I stumbled across this place while doing a college tour with my cousin. My glasses broke in my suitcase and I was out of luck! I asked the owner for some help. He was really honest and told me my glasses couldn't be repaired. (The duct tape I walked in with could only last so long!) He helped me to pick an amazing new frame and made my new glasses in less than an hour! The cost was more than reasonable and I found the owner so pleasant to work with. Highly recommend! read more

The doctor had me take out my contacts but didn't lead me to a sink to wash my hands beforehand (very unprofessional). The doctor only gave me a prescription for eye glasses, nothing for contacts, and only half the prescription paper was filled out. When I called back a couple days later to ask for my contact prescription and express another concern I had, the receptionist was very rude. The axis for my left eye was a lot different from my last prescription and when I told him he told me just to stick with the number from the previous prescription. Seems like all they do here is fix glasses, not check eyes. Never going back. read more

As far as we're concerned, there is no better place to get glasses. All four of us need them, and every time we've gone to Tom, he has a pair of frames in mind before we even start looking, and so funny that after trying on dozens, the ones he suggested are the ones we love best! And service is beyond compare, he has saved us from many glasses emergencies, with a smile and great expertise! We've been going to Tom for years, and look forward to many more... read more

I accidentally bent my favorite glasses so badly that I couldn't wear them. They were able to fix them quickly and charged a very reasonable fee even though I bought them somewhere else. I would definitely go back read more

We had a beautiful morning to check out City Flea for the first time! We picked up a cold brew and…read morefresh donuts then people watched as we waited for our family to arrive. Everyone we encountered from attendees to vendors were all friendly and laid back. There were plenty of cool flea market clothing finds but we were mostly attracted to the art, much of which had Cincinnati themes. Our daughter and her boyfriend just moved into a new place, and they got a few pieces of unique art, including a Findlay Market painting, to hang on their walls. Washington Park was well maintained and clean. There were lots of park benches and the shade from the big trees added to the ambiance. The flea market was a great way to spend an hour or so.
