It's a bit pricey for what you get. Our personal preference is not a lot of pepper. They peppered his vegetables and the salad! The blooming onion was too spicy for our taste as well. I ordered a salad my spouse ordered a steak, it was good but the steak was tiny. We told them to go easy on the seasoning with the steak. The service was terrible! We had eight people at our table and ordered the blooming onion, you would have thought they would have brought out serving plates with it so we could share across the table but no no no. We asked for plates by time we got them the onion was cold. We had to ask for straws 3 times before we got them. Had to ask for refills for our drinks. And it took too long for our meals to come out. Way too long. We were celebrating a Birthday and no one came to sing happy birthday just plopped a scoop of ice cream with a candle in it in front of her. Bye! Service was slow and bad. And the restaurant wasn't even busy. A lot of open tables. read more

We go to Outback pretty regularly and service and product vary more than you would think from location to location, especially for a chain restaurant. Because we travel with our dog and don't want to leave her, we made a pick up order. We started with the Down Under Trio for our appetizer. I like the fried mozzarella bloomerangs and my husband likes the bloomin' onion petals. We share the cheese fries. We like that it comes with multiple sauces. I usually order the porkchops from most locations but some do not offer it and I could not find it on the menu here so I chose the Alice springs chicken instead. It was fine and I like the honey mustard sauce. My husband tried the steak and shrimp pasta at this location and it's definitely a good serving but the presentation wasn't the best. He enjoyed it and it filled him up. This location is fine. It took a little longer for our order to be ready than usual and they forgot to put utensils in the bag but at least they didn't leave out any food items. You would be surprised how often that happens. The staff was nice and even though a few items were a bit overcooked (better over than under) we enjoyed our food overall. read more

After getting blindsided by a sad little episode over at In-N-Out, I found myself doing what any reasonable grown man would do... retreating to Outback Steakhouse - Kaiser Station like it was a sanctuary for the wounded and the hungry. Now I didn't walk in there with high hopes. No sir. I walked in like a man who just got stood up by his own cheeseburger. Expectations were low... borderline underground. But then bam. Steak comes out like it's got something to prove. Cooked just right, like somebody in that kitchen actually gives a damn. Seafood? Sitting there warm and proper, not acting like it just woke up from a nap. And those fries hot. Not "kinda warm if you believe hard enough" I'm talking honest-to-God hot. Service? Smooth. The kind of smooth where you don't even notice it at first. Next thing you know, your drink's full, your table's clean, and your mood's done a complete 180. And the place itself clean, sharp, even the bathrooms looked like they had a little pride in themselves. That's how you know you're somewhere decent. Ain't nobody faking clean bathrooms. Walking out, I had that rare feeling... like maybe the universe owed me one and finally paid up. Outback didn't just fix dinner it restored a little faith in the whole going-out-to-eat operation. And that, my friend, is what I call a comeback story with steak. read more

The bathrooms are clean; the drinks are good(esp the one w/the alligator? in it)sports on the tv; potato soup and bread are fantastic(sometimes I get them to-go)....don't be afraid to ask about seating, seconds on bread, & how well your steak should be cooked.I I was concerned about time between servings but then I remembered I'm retired....kick back and enjoy a good steak or shrimp or one of my fav's is the steak salad w/a Bloody Mary(virgin or real thing delicious). read more

Not sure why all the places in Keizer are racist ! My husband put our name down and the waiter or hostess knew we were waiting outside with our toddler and rudely sat a bunch of tables ahead of us . Save your money just eat at in n out you won't get forgetton ! Today's date is July 22nd time we walked in was 7:09 and still want seated at 7:35 . I how management and corporate also ready this . Your staff should really work on communication and customer service and setting racial profile aside when do business . Remember the ones who don't look like they have money to spend actually have it ! Side note if you read the great reviews it is all from people that are not of color so keep that in mind when dining here ! read more

Compared to when we came in a few days ago, it was a complete 180° . Some this took a little longer but our wonderful waitress had a lot of tables she was working on. Our blooming onion was forgotten but when we told her we wanted our appetizer first she took our food back and we got our blooming onion we had ordered and they removed it from our ticket. Then REMADE new plates fir our main course. Our food was brought fresh. Everything tasted great, lately places seem to over salt the steaks. I forgot to ask for no salt but they did awesome. We were very happy with the service. We will be back soon. read more

Special occasion for us but the service and atmosphere were really lacking. My mate's dinner order was delivered at least 10 minutes before mine which was surprising. He politely waited for me to be served even though I repeatedly told him to go ahead. When my food finally arrived a second drink was ordered. It didn't arrive until we were almost done eating. The food was very good, no complaints about the food. The waitress was very nice but perhaps needs more training. A huge part of going out to eat is the service. Our experience at the Keizer Outback was disappointing. read more

