They even carry locally found megalodon teeth! We spent an hour exploring every nook and cranny of interesting decor, art and antiques. The clerk was friendly and super accommodating. She showed us every shark tooth in the case. They carry a lot of coastal themed decor and much of it is locally inspired and crafted. I even saw some hand crocheted animals. Prices are reasonable. They are currently decorated for Christmas and carry a lot of vintage and locally crafted ornaments. There is plenty of parking and a ramp for handicapped access. This is a great place to find gifts, home decor and shop local.

What truly made this place stand out, though, was the kindness of the staff and owner. My husband uses a wheelchair, and the owner was incredibly accommodating, even offering to open the store an hour early the next morning so we could shop before it became crowded and more difficult for him to navigate. That level of compassion and customer service is rare and meant so much to our family. If you're visiting Topsail, Bumblebee Market is definitely worth a stop. We had been looking for thrift stores and flea market kind of venues, and had been scratching around the Island and surrounding areas all day. What a treat it was for us to meander thru this beautiful shop, totally unexpectedly because we discovered it while stopping in the strip mall for something else. The pictures that are posted are beautiful, and are very representative of the interior .... but three years later, this shop is packed with unique things! The owner (I assume) and her assistant were so warm and welcoming! I felt like I was shopping in my own hometown! I purchased a couple of things ... (a hooked pillow that I LOVE ... BTW: I have spent the better part of this year "needlepointing" a Christmas pillow that will probably never seen the Holidays LOL ... so I didn't hesitate to purchase a pillow that I absolutely loved!) Her work is creative and unique. She is so gifted. She does designs on furniture in many mediums. Paints. Creates objects that are truly one of a kind. I lucked out finding her because she is so talented I cannot believe the prices on her pieces. I found her when she just opened shop. I bought an old wine barrel clock just today because I can't stop going back to see what she is working on now. She informed me she can also take any piece of furniture I have and make my ideas or designs come true. I want a dresser done with lettering across the front. Lori is also gong to offer tutorials so others can learn to create. I'm interested in alcohol ink tiles. Of course I have one of hers in my home. Go and see her shops. She is never a waste of time and I am always pleased and surprised.
