When Kevin arrived on time he explained what he was going to do and put down drop cloths and brought in his equipment. The cleaning was done from the fireplace to the top of the chimney. I do not use my wood-burning fireplace on a regular basis, but it had been seven years since it had been cleaned and desperately needed attention. He even removed the wood I had loaded for my next fire and then proceeded to remove the damper for access to the flu. Within a half an hour everything was done and there was no dust whatsoever in the house. He then proceeded to go up on the roof and check the top of the chimney and found that I had some cracks in the crown of the chimney. He took photographs and explained what needed to be done. I am very pleased with his thoroughness and professionalism and would highly recommend him to anyone in the area.

Do not do business with this company. I contacted them Jan. 12 about my gas fireplace…read moremalfunctioning -- long before the current dangerous ice storm was forecast. The technician came Jan. 16, removed the pilot light and said he would return with the new part. He came back Jan. 19, after the storm forecast. He didn't have the right connection for the new part, but assured me it would be fixed by the end of the week, "even if I have to work on Saturday." On Thursday, he contacted me, said he had the right part, and would be there at 8 a.m. Friday. At 7:30 am, I got an automated message saying my job was canceled. I contacted the tech, who said he knew nothing about it. A short time later, I got a message from the company -- the message was a misfire. But no one would respond or tell me when or if my repair was still scheduled. By Saturday, with the storm bearing down on us, I hadn't heard from anyone. I made repeated calls and messages, to the company and to the technician (704-506-0501). Finally, a man from 888-840-5788 called and told me I was getting a refund. I told him I didn't want a refund, I wanted a working fireplace in an ice storm. He claimed they still didn't have the part, even though I was told Thursday that they did. I would suggest NEVER GIVING THIS COMPANY A CHANCE. I have a handcapped family member, and if the power goes out, I'm stuck. After the storm is over, I'd like to do business with a reputable company, if anyone can suggest one.

The inspection went well and they pointed out some items to keep an eye on but no additional work was recommended at this time. We had a bad clog in our dryer vent. David went in attic and took apart the vent to find the problem. The previous homeowners used nails to secure the dryer vent pipe and these nail penetrated the pipe. The lint was clinging and building up on the nails. He removed the nails covered holes with HVAC tape and secured the pipe without using nails. They were on time, courteous, informative, friendly and very helpful. I recommend this company and plan to use them every year for my maintenance.
