We called several roofing companies to come look at the issue. One wanted a $250 estimate charge and the others did not return our calls. Guy Brothers not only returned our call, but scheduled an inspection. Brian Dolitch, of Guy Brothers, came- as schedule, inspected the roof- inside the attic- found the issue- did some temporary repair and gave us an estimate to repair it permanently. Denver came out & quoted us & I informed him we were getting 3 quotes before making a decision. He scoffed at this, but I explained we were paying for the roof & not our insurance unless I could get my policy changed to "replacement value". He was aware another company was on their way to give us a quote too. He left & sent us a quote & asked if we could come to the office to check financing options (after I also said I wanted to avoid financing if possible). Knowing my husband had an appointment and would be out of pocket for that, he sent 2 text asking if we were coming, which my husband did not immediately respond to bc he wasn't available and I also was talking to my insurance company about changing my policy to a replacement policy & awaiting their response. Before my husband had an opportunity to respond to tell him this, Denver sent another text (all within a hour and a half) telling my husband to remove Guy Brothers from our potential list of companies. What upsets me the most is that as a business, he found it acceptable to no call, no show for the appointment yet found it unacceptable we were unable to respond immediately when we made sure he was fully informed of our schedule. All of this transpired in one afternoon & the pressure he put on us to make an immediate decision speaks volumes about how the business (& probably their work) is conducted.
