Amazing vet office! They actually care about your pet. Saved the life of my kitten years ago and now treats all of my animals. I like how you can walk in and get seen the same day or drop off. Highly recommend read more

Customer service there is non-existent. I was charged $19.00 for claw trimming that I did not ask for and didn't get. The vet trimmed only one black claw on my dog ...and when I contacted Renee, the office manager, to get a credit she kept arguing with me. She was rude and aggressive, asking me who my last vet was and how much they charge. She finally said she'd call me back which she never did. I posted a review online yesterday..she responded to the review saying it wasn't her; she'd have given me a credit! She told me to call and actually denied it was her...I recognized her voice and I remembered her name. Again arguing, she asked why I waited 4 mo to post a review. She said she'd ask around to find who I'd talked to and call me back or email. She hasn't yet contacted me. The clinic has lost the business of 2 dogs because of this rude, unprofessional behavior of the clinic manager. Imagine treating a retired senior like this. I called back yesterday and was told by the less than friendly receptionist after a long hold...' Renee is on a conference call, she'll call you back (of course she never did.) Notice Wade B.'s review here. We liked Dr. Truitt, but The level of customer service I experienced was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

I do not write reviews but I had to write this one. I had my cat boarded there for about six days. I left her favorite pillow for her to sleep on. When I went back to pick her up, I was ask to come back to put her in her carrier. I could not believe how horrible the cages were. I saw her pillow on top of some things and it was never put in the cage with her. The cages were so small the pillow would not even fit. Susie was so upset when I got there to pick her up. She was screaming like I had never heard before. My heart was broken. It took many days for her to get back ti normal. She will never be boarded at Ozark ever again. I know there are better places than Ozark Vet. Dr. Wade Bridges. read more

No appointment needed. Ha!! Called in with an emergency. Cat falling over, trouble breathing and can't walk. There answer? Try to find someone else. We're too busy. Time to find another vet that can take care of my animals when crisis hits. read more

This place saved my cat Jack's life today I honestly thought he was going to have to be euthanized today when I took him there, but he's already showing signs of improvement. Watching Over Whiskers recommended this and even helped me get an appointment. From the vet to all the staff THESE are the most awesome group of pet care professionals I've ever met. Such compassion for humans AND love and dedication to help animals in need made such a difference in Jack's health & life. I can't say enough great things about them read more

I've been taking my Labrador to Ozark Vet Clinic for a couple years now and recently my cat. Hands down best Vet Clinic in the area. The staff is friendly and the vets truly care about your pet. On top of amazing customer service, I have always left there with a resolution to my pets issue. If you love your fur baby do yourself a favor and make Ozark Vet Clinic your primary pet provider. read more

My dog and I were a walk-in due to her vet being booked for the day. It was a busy afternoon but our wait wasn't long to be seen and the staff was professional. They treated my dog and me like we were long time clients and I was very happy with care and attention they gave her. read more

Awesome place! We were visiting from out of town when we thought our puppy swallowed some nails from a box he got into. Everyone from the receptionist to the techs, to the vet were welcoming, kind, and understanding. The service was very quick and thorough. Couldn't recommend more highly! I only wish I had a vet clinic like it where I live. read more

No appointments just walk in. If you have the time to wait its fine... But expect at least thirty minutes. They did not know how to approach my scared retired mill breeder boxer. They told me she was acting like she was mean. She was cowering in the corner... So they decided to find their biggest guy and have him man handle her. No one even attempted to get on her level and introduce themselves. So I decided to find a different vet after that, read more

We were very very pleased with our visit to this Clinic having moved to the area recently. Dr Lin was very attentive. We found the office staff to be very professional and friendly. We found the prices to be very fair. Highly recommend this veterinarian clinic to others! read more

There was a neglected cat that was left outside all the time during bad weather and freezing temperatures. The cat never had adequate shelter or food and water. The cat was always shivering and hungry. It also had an injury on it's face. I would've kept him but I'm not allowed. I contacted watching over whiskers and they referred me to this clinic. They took the cat in within an hour of me contacting. Watching over whiskers will also be giving the cat love, warmth and a home. I am truly grateful. This cat will have love, attention, care, food and warmth. Thank you so very much to the loving people at this clinic and those that work with them. read more

We were VERY pleased with our visit to the Ozark Veterinary Clinic! They worked us right in and we found the office staff to be very friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Linn was AMAZING and didn't seem "rushed" even though it was after the posted closing time. He was VERY personable and we are THRILLED to now claim this clinic as our new care facility for our precious Cairn Terrier. We are new to the area and were concerned that we find the right veterinary. We highly recommend this clinic. read more

Lets see, where do I begin. These people have to be the best vets I have ever met. EVER. Dr Snell and Dr Tucker are two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. The whole staff is great. They make you feel like part of the family from the time you walk in the door. Before they moved into their new building I couldn't understand how they made a living, their prices were so low. Even with the additional overhead of a brand new clinic their fees are still the lowest around. And the service is the best. I have never heard anyone complain about prices or service. The only drawback is that they are so popular there is always a full waiting room. read more

I love this place. The best doctors and staff. Excellent diagnostics without a lot of cost involved. They can supply the meds, do surgery and even the techs helped me out with my dogs, only to discover I had a flat tire. Ted the vet tech changed to my spare tire without hesitation as I was driving long distance. What a crew. I will have to bring a surprise my next visit for them. I have met Dr.'s Rippey and Price and not enough can be said about the compassion and kindness from all of them. Too bad we can't clone their knowledge. read more

Absolutely top notch folks working here. This morning was arguably one of the toughest ones I've had in a few years and the staff at Ozark Veterinary Clinic were just so wonderful, understanding and compassionate. They will definitely go beyond what one would reasonably expect from a veterinary clinic. Thank You so much. read more

