Theatre was warm but I honestly think it was due to the sell out crowd. Due to the table set up - you felt close to everyone around you. It doesn't make sense that the tables do not face the stage - it makes it uncomfortable. We were seated with ppl not in our party - they were friendly but not enough space. The play was great - live music was a fun edition. Overall a good experience and will definitely come again. We will just be more strategic where we sit.

Although a staff member told us there was no elevator to the upstairs level. However, at the end of the show an elevator was spotted. The bathrooms and inside the theater were very clean. Seating was good as far as being able to see the performance but, not so great for some of us with a little extra weight. Lol Overall experience was wonderful and I would return to this theater.

People coming home from going out can't find a parking space anywhere near their home. They have to walk several blocks in the dark and rain. And the people coming out of the play won't even look you in the eye when they get in there cars because they know what a douche bag they are for taking all the parking spaces in front of every home for blocks. My poor mom is 70 years old. She likes to go out to the grocery store on the weekend and when she comes home she can't find a parking spot anywhere near her home and she carries her groceries for blocks. She's going down to the borough office Monday morning file a complaint because it looks like this is zoned residential and she's going to apply for a handicap space.

Comparing the cost to see these shows on Broadway in NYC versus here closer to home it was a package that made sense. We LOVED having the same seats for Hamilton, Beetlejuice, Ain't Too Proud, & Pretty Woman. Our seats were my favorite, but you can't have a bad seat. I've seen shows from Orchestra to back row Balcony in the past. Given the age of the theatre & how theatre seating is so very tight (esp in nyc) , Hershey Theatre is comfortable. I try to picture the long, full elegant gowns worn to the theatre back a century ago & I can't imagine how it could have been comfortable! But if those women made it through a theatre night, I certainly can too. For this theatre season, the air & heating systems seemed a problem for me. It was blustery cold outside but to warm & stuffy inside so it was a challenge to figure out how to dress appropriately. They never started on time. I don't know if it's the opening door time, enhanced security, or the show tour itself but time management seemed to be an issue this season at the Saturday 2pm shows. Snacks and drinks are provided for a reasonable fee. Regular care & maintenance was maintained to the rest rooms. And everything else people like to know about like parking & wifi plus the heating & cooling system is getting work done in 2025 so save your $$$ and get ready for an EPIC return to theatre when Hershey Theatre re-opens their doors after renovation!!!

This was the first time we went to this venue. You are not permitted to drink or eat inside the theater. They did have drinks and food, but we did not see that area. They check your bags. There is plenty of street parking around the building. We went on a Saturday. You do not have to pay. The parking signs are for the work week. There is a parking garage across the street from the venue(pay). The bathrooms were clean. The venue was very nice and spacious. Air conditioned.

Ushers were very pleasant and helpful. Great views and Great music really enjoyed the way the Conductor explained the music and actually did some improv to make it even more fun. Maestro Stuart Malina conducted a great show a great show that was fun and entertaining not only for adults but also for the youth!

They are upbeat, enthusiastic and endlessly patient with little ones. The ladies who work the desk are warm, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. It has been great to see young ladies who 6 years ago were students; now come back to teach and choreograph. And most of all, anyone who has ever seen either their June show or their professional quality Nutcracker knows that their dancers are amazingly talented and dedicated. We hope to dance here for years to come.

The Gordon Center for Performing Arts was a very nice theater to see a musical artist perform…read moreacoustically. I planned a weekend away with my wife to see Luca Stricagnoli. He's a guitarist from Italy and plays a three neck guitar, look him up on You Tube! His fingers are almost alien like how he hits those cords! I'm not sure where Owning Mills is but I have a car with navigation so I'll figure it out. I always have a little push back, the security guard checking everyone's vaccination status (who has a gun on his belt??) says my NY state Vaccine card on my cell isn't recognized. I tell him to get his boss to come up front. The theater director approached the main doors. I explain I'm from New York and.. "this is how we do it.." (dance break) He says not a problem Bill S. Enjoy the show. Once inside, what a beautiful theater! I purchases the first aisle seat (for guy spreading) second row and I have a great view of the stage. The acoustics were spot on and the lighting for the performance was also professional. Nice job Gordon Center crew! I don't live in the state but it was a pleasure to see a great performance at The Gordon Center for the performing arts.
