Turned out to be an easy fix this time but JEFF figured it out quickly and did some trouble shooting for the future. Recommended installation of a new AC capacitor and explained benefits and cost. Did not feel pressured or forced to decide on the spot. Also discussed long term plan to replace whole system and what that would look like. JEFF provided estimates and costs were very reasonable compared to other local providers. Customer service rep, DORENE, made scheduling easy and got me in before my pets and I melted from the heat - lol! She was very pleasant and helpful throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend KOBELLA for HVAC, plumbing and all services they provide!! Great experience!! I won't use anyone else! KOBELLA rocks!

Butchered the second, requiring professional help. Turns out these cartridges should be changed every 5-10 years. Anyway, I won the lottery when Homer Johnson arrived to bail me out. Every step he took was solidly professional, from the removal of the old shower valve to the installation of its replacement, he had all the right tools and 100% of the knowledge to make them work correctly. I was also impressed with his measuring of the closet wall needing cutting open to expose everything. His carefulness in measuring allowed the wallboard piece to be repositioned so it hardly looks like it was ever moved. Anyway, hat's off to Homer and Kobella for making everything like new!

Scott was very friendly and had manners enough to put shoe covers on before entering my house. The opportunity to return the items anonymously without repercussion was extended, but my items have not been returned. * * * * * PERSONAL PROPERTY STOLEN * * * * * The work that was completed was done well enough. They even went above and beyond to work with my existing antiquated utilities. The mess left behind was no worse than that of other tradesmen I have hired (dust, greasy fingerprints, bootprints, etc). One of the men took one of my kitchen towels and used it as a rag without asking. It was then left balled up on the floor. I didn't even bother calling to complain about this, but in retrospect...* * * * This may have been a tactic to draw my attention away from the shelf where my personal belongings were stolen from.* * * * If you hire this company, get the full names of ALL of the workers who will be in your home. Google them before letting them in. If your gut tells you not to let them in, do not let them in. Do not take your eyes off them for a second. Do not allow one worker to distract you while the other(s) are unattended. If possible, place cameras, even around items of no/low value, kids' toys, knick-knacks, etc, even if they are too high up to reach normally. If you do not have video cameras, take before pictures of any room they have access to. Do not allow them to remove trash/debris from your home. What started as a wonderful experience dealing with Burrier has become a source of constant…read morefrustration. They installed a tankless system for us (January 2025), an HVAC heater (September 2025), and a humidifier into the HVAC (October 2025). They quoted me $300 for a valve replacement in writing before changing their mind if they would do the work, referring me to their parent company (Steingass) whose rep Jason came out. I asked Jason for two quotes, one for the one valve and one with an increased the scope, Jason verbally told me he'd quote that but the increased scope would only take a day of work. He then only quoted the increased scope at $3500 for two days of work. I emailed a reply to the quote but it bounced because their quote system doesn't send from an actual email address. Burrier installed the HVAC heating unit back in September but with piping that wasn't properly glued. This caused exhaust leaks into our basement during the winter when it turned on. They sold us a humidifier that doesn't work as promised. Despite multiple trips they initially couldn't find any issue. It was two months later that their installers found mineral buildup that shocked them and said to me that it looked like over a year since the filter was changed. So, we needed the added expense to add a separate water filter line. This was done at an upgraded post install cost. Unfortunately, even with this we still don't get good humidity (19% when set at 50%). Additionally, they scheduled a flush of our tankless system but their first tech who came on site only inspected the humidifier didn't do it. Then, techs came back several times for the humidifier none came with the equipment to flush it. I was told in writing by Tom that Lee would schedule but he didn't. I'm exhausted trying to stay on top of the issues. They don't follow up with me, I have to follow up with them. I have called and left voicemails that haven't been returned by the scheduling department. I have emailed sales. I wish they could have continued to be awesome like they were when we started working with them and hopefully they improve but for now I'm lowering from 5 stars to 2 stars to reflect the new reality of working with them.
