We stayed across the street from this establishment so it was a quick walk across the street. We had an event Friday so we got there about 4:00. I wish I remembered our waitress's name because she was wonderful at her job. It's very hard to find old school waitressing skills anymore. She was friendly, very attentive and helpful. (Not very tall, blond/brown hair) The only issue we had was the speed food came out of the kitchen. We had 2-3 bites of our appetizer and our soup and salad came. 3-4 bites and dinner was there. The kitchen needs to watch their tickets and timing. But, with the waitress we had it just really wasn't a big issue for us. We will definitely return and hope our waitress is working. read more

First time coming here and the experience wasn't great. The service was good. But you would think being a steak place they would know how to cook their steaks. Mine and my boyfriend both had to send our steaks back. When you tell them that you wanted medium and medium well done. You wouldn't think it would be that hard to cook. Well both of ours came out medium rare. Mine was so rare blood juice came out. Our waitress was sorry and sent both foods back. Now wouldn't you think when you have not 1 but 2 plates coming back, shouldn't a manager be involved and given people maybe a discount??? $80 for our meal and got nothing. Stopped in specifically to get the $19.99 Steak & Lobster. We were seated immediately & our server took our drink order. For my 2 sides, I chose a house salad & baked potato, Hubby chose mashed potatoes & broccoli. We chomped on delicious bread with butter while waiting on the food. Our steak & lobster came out in about 10-12 minutes. Both of our steaks were cooked as ordered. The lobster was scrumptious. We were pleased with the food. $3.79 seems steep for a Coke but the server did bring a large Coke in a to go cup when asked. Seems a little tacky to circle the tip recommendation on the check. I received a text when it was about done, so I headed over. as soon as I pulled up, the friendliest, most pleasant person came out with my bag and let me know that my special request was done, while handing me my bag with a smile on her face. The bar person great. sat there by myself since I travel for business for a living she was very attentive and the whole place was not busy. I Order a beer, the ribeye, fresh veggies, and a salad. I got up about a quarter of the way into my salad and a lovely runner brought me my ribeye with fresh veggies and when I turned around, she looked at me kind of strange so I must've given her a look. I said to her oh that's great except I'm only a quarter away through my salad. The Bar must of overheard me and said do you want us to keep it hot for you because they cook it really fast now so that's why it arrive so fast. I said no thank you just set it there and I'll take care of it. I eat the other quarter of my salad and set it to the side. Yes I know ribeyes are fatty but this was extra fat and thin about a quarter inch thick and not a lot of taste then I should've taken the runners suggestion when she asked me. Do I want any A1 sauce And I looked her dead in the eye and said well I hope I don't need it but I should've taken it. I will be going to another steak joint for now on. The worst part was it looked to be a manager, and and an assistant manager, standing around the bar for the 45 minutes I was there, and never once asked how things are come to think of it. Fantastic Outback experience! I had early dinner with my grandma and the entire experience was 5 stars! Our server Jarid was very friendly and attentive and dinner was perfect. My hubby and I got steaks potato's and salad , an appetizer (cheese fries which where good) What irritates my hubby is his Caesar salad smelled and tasted like fish, and the steaks we asked for medium well on both , they came out burnt as fuuu and the inside of his was bloody and red , not even a medium. Mine was done medium , I understand it's a steak and people like cooking them their way but I haven't ever had a black burnt steak on both sides AND have a blood red inside. Was in town for business and we were looking for somewhere to get dinner nearby. Our server was friendly and attentive. I got the bloomin fried chicken which I really enjoyed. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Vegetables and sweet potatoes were standard. Unfortunately, they messed up my colleagues order and gave him the wrong thing. He kept the meal and ate it because we did not to wait any longer. Additionally, the server circled the area on the receipt where the recommended tips were detailed. We have loved this place since we were in college BUT THIS LOCATION restaurant has so much to fix to be considered as being worth your money or time. While there were some friendly staff almost everyone we personally encountered came across complacent, no real investment to our experience, a lack of smile or personality, dropped food with minimal interaction at barely audible voices. The food itself was also disappointing which to say the least was just a continuation of disappointment. There was a lack of flavor and presentation. Next time we will wait in line next door at Texas Roadhouse or just go the opposite direction from our house and get everything for a little more money - but I'd rather pay a few more bucks and leave for home saying it was worth it to not have to shop, cook or serve my crew. I did 10 years as a server putting myself through college so I know the difficulties in the job, but if you want to be successful as a waitress you make everyone's experience great to the best of your abilities. My family ate at Outback in Troy, OH last night. The plus side: My son had an excellent fillet, cooked just right My wine was the house Cab, it was very good. Broccoli was just right and had a hint of bacon on it, yummy. The sad side: Fries were under done and soggy. We couldn't eat them. My daughter-in-law had chicken. Way over cooked, dry as the desert. I had the Outback Burger. I asked for medium, it was a 1/4 inch thick puck of overdone burger. I'll never ask Outback for a burger again. I'd suggest Mulligans in Piqua or either Caroline or Basils in Troy if you want a great burger. read more

I was greeted by a warm friendly smile and helped immediately. I sat at the bar, the ambiance is exceptional throughout the restaurant. My bartender Linda is a top notch professional and makes feel cared for. I had the Steak & Lobster with Shrimp. The steak I ordered medium rare, it was perfectly cooked with a warm pink center that only got tastier as I ate my meal, which complimented the steak deliciously. It came with a sweet and hot dipping sauce that made the whole meal a delight. I have eaten here a few times before. The experience is always consistent. Been a long time since I've been to this location and I must say this place has earned their 5 star rating. Steak; done right, steamed fresh vegetables; excellent flavor, baked potatoes; melts in your mouth. Service was above and beyond. Definitely coming back here and recommend you do the same.
