I sent out an SOS on Yelp when my garage door decided to give up on life at 10:00 at night... and…read moreof course, I had no idea what to do. I was stuck, frustrated, and already imagining my car living outside forever. A few companies reached out, but no one could come out right away. Then David messaged me and set up an appointment for the next morning between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. He kept me updated by text and showed up right on time... which already put him ahead of everyone else. He checked out the door and was super honest. Basically, because of how old it was, it could maybe be temporarily repaired, but there were no guarantees it wouldn't break again. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me on a quick fix just to make a buck. At that point, I asked about getting a new door because I wasn't about to invest in a "let's hope for the best" situation. He gave me a quote for a brand new door with windows like my old one, plus a new motor, full install, and haul-away. Honestly, the price was very fair... but of course, I had to do my Yelp detective work and get a few more quotes. After talking to several companies, I came back to David. He matched the other quotes AND threw in an extra year of warranty... I mean, say less. That sealed it for me. He's local, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. Also, he actually shows up when he says he will... which deserves its own 5 stars these days. My garage door broke on Monday, and by Friday morning I had a brand new one installed in about 3 hours. It looks AMAZING. Like... I catch myself staring at it for no reason. Highly recommend. And if my garage ever decides to be dramatic again, I know exactly who I'm calling. Thank you so much for everything, David!

After a brief back and forth he asked me to call him so we can discuss it more on depth. After we went over what I was looking for he was able to give me a quote over the phone. I discussed it with my wife and decided to move forward. It was a Saturday afternoon but David was still able to come out to confirm the measurements of what I would need. Once done the deposit was only $500 which I'm assuming is the cost to order the garage door and the rest was due upon completion of the work. He arrived the day we scheduled right on time and the work was completed almost to the exact estimate of time he gave. The quality of work was great and he has a one year warranty on labor and materials. I feel it was a good value for what I paid and the work that was done. He not only replaced the garage door and motor but also replaced the molding and weather stripping. Everything is now brand new. I would recommend him for any garage door repair or replacement you may need.

TRIED TO RIP US OFF $300! This company was called to my…read moreproperty to repair a garage door that was not working. The guy showed up in a beat-up car with out of state plates. Said the safety sensors needed replacing. He then removed them from their location at ground level leaving all the wiring exposed and installed the new ones by placing them on top of the garage door motor at the ceiling. I guess in case a child decides to run across the ceiling....wouldn't want them to get hurt by a closing door! He then left after a few more "I'm not really a repairperson" errors. Of course an hour later door again does not work. Called the company and explain what's happening. The "manager" is in the background yelling "Tell them we don't give refunds" and then the phone hung up on us. Being elderly we asked a family member to help. He called and was told the safety sensors are NOT REQUIRED by code to be at the door opening where code enforcement requires them. Was told that its ok for them to be by the ceiling in the middle of the garage. During that call the owner of the company refused answering all questions in regard to his license #, what the code is for those sensors, and denied even having a company in our town. Which when researched the address they give on the internet is an apartment complex. We reached out to another company and were quoted a fraction of what these people charged and YES in fact safety sensors are required by law to be hooked to the track at the garage opening about 4 to 6 in off the floor. Seems like garage repair 101 to me, obviously not them. Also, should mention that we were forced to put stop payment on the check as the owner refused to give us an address to come to pick up the check and refused to mail it back. As to the other errors / blunders they made....we won't waste your time any further. Just go call a reputable company and have it done correctly. UPDATE: Please see the reply they left in rebuttal saying we are blackmailing them. COME ON! Any reference to $300 is the amount of the check we had to put stop payment on. The same check they REFUSED to return. Beware as you can see this company is very argumentative and defensive.

Stay away from this company…read more I hired them to come fix my door which came off the track. They sent out a sub-contractor. They charged me 300$ just to put the tension back on the door. Here is the real problem... The guy who came to fix my door wanted to charge me around 800$ extra for parts that the garage door "needed". He was charging me 200$ for 2 lift cable drums, when these are like 25$ tops for a heavy duty. He was also charging me for a garage roller, 40$. This was never agreed to, plus, these rollers are like 25$ for a pack of 10!!!! He then said " don't worry it seems like price is an issue, I won't charge you very much, just don't tell my boss" What the heck?! He then got upset when I told him I didn't want to replace anything right now. Very rude and unprofessional. This sub-contractor was money hungry. My garage door was working perfectly fine, and I had it inspected about 1 month ago, that garage door company said there was no need to replace anything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I'm glad I ended up with Economy Overhead Garage Door getting the work. I also provided the emergency releases. We had excellent experience with Fransisco from Economy Overhead Garage Door and highly recommend them. Fransisco installed a garage door opener, the sensors, and the emergency release lock for a manual hinged old style overhead garage door. I appreciated his professional no pressure approach and answering our questions. He communicated well and was knowledgeable and honest. The installation went smoothly. The place was left clean. Following that I scheduled with him to complete at the same site the installation of two other garage door openers where an installer from another company couldn't get the openers to work right and we left them unplugged, and one where an installer from another company didn't install the sensors, which is dangerous. The three doors also needed emergency releases. This also went smoothly. He also lubed the springs and the hinges on each garage door when working on it which made it easier to operate. The pricing was very reasonable. Francisco also programmed the keypads and the remotes per our needs and tested and showed me everything worked correctly. Francisco had all the tools needed to do the work. (the installer from another company didn't).
