In about 2 or so hours he cleaned 2 large rugs, a large sectional, dining room chair seats, and a king headboard. The sectional especially looked brighter and the cushions felt more fluffed up afterward. We also had some bubbling in the rugs and the cleaning helped quite a bit with that. The only odd thing I noticed was a slight oily-type smell during cleaning and when walking into the house after leaving and coming back, but it dissipated and none of the actual furniture smells like that. All seemed to go well initially the carpets were ordered and fitted, everything seemed fine. Then I started to get emails saying the invoice was outstanding and I was due money. This was a problem on so many levels but the main one was I did not pay for the carpets and could not go back to the person whose card was used to get proof of payment. What really annoyed me was the lack of remorse shown by the firm, no apologetic emails, just, you are due us money , pay now threats. When I asked the perpetrator of the emails to escalate the matter I got push back! Eventually the matter was escalated and after some email exchanges things went quiet for a few months, I wrongly assumed that Flooring Warehouse has resolved the matter internally or used common sense not to pursue the sum outstanding ..... then threats started again, this time of legal action. Talking to other business owners they said they would have owned the mistake and written off the sum outstanding (50% was paid upfront). Not with this lot, they seem to have little regard for their reputation or the inconvenience and stress caused to the buyer as a result of their own incompetence. Buyer beware, use someone who values their clients and puts the customer above their bottom line. The customer, after all, is always right.
