Ok this was going to be a good place on paper but sadly they forgot to build some of it.. Its…read morebrillant for the cinema and bowling, and few choices of restaurants for all budgets.. Tescos supermarket near by.. There is a bingo gala hall as well as the big splashdown experiene. Sadly the ice rink is no longer there. You are suppose to be able to spend the entire day there, but unless you are going to pay big money this is not possible. Planners would benefit in adding a picnic area and kids playground as there is nothing like that available down there, unless you count the new indoor play area for children but again this costs, and adults also have to pay to go in. Quasar type of game is also available in the same building as play area, but again it is pricey.. Tips I can give for locals and holiday makers is the cinema does hold a juniour empire session where for a pound each adults and children can watch a choice of 2 films, which the cinema choose to show, these can sometimes be very recent ones and our shown only at 10.30am on a sat or a sun..

Tower Park lays on the outskirts of Poole and is a multi functional leisure complex contained…read morewithin its grounds is empire cinemas, bowplex bowling alley, gala bingo hall, splash down water park, la fitness gym, to name a few as well as many restaurants such as KFC Burger king, nandos and TGI Fridays. The site has plenty of parking but in school holidays can get busy. This is a great place if you ant to do one or a couple of the activities that are on offer as all are within walking distance of each other. Alongside them is a Tesco extra superstore and petrol station, its worth a look if in the area, just look for Poole's water tower.(For those who don't know it looks like a large concrete wine glass !!!!) Cheers!!!

One I usually avoid if I can help it! This is a review for mainly the beauty department, as the…read moreclothing isn't relevant to me personally. The store is in a great location in the centre of town, so really convenient for browsing or picking up a few things when you're out shopping. Debenhams also offers a great points-based reward card for cosmetics purchases, the Beauty Club Card, giving you a £5 discount for every £167 you spend - there are better reward programs out there but always helpful if you shop here often. The customer service, however, is my main complaint! Most of the time there will be absolutely no-one to be seen at a counter. When I've asked other staff members to help me, even when I know the exact item I want to purchase, they're quite unfriendly and seem like they'd rather be doing literally anything else than serving me and act like my business is a huge hassle and inconvenience to them. Many times I've just gone to buy the same thing in another department store up the road instead! Conversely, when there is someone at the counter, on several occasions I felt like I was being forced into a purchase, as if the staff were completely desperate to get rid of certain products, rather than considering my personal needs or being genuinely helpful. A miserable and stressful shopping experience! Additionally, I would NOT recommend the Benefit Brow Bar at this location! I'd heard so many good things about Benefit and wanted to get my overgrown brows shaped in time for my upcoming holiday, instructing the technician to leave them full with a natural shape, as I only wanted them tidied up. Rather than using the vacant treatment room, she waxed my brows in front of all the customers (and this was quite a busy day) and I noticed a few laughing and sniggering at my discomfort. It was much more painful than any brow waxing I'd ever experienced as she kept waxing the same areas over, and when I looked in the mirror.. nearly all of my brow hairs were gone! Instead of full, luscious brows I was left with two skinny tadpoles and an expression of permanent surprise. I started to cry a little after seeing them and she had the audacity to ask if I wanted to make another appointment! Needless to say I will NEVER go back and had to use so much makeup to make them resemble eyebrows for months afterwards. If you want value for money and a pleasant shopping experience, stay well away! Although Debenhams have a rewards system and sometimes have deals worth browsing in the sales after Christmas, I won't be coming back any time soon. There are other department stores in town selling the same products with far better customer service!

Staff are helpful and unlike some stores the racks are full of different sizes. Well-located in the town centre it is easy to pop in on a Saturday or in a lunch hour and you can always find what you re looking for.
