day was wasted!! ZERO STARS!!!…read moreThis was my first attempt to try this business, because the previous owner sold the business to the current owner. After going back & forth with the owner, trying to schedule for almost two weeks, I called him yesterday to see if he can detail my car today. He said they could be to my residence between 2-3PM. I agreed that the time would work for me. He called me at 11:10 AM to say that they could be here between 12-12:30PM. I told him to make it 12:30; he agreed. Since I live in an apt bldg, I texted him at 12:20PM just to let him know I was waiting in my car at the front entrance to my building. No response! I waited until 12:45PM and texted to ask for his ETA; he texted back that they would arrive at 1:05PM. His worker called me at 1:02PM to tell me that they were stuck in traffic and they would be here in 45 minutes!! A bit unrealistic; traffic is not that heavy around 1PM, but I just said OK. WELL, NO-SHOW! NO CALL OR TEXT... AND WORST OF ALL... NO APOLOGY!!! I called the owner's number and his worker's number at 2:00PM; both calls went to voicemail! I then texted the owner to let him know that he wasted my entire day. He then texted back that he's in class and he asked ME if his worker was having trouble finding me? I would not know because I wasn't advised! I had two problems with that text... The first being that the owner lied to me, because he previously told me about a week ago, that he has classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Well, today is Wednesday and he texted that he's in class! My second issue is that he told me that HE and his worker would both be working on my car, and gave me no indication otherwise! Save yourself the aggravation and find another detailer to work on your car! And don't be fooled by all the phony reviews; his own worker, Zain, gave a 5-Star review! Yelp doesn't recommend the phony reviews for good reason! Kudos to Yelp for detecting the deception!
