I do realize that Ashland is not a bustling city but shouldn't someone be here getting services too. After sitting at the shampoo bowl and having water and some kind of cream rubbed into my hair, Maria commences to take to my hair with a comb and starts yanking on my hair. I tried to explain that I recently had my hair molded into a bun with gel and she should not try to comb through it. She laughed at me and continued yanking saying it was tangled. Why didn't I just walk out???????? I know, in the end it will be my fault. I should have left, but I stayed. My hair was wet and I didn't want to drive home with wet hair. Later the owners daughter came in and took over blow drying my hair and the owner flat ironed and wrapped it because it was going to rain. I'm sorry but my experience at this salon starting out was not pleasant at all.

Thursday comes, I drive the hour that takes to get there. Arrive on time which is a big deal for me! There are 3 male barbers on the left 3 salon chairs with only one being used to the right. NO One even says good morning! No greeting or offer for help from these 4 professionals of ANY SORT! OK... So I sat down feeling very out of place. Almost unwelcome (its noy like anyone actually did welcome) This is my first encounter with Mines. I wait an entire hour of this one female stylist working on a ladies hair and then after putting her under the dryer and telling another client to come over I ask her does she have me scheduled for 12. She says no and asks the barber as if I am there for a fade!! By this point I was over them. I went to Maria a few spots down who put me in the chair immediately and have me exactly what I asked for!! I would rather give her that money anyway. She is not stuck up and acts like she in the business to make money.
