Most of the inventory is high end, but we found a few hard to beat bargains. We spent just $31 and walked out with a set of two pretty wooden serving plates, a coral art wall hanging, and three distressed white picture frames. We were thrilled with the quality and value of our purchases. An interesting feature of their pricing policy is that just about everything had three prices, so the longer something stays in stock, the lower the price drops. Customer service is phenomenal. We had a wonderful chat with owner Jeannie Bethel, who was a real joy as she talked about her store, where the inventory comes from, and about Wilmington in general. We also had a great experience with Sharon Feiler who rang us up, meticulously wrapped our glass purchases, and chit chatted about the store. It's a cool store. They sell used furniture, mirrors, paintings and other home decor items. All are in very good to great condition. We have purchased a few items from them. The inventory rotates so some days I find nothing, other days there are several items I want. The price of the item will reduce if the item hasn't moved in so many days. You can see this on the tag. I have found several unique items for my house. Prices were decent for being used and much better than buying new. The prices, especially when first added to the store, are a little higher than at other shops or from an individual. That said, I love their select and quality of the items. read more

Sharon is a Hoot and I always have fun shopping & consigning in there. They absolutely treat you like family. Excellent Customer Service! Usually the other guests are fun as well... I've had many interactions with the staff and they're super friendly & courteous. The furniture is solid and a wide variety of reputable brands... Prices are competitive as they should be, it reflects the quality of their merchandise. This is a Honest & High Quality Store with lots of Character with Eclectic styles... I had been looking for an ottoman for so long. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I wanted it to be unique and not like every other ottoman. My sister saw one on their Instagram account and knew it would look great in my home. She went into to see it in person. I called and paid for it over the phone, and she picked it up for me. The person who helped me was very nice and quick to get everything wrapped up. It is a gorgeous piece of furniture and is unlike anything I've seen. It has become the statement piece of the room, which wasn't my intention, but it's fine by me. They are great with their social media account and I would suggest you follow them on Instragram as they have some beautiful pieces for great prices - homeagainilm. I love this store they have beautiful merchandise however, their sales associates are very rude, not helpful and act like they doing you a favor selling you their goods. They do not thank you for your business and they are extremely condescending if you ask questions. It is too bad they cannot welcome their customers with a smile and thank them for their purchase. I purchased a mirror online and I live in Raleigh so it took me a little while to pick it up. I figured they either were holding it or would refund it to me and then sell it. They KEPT my money and SOLD the item so they would profit on it TWICE*** Make sure you pick up your item bc if life happens and you don't pick up within 30 days they TAKE YOUR MONEY and SELL THE ITEM!!!!!! I have been a customer for at least 10 years. I have bought multiple items, thousands of dollars and most recently a 3000.00 living room set. This store seems to have changed in both pricing and courteousness of staff. The merchandise seems to be priced at new retail prices instead of used consignment prices, but that aside. My two star rating is from my most recent experience. I purchased a dining set for 1800.00 +tax. I paid in full on their website. I discovered a couple of hours later my measurements were off and this set would not fit in the tight space it was destined to. I emailed the store because they were now closed. They were closed for the weekend. Nobody called me back. I told them of my dilemma and asked for a refund. I finally called and was told no refunds. I knew this was a policy but because I had bought so much in the past they would make an exception. The manager was not pleasant. Told me reluctantly she would let me out but I had to pay 20% restocking fee for all the work and damage I caused during the couple of hours I had my name on it. After pleading with her she didn't charge me the 360.00 restocking but 100.00 restocking. I could understand if I held this up for days or even took it home and wanted to return, but a couple of hours is ridiculous. I'm not even sure of the legality of that. My advice to anyone shopping here is to make sure you really want it because they do not care about any honest measuring mistakes or any life problems you may have. I have even bought expensive jewelry when they had lumina Gem in the store. Manager did not care and informed me they have nothing to do with us, not related. I hope they enjoy the 100.00 they charged me because I will not be doing anymore business with them. Wilmington is full of consignment and furniture stores. read more

Great place. Would have given 4.5 stars out of 5, and was going to, until I saw an ad they placed with Confucius depicted in a racist way and with words that are totally demeaning of the Chinese race. I am totally appalled such folks would stoop so low as to even print that ad. They may thought of it as a catchy, funny, way to "save money" with a wise old Chinese philosopher saying it. Ummm, no. Stooping to stereotypes and racial judgement does not make your store look better. Quite the opposite. Totally tasteless, rude, discriminatory, and unethical. Please take down that ad. Selection is frequently changing so if you don't like what you see at first, it's always worth another look. They do a great job with social media updates, but the reason for only 3 stars is their staff. They aren't at all friendly or helpful, more like condescending as another reviewer posted. I was in the market for a good bit of furniture and I would've bought more from them if someone had actually taken an interest in helping and asked what I was looking for. read more

Let me clarify this one star rating. The store itself is cute and has an interesting combination of new and consignment furniture. I found a new sofa there that I liked very much. When I called later in the day to purchase it, the transaction went smoothly. I thought the $125 delivery was a little high (plus another $25 to put my old sofa in the garage) considering I am about 2 miles from the store, but that was still okay. What was NOT okay to me is that even buying a brand new piece of furniture, I was not given any information at all about it. They could (would) not give me the manufacturer, the style number, fabric/cleaning information, anything. In fact, all of the identifying information had been cut off with the threads left behind. They said it was their policy. I have scoured their website and can find nothing relating to this "policy" of not supplying their customers with any information. I was told the paperwork would be attached to the sofa, and now I am blaming myself for assuming that I would receive information that I have received with every other furniture purchase I have ever made in my life. If information is important to you, you may want to reconsider this store and their policies. How are you supposed to take care of something with no instructions? I would happily send it back and eat the delivery charges, but of course they also have a "no return policy" also! I'm not sure customer service is their top priority. Would not recommend. read more

Nice variety of consignment furniture and accessories for your home.

We bought a vacation home a few months ago and needed to furnish it. Our realtor told us about Home Again. What a find! We have furnished the house almost entirely from Home Again. I love the variety and quality. Prices are excellent. Sofas, chairs, bedroom sets and decorative items have made our house cozy and comfortable. Most of what they carry is new or like new. Those items that are traditionally consigned pieces are less than 5 years old and are in excellent condition. We stop in frequently and are treated like family by Hayley and Ashley. You can sign up for their weekly email and see what's new that week. The place is a true treasure hunt for adults! Word of advice - know what you need. If you see something you like and wait to think about it, the item is likely to be sold by the time you return. read more

I like what I bought from them very much, but it wasn't representative of the things they have in their shop as a rule. It was classic and is a beautiful piece of quality furniture, and the rest of their store is trendy and beach themed. I liked the price, but what I didn't care for was the sales lady. There were 2 of them, and they couldn't be bothered at first to help me as I guess I didn't look like one of their usuals. I had cash to buy what I wanted, and have a fair bit of knowledge about furniture. They were a bit on the condescending side once they did help me, and I don't think they would be my first stop if I'm furniture shopping again. read more

Store is very nice but customer service is awful especially the dark haired lady behind the counter. She was snippy with customers and kept correcting the only employee that was being helpful.
