He always comes through with great buyers, fair deals, and you can tell he actually cares--not just about the sale, but about building real relationships. I'm really grateful for everything he's helped me with. If you're in CDM and into watches at all, Ivan is 100% the guy to go to.

I called the store and spoke with Ivan who told me he was actually going to receive a shipment of the exact watch I was looking for that day and kept me updated with its arrival and pictures of the product. When we were finally able to arrive to the store to purchase the watch, you can tell this guy has a true passion for watches - since it was my husband's first time piece, you can hear the excitement in his voice and see the gleam in his eyes when he was fitting the watch for my husband's wrist and while speaking about his own personal experiences. The communication, follow up, and customer service were excellent from start to finish. We'll definitely be back when my husband is ready for his next piece, and unfortunately for me, it sounds like it might be soon haha. Thank you for everything Ivan!

While they were able to fix it the cost I was quoted was $65. That is significantly higher than what I was expecting however when you're in a pinch and you need your glasses you have to do it! I was also quoted a max of one hour needed for the service so I grabbed some lunch. After an hour and a half I still haven't received a text saying that I was ready for pick up so I went in and it was pretty obvious that it hadn't been started yet because after that, it was done in about five minutes. I completely understand if busy that things might take longer, but realistic timeframe should be given, especially when you call it fast fix, and I'm pretty sure it would've been even longer because they only started working after I went in.

I went in to have a bracelet adjusted, and during the process, they ended up damaging my bracelet. I was initially told it would take about one hour, but it turned into a 6 hour ordeal with a lot of waiting and back and forth communication. In the end, I was charged $75 for the adjustment, and the bracelet was left in worse condition than before. The repair was poorly done, and I now have to take it to another jeweler to fix the damage they caused. For the amount of time, money, and frustration involved, this experience was not acceptable. I would strongly recommend being cautious before trusting this location with your jewelry.

Here's why. Show me some hands, ladies (and gents). How many of you confidently leave your precious diamonds for 2 LONG days to a stranger or just about ANY jewelry store for cleaning, metal rhodium plating or repair? I betcha, 101 out of 100 Yelpers wouldn't. This is one of the reasons why we're on Yelp! We're thorough RESEARCHERS (and ambassadors) who effortlessly do deep dives before trying out new venues or service repair facilities, right? Personally, I do my due diligence (thanks to OTHER Yelpers' experience with a specific facility), and make my decision based on that - in addition to many other factors. If you're like me, I checked out 28 (yes, you read that right) TWENTY EIGHT different jewelers from downtown LA to Rancho Santa Fe to Palm Springs. I was turned off by other jewelers' below par customer service, whether it's lack of empathy, or sincere desire to convince you that you're not just seeing things or being delusional. And it paid off. Aysel, the owner, was more than a great and compassionate listener. Aysel understood my needs...it was almost as if we've known each other for decades. She reassured me that my precious little babies would come back super clean, shinier than ever, brighter than my smart husband, AND that rhodium plating will not hurt the diamonds (which was a big concern of mine, only because I didn't know if it did since I'm not a professional jeweler). Btw, if you need to retighten your stones to your ring's metal clasp, they do that too. I'll probably bring it in next year for an annual physical checkup, just like my aging 60 y.o. body that requires some fine tuning every now and then to ensure it's performance is as brilliant as my wedding ring! Now, just like in life, anyone can talk things up but my Momma always told me, "the proof is in the pudding." I wish I took a before and after photo so you can understand why I was impressed with their work.
