I was tasked with settling two estates. Gene and his crew helped me with both and lifted a great burden from my shoulders by handling things that I just couldn't do on my own. Both cases involved heavy lifting that I wasn't capable of. They also involved hauling items from one location to another which he did with great care. And of course he removed and cleaned up trash, debris and unwanted items too. I recently learned he does some snow plowing. One call was all it took. First - Gene and his crew are great. I wouldn't hesistate to use them again should I accrue another pile of stuff that I need gone. Professional, absolutely no worries on my part as they started pulling stuff up from the basement and into the truck. Given the work Gene and the people did - bringing stuff up stairs from the basement, including a good sized freezer, plus the speed with which they did it, it was well worth the money spent. (I've used a bagster before, this cleanup involved a lot more work). They didn't leave any mess/no worries about the carpet, floor, walls, etc. Gene kept in touch before the appointment. I had Gene haul off items two different times last year when I was selling my house. He and his crew were efficient and reasonably priced. When I remarked to Gene that he really knew how to pack a lot in his truck and that he would probably be very good at packing a pod, he said he did that too. l said great, i will call you next year when I am ready to move out of state. This week, Gene and his team packed my large pod. I had set some items to the side saying that if there wasn't enough room, these items could be left behind. Amazingly, Gene fit everything in, including those items! He and his team are hard working, dependable, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. I highly recommend Gene for both large and small jobs. Last year he moved a used refrigerator for me and hauled away a broken TV and old furniture and other miscellaneous item for a reasonable price. In point of fact, he lowered the quoted price because I had a smaller number of items than he was expecting. He and his crew were cheerful and efficient. This year, he cleared out my boyfriend's home. 70 years of accumulated living and Gene was very sensitive about saving family memorabilia. Showed up on time, and worked flawlessly to clear everything that I indicated needed to go. Cleaned out the entire house in less than five hours. After cleaning out the house, crew was more than helpful in moving large six piece bedroom set from the second floor to the first floor to make it accessible for family withhold trying to negotiate the stairs. Highly recommended. We had over 50 demo bags sitting on our deck and a huge pile of construction debris in our yard from our renovation work. I talked to Gene in the morning, he came out that day, took a look and quoted a very reasonable price (as in, I almost dropped the phone).