Outback has taken a step back as a whole in recent years. As a road-warrior I often would make Outback a standard stop of quality and consistency. The past few years; however, I've noticed a decline in both quality of food and service. This visit was no different. Restaurant was relatively empty and the staff were very friendly but the service was extremely slow. While my ribs were decent I found my salad to be soggy and inedible. It seemed like the salad had been in the cooler for a several days. As a result Outback has slipped down my list of chains I frequent. read more

Excellent customer service! My steak was overcooked, but the manager immediately made it right by having a new one prepared and even treating us to dessert. The replacement steak was perfect, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Great food, great service, and a team that truly cares about its customers. We'll definitely be back read more

Every single thing about this particular Outback is Outstanding. We celebrated a dear elderly friend's birthday tonight; the food could not have been better. The manager, Timothy, went above and beyond to take personal care of us, helping us look for a key fob, even inlooking around our cars! Our server, Ayesha, stayed after her shift in order to take care of us on a very busy night. She was so lovely to us. Timothy & Ayesha made this evening we'll never forget. Sorry to gush, but sometimes it's called for! read more

This is the 3rd year in a row where I came from out of town this visit was December 23rd at 1pm Our waitress needs further training. One of the cooks came out and spoke to a few tables but not ours. I had a steak that was overcooked my friend had ribs and last had the springs chicken. Hers was the best. I tried to complain but as it was it took 25 minutes to get our drinks and bread. I thought id give them one more chance and this restaurant failed. Train your employees or get someone to help read more

Worst steak ever! It looked good but I had to chew and chew every piece and I'd end up spitting it out. Great flavor just really sinewy! Wedge salad was great. read more

Blooming onion tasted liked it was deep fried in overused, old oil, babyback ribs, the meat was bland only flavor was the seasoning, steak salad, meat was rotten tasting and the salad was saturated in dressing. Would never eat there again or recommend to even a bad friend. Go elsewhere. read more

Amazing service by Ricardo!!! This was our first time in YEARS and we'll be back because of him. The food was so good too! Thank you!

Service was good! Caesar salad was good. The bloomin burger was not good. Hours later it still gives me a burning sensation in my stomach. I will not be dining at outback any more read more

This is the first Outback that I've visited in many many years. This location was near my hotel and convenient. I arrived somewhat early for dinner, maybe around 4:00pm or so. There was a couple different families inside eating. The reception stand wasn't being manned by anyone and I waited quite awhile for someone to come assist me. I was given a nice table, prompt server, and I ordered the prime rib, French onion soup and baked potato. They arrived quickly, hot and well prepared. Of course the soup was excellent as was the potato...but let me tell you that the prime rib was remarkable...excellent seasoning and cooked perfectly. Give them a try, you will be amazed. read more

We ordered a Blooming Onion. When we received it, it was dark brown and brittle. (way over cooked). The waitress could have easily returned it to the kitchen but did not. We will never order that again and possibly not return. read more

Update : the regional manager of Outback reached out after realizing our hideous experience He also delved deep, speaking with all relevant employees working on the day of our visit AND pulled footage from the restaurant's camera!!! My dismay and upset over our experience was clearly justified. I was not someone complaining to glean a free meal!! It is truly wonderful to see a large business such as Outback concerned about their customer's experience!! I am also pleased to report that my family thoroughly enjoyed a recent meal at the Keizer Outback Per my mother ; same host & waiter but 100% on task read more

Oh boy! I've never really considered myself a steak guy, everywhere I've been it's felt like entirely too much chew for too little flavor, so imagine my surprise to find myself ordering the 13oz ribeye. Let's cut to the chase. One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life, I devoured it and here I am 3 days later ready for more. The mozzarella boomerangs. Holy. F****. S*** my wife and I both just about had a foodgasm when we tried these. I've had mozzarella sticks everywhere, and they never stand out. This however was completely different. I need more, like stat. Holy s*** The sides, fantastic. I got the loaded baked potato and the steakhouse Mac and cheese. Absolutely would order again. Phenomenal. My wife got the sirloin/ribs combo and loved it. Our service: we arrived to a packed house on Saturday evening, and it took about 30 minutes to get us and our daughter seated. Is waiting fun? Not really but for a Saturday full house 30mins is NOTHING. 100/10 performances on staff part Waiter: professional, polite and a damn mind reader. My wife's drink never sat empty for more than a minute before a replacement was on our table. My wife was almost suspicious that he was so good! 100/10 absolutely great guy- it's a shame I didn't get his name. The ambiance: 10/10 I'm not a big bright lights guy so the casual lighting that didn't hurt my eyes was much appreciated. All in all. Need more steak. Soon. Need more mozzarella boomerangs. Soon. 100/10 delicious. (Y'all should definitely sponsor me for, literally anything as long as it means more steak) read more

