Dinned here last night and it was amazing! Also had the carpaccio which melted in our mouths. For entree we had the wagyu filet which was perfectly cooked, our server was Charles who was attentive and made great cocktails!

I hesitated to come based on reviews, but it was raining.....I'm so glad I came. Nice view & Chic ambience! They started with an amazing shrimp amuse bouche in a fabulous sauce which could easily be a fantastic appetizer. The Grilled Octopus was tender and grilled to perfection, which is not easy to accomplish. The sauce on it was delicious and it came on a bed of multicolor smashed small potatoes. The Oyster fish sandwich had a generous portion of fresh flaky mahi mahi on a brioche bun with a great house sauce and house potato chips - really delicious. The oyster Rockefeller appetizer was spot on....OMG.....must try! Lastly, our server Tania was very helpful and a pleasure.

James our server was ok. I understand they just opened when we were there and the A/C stopped working. They sat us in the sun and did not have blinds for the windows so we had to move. All my food was cold, the Oysters Rockefeller and the lobster/clam linguine. I did not send my food back even though it was cold. I have had way better oysters Rockefeller. The pasta dish is no way worth $67.00. My husbands filet was over cooked and they had to make him another one.

The restaurant has a wonderful view and the setting and ambiance are great. The hostess, servers and manager ( Sara) were all very attentive and helpful in selections. The food was delicious. The entrees are aka La carte and side dishes are large enough to share for 2-3 persons. I had the sea bass, the sauce and fish were delicious. This is the second time I've had this dish here and it was as good as I remembered. We went with family and all shared some dishes. We started with the crab cakes for apps. Then for dinner, the chicken dish my wife had was very flavorful and my son's wagu steak and lobster was top notch! I noticed the menu is evolving. They added some handheld items that are more economical ( a fish sandwich and a wagu burger) which we did not try as we were there to celebrate and splurge a bit. My daughter in law loved her vegetarian dishes. She had the eggplant croquette ( she said it was delicious) and the burrata, which I tried and greatly enjoyed! For dessert we shared the crème brûlée ricotta cheese cake like dish. It was very yummy. Also their deconstructed key lime pie! A favorite of mine and the portion is fairly large. Overall it was a 5/5 on atmosphere, service and flavors. We will definitely drive the 25 mins to Palmetto to eat here every time we come to stay on Anna Maria Island.

It's hard to describe the perfect feeling of contentment I get after eating at Oyster River. Their service is very specialty and high end. This was the perfect place for a family meal but would also be perfect for a girls night out. Their staff is so helpful with questions, their menu is evolving and always 10/10. I especially loved that it was vegetarian friendly and their desserts are amazing.

Finally, fine dining in Palmetto North of the River. Wagyu carpaccio was amazing, wagyu filet was so tender and seasoned well, King Prawns cooked just right. Loved the risotto. Great service by Tania our server. Carrot cake at the downstairs bar after dinner upstairs was ok, I've had much better, but that was the low. A great experience! We will be back for certain. Views are really nice, hotel is nicely appointed. Clearly the best fine dining in the area and I've tried all of them.

The Pearl- delicate, airy and sweet

This place.... Is an absolute hidden gem. We went expecting a normal hotel bar experience but were delighted to find a new favorite! The whole thing feels like visiting family who genuinely love a culinary adventure. Beautiful location with tasteful decorations and amazing views , mixed with probably the happiest servers and staff I've ever met makes for an absolute treat. Our hostess, servers -heck, even the management were attentive and bright-eyed/bushy tailed and happy to help and answer any questions. Our server was James and he was an amazing server (though I'm not sure server covers it- he was a culinary guide, comedian , host and friendly face all on top of server. Total rockstar!) The food was delicate, flavor rich, carefully prepared and on par with some of the highest rated restaurants I've ever been to. This spot will be award winning in no time so get your reservations in now! We will 110% be returning time and time again and I hope it never changes.

An overall great experience from start to finish. We checked in with Stephanie who escorted us to the elevator and gave some great recommendations. Our server, Tania and her assistant Gabriel were awesome. We started with the King Prawns and Oysters Rockefeller were superb. For the mains we went with the Wagyu Ribeye and the Poulet a la Oscar. The presentation and flavor Both exceeded our expectations. Half way through dinner, the Chef, Anthony Castro, came out to check on us and was super friendly and sincere. A little pricey but the food quality and service is worth it. A perfect sunset view. We will definitely go back.