After spending several hundred dollars and three visits at another vet for my dog's skin infection, this clinic was recommended to me by the breeder from whom I bought my German Shepherd. Even though, it's a walk-in, no appointment necessary, we didn't wait too long and my dog's skin condition was resolved after one visit. Prices are extremely reasonable for services and products such as flea and tick medications. We are willing to drive 25 miles to this vet when we have several others within 10 miles. read more

The address on google is wrong. They're located on Claybank ave off 231. Turn off 231 at the intersection where Gillands Chevrolet is and they are the second brick building on the left. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Ozark Veterinary Clinic! Every single person who works there is friendly and make you fell welcome and the vets actually care about your pets well being! Before, I was taking my dog to one of the "big" places, and always felt ripped off and like they didn't really care. The results were fine, but the staff was rude and there was always a "follow up" visit. (Another $35!) The doctors at the Ozark Clinic actually use common sense! And if you follow Rick and Bubba, common sense is actually a super power these days!! lol Anyway, even if you have to drive farther, this is the place to go! read more

As a guinea pig owner I can tell you first hand how frustrating to find ANY vet who will see guinea pigs. Ozark Veterinary Clinic sees them. I took my guinea pig to them for breathing problems as well as general lack of energy and not eating much. Dr. Snell (while a very polite and personable guy) knows exactly *nothing* about them. Both vets up there dismissed our concerns, took his temp and gave him a steroid shot and said his lungs sounded fine even though you could easily hear rattling in his chest. I took him back 2 weeks later on an emergency after hours call for the the same issue which had gotten MUCH worse. He attempted to give him a penicillin based anti-biotic which anyone who knows ANYTHING about guinea pigs would tell you is EXTREMELY TOXIC and WILL KILL them. I had to correct him and ask for a guinea pig appropriate anti-biotic. I wasted time and money. The money I could give a flip about, the wasted time caused the infection to become pneumonia which is usually fatal for them. Fortunately I was able to find a vet who knew what she was doing. I can't comment about his knowledge about dogs and cats, though I would HIGHLY suggest you NOT take your guinea pig or other exotic pet to these guys. This happened a month ago and I'm STILL treating my pet for a serious illness that wouldn't have been serious what-so-ever if it was treated correctly the first time. Please guys, if you don't know about Guinea Pigs then do like just about every other vet and state you don't treat him. I still don't know if your negligence and ignorance will have ended up killing my best friend. read more

Since 2009, I have brought my dogs to this vet. They started out being great. This past year that has changed. In October 2014, I took my dogs in for their yearly visit. After talking to the vet and asking her not to give my dogs certain shots at that time, she went ahead and gave them to them. She didn't bother to tell me that my dogs received the shots. Later in March 2015, I called to find out if I could purchase the shots to give them at home instead of paying for a visit. The lady on the phone looked up my account and said I could. She didn't bother to tell me my dogs already had the shots and I didn't need them. I made the trip down, purchased the shots, and again no one told me my dogs already had them and didn't need them. I also requested a copy of my records at this time. Upon getting home, I looked through the records and noticed it said my dogs received the shots in October. I called back to ask about it, and the lady on the phone acted like I was stupid for not knowing they had them. They did tell me that I could give my dogs the shots and I could call them to have it out on record. That was fine with me. October comes around and I called to let them know I was going to give them the shots and they tell me that they can't add it to their records since they weren't the ones to give it to them. They told me that it was my fault this happened and I should have known they had the shots already. They won't refunded me for the shots that I can now not use because I need it on record that they have had them. And on top of this, it took them 5 months to updated the records that my dog was taking different seizure medication (after me asking them to do so every month I went in to pick it up). I understand mistakes happen. It's not the fact that the mistake happened, but they are refusing to admit they were wrong and continue to act like it's all my fault. I can not recommend anyone to go somewhere that is more worried about putting that your dog "has a bad attitude" on their record, but can't get medication or shots right. read more

Dr Snell and Dr Tucker have always taken great care of our pets. I do not mind waiting just to be able to have walk in service. They are busy because not only is it inexpensive, they are very caring with the animals. They even help when it comes to our horses. It is worth the drive to Ozark even if you live several miles out. They will make sure your pets are healthy. They also sell hearguard and advantage at the office, and it is less expensive then the vet we use to go to. read more

I've been taking my animals to Ozark Veterinary Clinic for . . . what? 18 years? 20? A long time, at any rate. I've had exactly one issue in all these years, and it was resolved immediately. No real harm, no foul. Stuff happens, and no one is a mind-reader. Anyway, the clinic has taken care of at least two pet dogs of mine (one to the end of her life), a couple of foundling dogs, and who-knows-how-many cats - most pets, some ferals which needed help. I love the ladies at the front, the technicians, and all the vets. Dr. Ketchum is "my" vet (so you're on notice), and a part owner of the business. She's absolutely wonderful: caring, gentle, treats the humans like humans, and she keeps up with research in the field, so you can be sure she's up-to-date. If you have an after-hours emergency, the on-call vet will meet you at the clinic. The costs are always reasonable for services & procedures (although you may want to shop around for OTC stuff, but this holds pretty much for all vet clinics.) And I'd like to mention something OVC offers which I've never found anywhere else and has meant a LOT to me throughout the years: there is a separate room for euthanasia. It has a sofa, boxes of tissue (a must), and an outside exit so you won't have to go back through the lobby bawling your eyes out once it's over. We've had to use the room a few times, unfortunately. They put you & your furry loved one right in there, and you can just hang out saying good-bye until you feel ready. I'm highly emotional and animals mean everything to me - so that room means everything to me, too. Absolutely consider Ozark Veterinary Clinic for your pets - you won't regret a thing! read more