Outback Steakhouse - 13 ounces of Gorgeous Ribeye steak - Steakhouses Near Me - Keizer, Oregon

Horrible quality seems to have been going down for some time now definitely our last time ever trying outback! I ordered steak and chicken combo and my wife ordered chicken/shrimp pasta it seems like the grilled items ie my steak and her chicken were extremely chewy/rubbery to the point where it was almost inedible. It's crazy to me how these places still exist and at these prices it's literally no better than a Denny's imo at this point read more

Order: Sweet Chook O'mone Sandwich & carrot cake Pros: the food was okay nothing spectacular. Cons: the bar waiter was rude! I asked for water with no lemon. She brought me water with lemon. We took our granddaughter to Outback after seeing a commercial for $14.99 dinner But when we arrived it was $18.99. We looked on the website & it also said $14.99 We asked the waitress to see the manager & he sent her back to tell us that in small print it says, not at all locations...but on the website for the keizer establishment it advertises the $14.99. Bad business and the manager wouldn't even talk to us read more

I've had good experiences at this Outback, but the most recent was pretty mediocre. We were there on a busy Saturday night, so we understood that things took a little longer, but it also seemed to impact the quality of the food. The Bloomin' Onion appetizer was even more greasy than normal, and left a puddle underneath it; likely from the cooking oil not being maintained at optimum temperature. I ordered a 6 oz. filet mignon (requested medium) with fries and broccoli. The fries and broccoli were fine, but the steak was exceptionally charred on one side (borderline burnt), and it was cooked to medium well. Luckily, you can get away with that with a tender cut like a filet. Overall, it was okay. I might come back again if in the Keizer area, but it won't be my first choice. read more

Waiters and waitresses were rude and uncaring when I was there around 2020. The place was also very messy - napkins, food, etc. on floor. I ordered the blooming onion and it was served to me with the bottom of plate full of oil under the onion which was also oil soaked. I haven't been back since. read more

Not my first time eating here, but probably my last. Lackluster attitude from the wait staff and not very attentive to our needs. The "medium" steak was, at the very least, medium well but closer to well done. The other steak was tough and over seared. The Bloomin Onion was thin, greasy and over cooked. It just seemed like everyone there was just going through the motions. It was a Thursday, so maybe they have their less qualified staff on duty to save the starters for the weekend, but I expected more. Sad read more

The food was literally so bad. Anything fried was terrible. It wasn't packed and the food took forever to come out. The servers uniforms looked dirty and the plates/serveware were dirty. There were multiple empty tables when we got there and the host insisted on cleaning a different table for us and proceeded to have a conversation with her other co-workers instead of helping us when the restaurant was empty. Then when we did sit down our table and chairs were wet and sticky. Overall bad service and really bad food. Review is a 0/10. read more

French onion soup, coconut shrimp and bloomin onion are delish. If you get a steak get it with garlic butter and mushrooms. The all day everyday $8 drinks are so cheap for how fancy and delish they are. The smoked old fashion and espresso martini is so good read more

We chose to come here with my parents who flew in from out of town. Had never been to this location but enjoyed other locations. Our waiter was very inattentive. He would disappear for large amounts of time. We ordered our drinks and appetizers but then had to wait close to 40 minutes after being there to order our entrees. My mom had ordered an additional drink and had to remind the waiter to go get it from the bar. Once she received it she could tell it had been sitting a while as the ice had started to melt. The food itself was delicious and cooked well, but the terrible service from the waiter left a really bad taste for this location read more

Found a bug in my salad!! Literally, ordered an appetizer but received our salads before? Started eating my salad and noticed a bug, let the server know and took my 10-15min for the manger to come to our table! Will never be back to this location, all manager said was we'll take it off the tab before I head out /: was sad night read more

Used to be so good. Waited for at least five minutes for a hostess to appear to seat us. Then no wait staff in sight. Left and went across the street to Hops and Drops who had a hostess at the door seat us right away immediately followed by wait staff getting our drink orders. Corporate needs to visit this Outback and see if they can get them back on track. read more

