We were approached by Economy to remove 2 dying trees in our parkway. The first quote was $1500 and he quickly lowered it to $1,100. When we said we were looking into the town removing them, he lowered the price to $800. We told him to leave his business card and we'd get back to him. We called back and asked if they would remove the 2 trees for $500 cash. We agreed on $580 cash. When the owner came to collect, he told me we got an extremely good deal and asked for $50 more. Then he stated that on the invoice it says "no dirt or mulch removal when grinding stumps" and Economy actually removed everything. Not my problem. I felt the owner was manipulatIve. He quickly left when he realized he wasnt getting anywhere with me.
