He found the perfect lighting in the backyard and took beautiful family photos that we'll treasure for a lifetime. We landed on Duane because we liked his photo style, the light and bright true tone colors. We are not into the moody sepia-tone lighting that seems to be so popular these days and Duane delivered great photos that were to our liking. Duane's prices were very reasonable for the package hours we requested. Unfortunately, Duane was sick for our wedding reception so we missed out on his photos. However, when he called me to break the news, he had already coordinated someone to take his place and connected us. That was very professional and helpful of him. He made sure I didn't panic and also sent me a recap of our conversation via email so I would be able to contact the new photographer. Duane is very calm and casual, so he is easy to work with, do not mistake his calm demeanor, he knows what he is doing and was great at posing us and making sure to get the best angles. I don't dress up, I don't do makeup, and I don't pose for photos. This should have been a nightmare for me and I almost did panic thinking about it but Wendy and Allen made the whole process fun and painless. I felt like a guest at their in home studio while Wendy worked her magic doing my hair and makeup. Later, I got to "play" with the camera while Allen used his expert eye to get my best side and Wendy directed him in poses. I didn't feel as though I was just standing in place posing for photos. Their lively fun banter combined with the photo shoot made it all a fun process and the end results are really where it paid off. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. I am beyond amazed and personally think this is the best I've looked and perhaps, the best photos of me. Not only are Wendy and Allen masters of their craft while working in their studio; they do an amazing job editing photos and letting your best self shine through.