I entered this establishment by myself 11/27/24, was greeted warmly and kindly by the hostess. Was told to choose my own seat and enjoy my time wherever I chose. I politely obliged. Chose my seat and eagerly awaited and anticipated my dinner (I just worked 14 hours straight with no food). The young short haired bar tender was polite, kind, and very friendly. I placed my order for a 6 oz medium rare steak and shrimp, mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. I received my salad, White stumps of leftover produce, old cucumbers with brown spots, with brown pieces of lettuce EVERYWHERE. I kindly mentioned this to my server and asked for asparagus instead so as to not hassle them anymore. After 20 minutes I finally received my meal. Mashed potatoes? Cold in the center. Asparagus? Mushy and nasty. Steak? Cooked well done.. Shrimp? Burnt. I kindly mentioned all of this to my server. She was nice and had my order remade. How did it come back? EXACTLY THE SAME. I mentioned it again, and they finally remade my steak medium rare, however they left everything the same. I ordered two drinks while waiting for my food. After I received the horribly cooked food I was informed by TIM the manager thatI couldn't order anymore drinks. Even after I paid my tab and tipped them 15% in cash. Worst experience ever. 0/5 stars. Stay far away from this place if you plan on eating here. The bar and appetizer scene is a 10/10 with the short haired girl. Other than that? You're better off any place other than this!! read more

Outback Steakhouse - Steakhouses Near Me - Keizer, Oregon

I'm giving two stars because the simple fact that being a steakhouse I would have expected the steak to be so much better than it was unfortunately there was not much flavor to it at all . And with the price that I paid I could have made it just as planned at home . I was hoping that the seasonal vegetables we're going to be something other than just broccoli . The mashed potatoes weren't bad but overall for the amount of money that I paid I was not satisfied at all . read more

I was there a couple weeks ago and had amazing service! My family was visiting from California to meet their new grandson. I believe our waitress name was Amarie? Sorry if thats wrong. But she brought ENERGYY to the table. Absolutely loved her. Another gentleman in burgundy shirt heard how much I liked the chimichurri since I asked for extra and mentioned a way he liked to eat it with pasta. Next thing I know he brought it to the table for me to try! Completely unexpected but it was so good! Thank you both so much for adding to our great day! read more

Service here at Keiser location sux... I am very frustrated thinking it might not be as bad as the last time I was here. I was mistaken, I thought sitting in the bar area, I might get better svc bc there's not so many ppl. 1st, it took 6min to be greeted amd another 3min for water and Dr.Pepper, 2nd, another 7min for the waitress to comeback and take our order..... I was very specific and to the point on my order. 2 other couple that ordered AFTER us had gotten their appetizers while my GF and I were still waiting..... The bar area stated to fill up and still no soup or salad, I couldn't even get a refill on my soda in a timely manner. Finally my GF went and talked to someone and that someone talked to someone else... apparently a manager came out and informed us that our order ticked had fallen and they didn't know. Instead of comping us a meal or both, he said he would tell the kitchen to cook the food only for us to wait ANOTHER 15-20 min..... Not sure I will ever go there again. The bartender is slow as molasses in the winter, and the barback or waitstaff are not very professional either... I guess if ur 16,inexperienced, and need a job, Outback Steakhouse might hire you. I hope who ever else reads this, your experience goes well.. sorry, im just very irritated and frustrated..... read more

Went to Outback last night. Haven't been for many years but at a different location. My prior experience at this chain was hit and Miss and then became Miss after miss. Last night's service made up for all those misses. Very attentive and friendly staff who worked as a team to ensure food was delivered hot and didn't sit in the window while my server attended other guests. A little spendy but hey, anymore, who isn't. Meals were in the $20+ range. Burger was prepared and delivered to my grandson's specifications. Barely any pink (a good thing) in the middle. Very generous portion of fries. Granddaughter and I got the Alice Chicken. It was a good size breast, very moist and seasoned. The cheese, bacon and glaze were well proportioned to the meat. The bacon was nicely cooked so I didn't have to deal with flabby fat! Chowder was thick and creamy. The cup is closer to a bowl portion you get at other places. My salad may have been close to a pull date as there was some definite dehydration wilt to some of the lettuce but made without cucumbers as requested. Overall I was very pleased with the value, service and total experience. read more

Seated quickly, good thing during the COVID pandemic. Our order was taken quickly. That's where the good experience stopped. We received our bread which at most Outbacks is amazing. Not here, it was cold and almost thrown at us. Next, the side salad to my husband. All I can say is bagged salad is better Hahaha. My steak was cooked to my expectations. The waitress barked out to us,"How is everything?". No one wanted to say anything to her at that point. So we answered quickly that everything was,"fine". His steak was EXTREMELY under cooked. I asked him for a bite and it was still Mooing, he asked for med rare. Not going back. Ever. I understand the bad reviews and I wish I would've listened. Avoid this Outback.
