Ended up being complete scam. David spent 40 minutes in total on three rooms and that includes unloading and loading his equipment. Charged us $200 for 20 minutes of work. $60 per room and had to pay $20 extra for a small walk in closet to get that done also. There were a few spots we wanted to get out. After he steamed the carpet the first time all the spots were still there, we asked him to try again and he wasn't happy about it. Everything looked absolutely the same like nothing was done at all. He told us to give it an hour for the carpet to get dry. It took almost 24 hours before we could step on the carpet without getting our feet wet. It was completely soaked and had an awful smell to it. When it finally got dry the next day all the spot from before were still there. And we are not talking about some old carpet in an old house. Our house is less than two years old and 3 out of 4 rooms are barely being used. We called David the same day to ask about the smell and to let him know everything still looked the same. He got frustrated and said he would issue us a full refund immediately. That was the last time we heard from him. Two weeks later no refund. On top of that he made sure we would write a good review about him while he was still in the house. We ended up purchasing a steam cleaner from Lowe's that did a fantastic job and was even cheaper than this guy's so called carpet cleaning services. Blasted us on Google after, putting my character into questioning. No one has problems paying any money if the service is done right. The vacuum used was from the 1970s invest a real vacuum that doesn't stink and take pride in the quality of your work without becoming defensive. read more

Quality of service, an honest assessment, and promptness were the hallmarks of David's carpet cleaning service. I was so favorably impressed with his work (and his taste in music) that I plan to use him again next year. Great job! L. K. Simmer read more

I found Over the Top Cleaning on Yelp and I needed our carpet cleaned on our 2nd floor. David quickly gave me a quote and was priced similarly to other competitors. I decided to go with him and he kindly reserved the day and time. The day before, he sent a text to confirm and on the day of, he was right on time. We have a new house and he even had materials to help reduce scuffing on the corner of our walls. All in all, very professional and great company. read more

I think I "struck gold" with this carpet cleaning service. The owner, David Lew returned my initial call in just a couple of hours, gave me a couple of options and a firm quote and we set a date on the calendar for him to come out. I like the fact that he called the night before - just as a reminder. He arrived on time - with a clean truck and trailer, "booties" over his shoes, ready to work. We walked through the house as he explained everything he could and couldn't do. Again, I liked the fact that David didn't make a bunch of promises . I was working in another room of my house while he was cleaning my carpets. Every 20 or 30 minutes, I'd get up to view the progress. David continued working, but took the time to explain what he was doing, or how the water/steam was working or answer any questions I had. David finished in just a couple of hours - put all his hoses and corner protectors in his truck before finalizing our contract. All in all - I found David to be tremendously professional, extremely knowledgeable and I must rate his service as A#1. I highly recommend Over the Top Cleaning. read more

The mobile home I purchased had carpeting that had probably not been cleaned in this century. David took the time to assess and determine the best cleaning products and equipment. I won't say he is a miracle worker, but the result his work on my carpets was pretty miraculous. read more

David cleaned our carpet in our home and did a great job. He was on time and very professional. We would recommend him.

We were in Ocala, FL to care for our dad after a major surgery. We wanted to make sure that he came home to a bacteria-free environment, as much as possible. I found this service on the internet on a Saturday morning. David Lew called me within 30 minutes after I left a message! We were pressed for time to get things done.He scheduled to come and and provide service two days later! The carpets and tile floors looked like new after his service! This service was an amazing find. As out-of-towners, we were treated like frequent customers. He demonstrated knowledge and expertise of the job he would provide. There is no better service available and pricing is very reasonable. He was also able to provide great referrals for other services for reliable contractors. There is no question in my mind; this is the service to use!!!!!!!! Thanks David! read more

David was very professional, I first chose his company to clean the carpet at our business location, I found him thru great reviews myself. David answered the phone and agreed to come by and give us the quote for the service, he was prompt doing this and his prices were fair, we hired David to do the job & were very pleased with the outcome, after his service we had him come to our home to clean our grout, again a very nice job. Thank you David I highly recommend this company. read more

I currently rent a home in which the carpets were supposedly steam cleaned. After a few months of living with dirty carpets I hired David to clean my carpets. I'm glad that I did. The carpet looks great. It went from dirty tan color to light tan (like it is supposed to be). It would be wise for property management companies to hire David at Over the Top Cleaning to clean floors. He is worth every penny! Remember, you get what you pay for. read more