The storefront is nothing special at all, you order from a big tablet screen and then they have standard fast-casual seating. It doesn't look fancy at all and the restroom situation is weird (you have to go outside through a back alley for the men's restroom?). The workers were nice but I was only hoping for "solid" food. Then I took my first bite of the mixed-shwarma sandwich, and it was sublime. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned tender meat, they press the pita with just the right amount of salad/pickles, so the pita is crunchy and the meat isn't overwhelmed with too much salad like so often happens. Their house fries were spiced deliciously and fried fresh (which makes us want to try the Falafel, which we also saw them frying fresh). The food was *fantastic*, making it one of those diamond-in-the-rough places that you'd never guess had such good food. We're looking forward to going back and trying more on the menu, highly recommend if you're near UTC mall.

The food was solid, your typical Mediterranean cuisine but I will say it's a bit on the pricey side if you're just trying to grab a quick lunch. The tabbouleh parsley was chopped a bit larger than I personally prefer. I usually like it more finely chopped, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. Service was quick and the food came out fast, which I appreciated. There's limited seating inside, so it seems like it's set up more for takeout than dining in. Overall, a good spot. Just keep the pricing and seating in mind depending on what you're looking for.

A quick Google search did not disappoint. I happened to be right across from a beautiful shopping center and spotted this stunning Greek restaurant. Mediterranean cuisine is my absolute favorite, so I was immediately excited. The only catch? I was cutting it close. They close at 9:00 PM on Thursdays, and I was just seven minutes away with about 30 minutes to spare. I decided to take my chances -- and I'm so glad I did. I sat at the bar and was warmly greeted by a very kind and welcoming bartender. I ordered two glasses of Pinot Grigio and an incredible platter with hummus, chicken skewers, olives, and sliced meats. The platter looked intimidating in the photo, but it's absolutely manageable for one person -- just be warned, the pita bread will fill you up quickly! Even though I felt a little guilty arriving close to closing and staying a bit past 9 to finish, the staff never made me feel rushed. If I hadn't felt bad about the timing, I absolutely would have ordered dessert -- and probably an espresso martini to top it off. Now I know for next time I'm back on the West Coast. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with a classy, upscale feel -- even though I showed up looking like I had just survived a road trip (because I had). There's only so much glamour you can maintain after three hours in the car. I highly recommend coming here for dinner and then walking around the shopping area afterward. It's exactly my kind of shopping destination -- you truly have everything you could think of in one place. I just wish we had something like this closer to home.

I told her I wanted to sit outside so I could have dinner and read a book with a glass of wine. She told me it would be about 20 minutes and suggested I go to the bar. Once inside, I was greeted by Corey, who entertained me with a vibrant wine list and a quick tasting before selecting a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. As my wine was being poured in a delightfully elegant wine glass... Carolina told me my table was ready. They put me in the perfect spot for people watching. My server was Rachel, who shared the night's special offerings with great aplomb. I am not usually a Wagyu person, but I thought why not, yolo. I paired it with the cauliflower. But to kick things off,..I did the focaccia. The meal was so superb. I immediately texted a friend of mine and said we had to come back the following evening. Again with the Wagyu and the focaccia. Sue me, I'm a glutton for delight. My friend had the seafood linguine.... Which in keeping with the theme was exemplary. Our server for night two was Kyle... Who anticipated I ever need. We had a variety of martinis and ended the evening with a fancy coffee that included a rock sugar spoon. This is my new go to when I visit St. Petersburg. I ended up sitting there for 40 minutes before I left with our food. When they had me pay, I noticed they messed up the order and swapped the chicken entree for the gyro entree. So I had to wait for them to fix it. She apologized and gave us extra baklava to make up the difference in price, but after I got home and looked at the menu, I should have owed her more money rather than them giving me extra baklava. Other than the cluster of picking the food up, we thought it was all delicious. The portions seemed on the smaller size for a platter that supposedly can feed 2-3 people but with our extra entrees, it was the perfect amount for us. The hummus was great with the warm pita, the meat was all flavorful, and the baklava was a great way to end the meal. The "salad" that comes with the Sultan Feast isn't really a salad but just a few cut up veggies. Overall, I felt bad for the 2 ladies running the front alone because they were very busy and they kept apologizing for the wait times. The food was great though and we would definitely order it again.
