My guy surprised me with a balloon ride and it was soo much fun! Definitely sketchy getting there,…read morebut worth it in the end (thank you crew for helping my guy surprise me). This is something we've been wanting to do for a while now, and Compass did a great job of making everything special. The views were phenomenal! The pilot was very knowledgeable and was pointing out what everything was (very helpful for me since I don't know the area very well). This was also during fire season, so we got a cool view of the mountains with a layer of ocean fog and a layer of smoke. There was one other balloon flying the same day, and it was a bit sad to see them going higher than us. They also started before us and landed after we did. The pilot was trying to explain that it's all based on the air and whatnot, but I'm not sure how accurate that is when another balloon is showing differently at the same time. Anywho, I still really enjoyed the whole experience! Few things that weren't great: 1 I went across the street to the gas station to use the restroom before we left, and the van had followed me over there without telling me. A truck or something ended up blocking them, so I walked back across the street to look for them. I didn't have my phone or anything and had to use a stranger's phone to find out where they were. Unfortunately, the stranger also spoiled the surprise that my guy worked soo hard for 2 there was supposed to be some snackies included (cheese, fresh fruit), but we did not get any 3 things felt pretty rushed the whole time we were there Overall, would definitely recommend this to others! I truly enjoyed this. Shoutout to my amazing guy for planning it all!

Absolutely recommend Compass Balloons--10/10 experience!…read more My husband and I booked a flight to celebrate our anniversary, and it was beyond worth it. This was one of those once-in-a-lifetime, bucket list experiences, and we'll never forget it. Ryan was our pilot and did an incredible job--friendly, professional, and made us feel completely safe from start to finish. The ground crew (Hector, Alejandro, and one other team member) were also fantastic--super helpful and made the whole experience seamless. We've already started telling all our friends to book a flight. Huge thanks to the Compass Balloons team for making our anniversary so memorable!

This was my first time ever being in a small prop plane like this, let alone flying one. An AirBnB…read moreExperience called "Fly an Airplane over LA" popped up and caught my interest, and I'm glad I checked it out. It was a great one-hour experience that was part sight-seeing flight, part introductory flight lesson. Nirvan at The Flight Academy was my copilot/instructor, and did a great job explaining everything and guiding me through the controls and the process. It didn't actually take long to feel pretty comfortable with controlling the yoke to ascend, descend, and bank/turn. The weather was great and the whole thing felt very safe and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I asked for help explaining how to use the application they sent and where to open the information for study that they sent me. I thought I had passed all the tests and didn't know what else was there. As a result, I was accused of not coping with the task. I immediately felt that she hated me. she said that I needed to wear a wedding ring, because because of my attractive appearance, I could lose my job. then she got drunk when we opened wine and champagne and brought alcohol to training in the pool. when I needed to clarify something or repeat it, she brushed me off and ignored me. she put on a show in class and lifted her legs above her head, showing off her incredible gymnastic abilities. She probably didn't like me because I didn't express any obvious ADMIRATION for her tricks and old-fashioned ways of sculpting roses from sausage and avocado. I didn't clap my hands or smile wide enough to satisfy her ego like everyone else did. Then they inflated a rescue slide at school and she screamed at the student to jump on it. the unfortunate student fell down! BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T INFLATE ENOUGH AIR!!!! THE TEACHER PRETENDED THAT NOTHING HAPPENED! It's good that there were mattresses on the ground for insurance. she herself did not jump first. after that I was afraid to jump, and asked if I could just sit down and slid down. SHE MADE me JUMP. then on a video in class they also showed emergency evacuation training. NO ONE JUMPED!! all the people sat down and moved slid down!!!! at the end the school principal talked to me AND EATED!!!! HE DID NOT STOP CHEWING WHILE TALKING! it was disgusting... I did not expect such discrimination in America. this is a paid school and I expected support and assistance in studying I decided to go to another school, which I didn't regret.... thank you for your attention )
