I had a taste and saw they had the Birria taco. They also had a pretty a high rating review. So to jump right in ordered that and a smoked mac & cheese, another highly rated item. No regrets from the order. The Birria is FULL FLAVORED SMOKED popping good. It does not lack filling, I think pulled pork, cheese, and other. The family loved it. One kid almost didn't finish one but didn't give up. Then they tried the mac & cheese...I have not had anything like this because others are usually crap. Nice job with the mac & cheese. We stopped at their food truck outside of Tombstone brewery in Chesterfield. I must say, this was ridiculous! The food was incredible. The brisket tacos were so full of flavor and it was topped with feta which I've never thought of doing. It complimented the tacos perfectly. The nachos were an even bigger hit. My wife loved them and she's usually not a fan of barbecue sauce on the nachos. This little introduction to outlaw smoke has me wishing that I can go experience their entire menu. I honestly do not have words to describe my experience with Outlaw Smoke BBQ. My friend and I decided to do a little day trip to a few places I've been wanting to explore. One place on my list was Sage Creek Winery in the little town of Memphis about 45 minutes from my house. To our surprise, Outlaw Smoke BBQ food truck was stationed there. We enjoyed our wine tasting, it was still early, and we decided that we needed to eat a little something, as we had dinner reservations later that evening. We overheard others raving about the fantastic food truck outside so we decided to grab a BBQ Brisket Mac & Cheese to split. They had other yummy options such as pulled pork sandwiches, but everyone said the Mac & cheese was a must try. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! My facial expression was literally an OMG!!!! Opening up the carry out container the brisket was massively overflowing, smothered in delicious BBQ sauce. I was so impressed by the portion of meat on top, many BBQ places scrimp on the meat, but not Outlaw BBQ. It took us several bites to uncover the creamiest, cheesiest, tastiest mac&cheese I've ever tasted, and that says a lot because I'm a Southern Belle who knows how to whip up a great homemade mac&cheese, but this one definitely put mine to shame. The flavorful outburst of the smoked bbq & creamy cheese made my heart so happy! To be honest, I wanted to cancel our dinner reservations just so we could try the other items on the menu, that's how much I enjoyed my experience. Typically, BBQ is not my first choice when it comes to dining options. Of course I enjoy the flavors, but it's the messiness that usually keeps me away most of the time! I don't like meat in my teeth or sauce on my face so I stay away from ribs...please don't judge me! Lol Lets just say when I got home, I immediately looked up the location of this food truck and to my surprise, they are actually a few miles from my home! OMG!!!!! This is a very dangerous thing for me...Looks like I'm going to be Outlaw BBQs biggest fan! I'm even willing to get messy just to enjoy their amazing food. If you LOVE bbq, this spot is a must try. How do I write this review? 1st, by end of night, I HAD to share this. 2nd, I've only had this experience one other time. I digress. We had the BBQ ribs, Mac, brisket tacos, and poutine with brisket. Not a veggie in sight but we knew what we were getting into--pure indulgence. The review: portions are HUGE....the flavors are BOLD. They are not shy with the seasoning and admittedly I have not had any tastes of bbq like theirs. At first, my family was like "ooookay" "uhhhm that's different." 1/2 way through, we were full but could not stop eating it. Hubby didn't like Mac quite honestly--at first. But when he dug to the bottom, we all realized the topping was mostly what we tasted at first bite which has a breadcrumb taste. He ended up eating the rest of it by the end of it! Dinner was 3 hours ago and all of us are snacking on those savory fall off the bone ribs! The brisket and ribs are the most tender meat I've ever had...and seasoned so well. If you're ready for a pop of flavor in your smoked meat and you want tender meat, this is it. Wish I had a pic but the food is gone! We will be back! The only critique: the poutine was a bit salty, we all agreed and had to throw out the fries--no need to salt the fries and the the gravy which is the issue. But we'll eat the meat/gravy that was on top with some plain unsalted rice, veggies or something tomorrow. I felt my pressure rising each bite so they need to pull back. The Outlaw Nachos on the menu are described as Fresh Tortilla Chips. The toppings are decent, but the nachos are far from fresh tortilla chips. They're round carnival nachos that are doctored up with toppings. I cannot give a review on the actual smoked meat. I'm willing to bet it's good. read more

Underappreciated BBQ place. They opened not long before Covid-19 hit, and they need more exposure. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

We attended an outdoor socially-distanced graduation party and they chose the Outlaw Smoke BBQ for their food. Instead of ordering catering, they got a food truck! So fun! The truck had a menu of about 6 items, from pork sandwich to Mac Attack, to tacos. Since we were socially-distanced, I couldn't see the portions before I ordered so I got both the Mac Attack and the nachos. Portions ended up being huge and delicious, and I wanted to eat every bit of both but just couldn't quite do it lol. read more

Outlaw catered our wedding three years ago. We LOVED their food then (as did our guests) and we love it now. They are so accommodating and kind, easy to work with, and clearly take great pride in their business and food. My husband and I visited again on our anniversary. We were surprised to find the food (Outlaw Fries and the Texas Platter) even better than we remembered! The meat is smoked to perfection. Pulled Pork tacos are off the chain. They use a sriracha Mayo that is a nice salivating touch. Pork is tender and sweet. Other topping ingredients were fresh. Would of posted a pic but couldn't wait to eat them. Nice hidden gem I will definitely be back. read more

This place is a brand new store. They do catering and had a food truck. I had their brisket tacos and ordered potato salad for later. Also ordered their brisket chili for later. Couldn't finish the tacos. Had two and was stuffed. So good. Potato salad also excellent. But their chili! They've won awards with it and it is well earned. Never tasted better!
