Temo came out to walk the property and provided a very fair price quote. We ended up putting this project off while waiting for some warmer/drier weather to avoid wrecking the lawn. I finally reached back out, he came for another onsite visit where we added one more small tree and the removal of some bushes. The team at Just For Trees showed up at 9am on the day and got right to work. They were very mindful of removing staked lights, landscape features, and potted plants before beginning their work and the respect for our property was maintained throughout the project. All 3 trees and bushes were removed exactly as requested, and we kept logs from the maple to use as firewood in the future. The team took great care to rake/blow and cleanup the yard/driveway and worked very efficiently/safely throughout the process. I had a terrible experience with this company…read more I called and asked for chips to be dropped off at my house. They didn't tell me they were coming, which would have been ok, except they dumped the chips at the wrong house. My neighbors next door were not happy, and the guys were just going to leave the pile there anyway. I talked to the manager, Tom, and he said he would come and move it. While we were waiting for him to come, I paid a friend's landscape crew to move about two thirds of the HUGE pile. A week later, the rest of it was still there. I called back and Tom said he was going to come and move it the next day. In the course of the conversation, he was very condescending, blamed me for my directions being confusing, and made excuses I gave them the correct address, so if they were confused, they should have called. But they didn't. But he said he would move the pile to where it was supposed to be dumped, so at least he was going to fix it. But guess, what? He didn't show. The pile is still there in my neighbor's yard. I guess I'm going to have to pay someone more $ to come and move the rest of it and send Turning Leaf the bill. I just wish they would have done the right thing and taken responsibility for their mistake.

Yep, we still hadn't taken care of the trees with broken limbs on our property, nor had we trimmed back the trees that were in severe need of it. With the wind storm that hit us a few days ago, we decided it had become necessary, especially given the fact that the huge hemlock in front of our house had numerous broken limbs just hanging in the tree and some of the lower limbs were almost touching the ground. I had called another tree service we had used before and asked them to come out to review the property and they never even returned the call. A property manager friend of mine recommeded Tom with Turning Leaf and I have to say that I was impressed from the word go. He came out and told me which trees were a possible problem and even said that a couple of the trees I thought were a problem didn't need to be taken down. He looked at everything that needed to be done and gave me a reasonable quote. We scheduled a date for the work to be done and his guys, (three of the nicest, most polite guys you could ever wish for) came out on time and worked incredibly hard all day. They did everything we needed them to do and were professional and friendly the whole time while also being very safety conscious. They even cleaned up our walkway (which we hadn't done in months) and swept the driveway! The service was spectacular. I highly recommend Turning Leaf. In a time where customer service is secondary to everything else, Tom and his crew both suprised and delighted us with their fantastic attitudes. The focus became more about racing through the job, cutting corners, and moving on. Then the regular scheduled day for service changed - no notice. Then back to the regular day - no notice, then changed again - no notice. I emailed Owner Jason advising that I didn't care what day he chose for yard service, but it needed to be consistent, or at least get permission before any schedule changes. I advised that having people enter my fenced back yard (by law) needed my permission and, as a former police officer, I wanted to assure safety, for everyone. Jason responded by accusing me of using threatening language and immediately terminated services. No discussion or opportunity for clarification. I asked what he found 'threatening' and that I had hoped to further discuss the matter. Nope. He did not want any further discussion. He refunded has last charge, but in the end, not professional - his way or the highway.
