The next time you head out to beach day along Oxnard Shores, be sure to stop in here for any last-minute needs. Store is fully stocked with plenty of snack treats, beer, water, soda, and ice. There is actually a really well-appointed wine section in the back of the store, for all of you wine people. Apparently, this store has been really lucky with the lottery players as well, and made a few millioniares recently, so grab a scratcher on the way out as well. Enjoy the beach day! read more

Great neighborhood liquor store! With a good selection of liquor of course, you can also get basic needs like milk, crackers, gluten free pasta, ice cream and of course, Lottery tickets. They are open 6a - midnight most days, but close earlier (11p) on Sunday's. Plenty of parking and an easy walk from anywhere in the Shores! read more

It's ok for getting corn nuts the snack. But other than that not that good. It's menu is decent but I don't recommend it.

This is no neighborhood store. Merchant nearly tripled the price of a bottle of unmarked wine and then discounted it to be double the price on vivino. Hope they go out of business so an honest one goes in there. Probably are fraudulently using my cc. Wouldn't buy a lottery ticket there with that kind of karma. read more

This store is a complete ripoff. I stopped by to pick up a 12 pack of beer, and when I took it to the counter I asked how much it was, since there were NO prices on any of the beer in the case. The guy behind the counter had a very thick foreign accent and unfortunately I thought I clearly heard him say 22 dollars, which was about the same as I've paid at the grocery store, so I thought nothing of it. He asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no (my bad). When I checked my bank account he had charged me $32 for a 12 pack of beer, which is more than $10 than at the grocery store. I will take responsibility for mishearing him and not requesting a receipt, but I hold this store completely responsible for its unethical and underhanded business practices. Today at 2:45 pm, I witnessed something very disturbing at this liquor store . An obviously, highly inebriated female skinny with short dark hair and a baseball cap on, so at first I thought it was a male, walked into store and back out with a small bag from the store and stumbled into her silver, older model Lexus SUV then pulled out and barely got out of the driveway before she proceeded to open it and take a big drink of its contents. And then, proceeded to drive away. I followed for a minute to get the license plate # but she made it across harbor before I could and into the dunes, off of beachcomber. I lost her. Hell, she could've walked... That was scary. read more

I'm a regular at the Bottle Shoppe because it's a short walk from home. They have TONS of 22oz Beers, lots of booze of all kinds, and a bit of wine, if that's what you're into.... Great place if you need a quick item. Prices are a little inflated but that because of convenience. Compaquito is a cool cat and they're always friendly in there. read more

Be sure to request your receipt when making a purchase from the heavy set guy that works there. This heavy set guy who works there always tries to scam you for extra money. My wife had $40.00 in lottery winners and we stopped here to cash them in, plus buy more tickets. Our purchase totaled $26.00 less $40.00 in winning tickets. Heavy set guy tried to keep $10.00 from our change and tried to cover it up. My wife called him out on the theft and his response was "oh, I didn't give you, your $10.00 change", what a bad seed. This was the second time he has tried this scam. I live close by and won't ever be returning. Stealing is never acceptable..nor excuses to try to justify stealing! read more

It looks like a typical strip mall liquor store , but, in the back, is a micro-brew selection that rivals that of those nit-wits at Bev-Mo. There was at least 100 beers, stouts, and ales that I will go back for over time. The Bottl Shoppe is walking distance from the ocean, which makes it even better. read more
