2nd stop for me on my venture of the Fort Worth Burger Week. This was a spot that was within walking distance for me so I made the trek. For most others, there's plenty of accessible parking and it's kinda tucked away in it's own lot. The burger offered was the "Our Taphouse" - a dry ranch seasoned beef patty with shredded cheese and topped with carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon jam. The burger was definitely good. It's messy since there are some more toppings prone to falling out. I will say that in terms of taste, it was a bit too sweet for my preference. I think it was the combination of carmelized onions and bacon jam that made it too much for me that it overwhelmed the savoriness that I'd prefer to be the main flavor with the burger. This time I didn't dine in personally but I will say that the place looks like it has a nice vibe to it, especially outside. It looks like there's plenty of seating with an area for musicians to perform. I'm looking forward to coming back one day and maybe watching a game and getting a drink. read more

I checked out a new spot close to home that I'd been hearing about -- they've got over 40 kinds of beer and daily specials. I went on a Wednesday for their $1 wing deal. Unfortunately, the wings were very overcooked, basically burnt. That said, they had a lineup of local comedians performing, which was a fun and unexpected bonus. The atmosphere was super chill and made up for the food -- definitely the kind of place you can hang out and unwind. I'll be going back to try something else off the menu, because the vibe alone is worth another visit. read more

Free nearby parking along the streets is usually available. L shaped bar as you walk in, tables and chairs available inside and out. I was sad that Pouring Glory didn't make it but very happy that Our Taphouse is open. The new owners have been doing amazing things and have many more plans. Check their Facebook and Instagram or some upcoming free music events. Partnered with Untappd; their current beers are shown on screens above the taps. The food menus and weekly specials are provided by the friendly bartenders/servers. My daughter and I split an order of 10 chicken wings with Thai chili and one of the weekly specials; the jalapeño popper empanadas. We were lucky enough to get to experience the new Our Taphouse before their official opening day of June 14th. The Squeezebox Bandits will be playing for their first day with ads across the place promising local live entertainment weekly! The place itself is awesome, quaint, and decorated nicely. They have a vast selection of specialty craft beers from all local breweries along with mainstream selection of domestic beers and non alcoholic beverages. I did not notice if wine was available but I can confirm no liquor is available. The menu is limited but the food is pretty good. We had loaded tater tots with roasted chicken (had a good smoked flavor), a chicken Caesar salad, and lemon pepper boneless wings. They do have burgers and such. Sophie was our waitress and was the best! She happily gave us the low down on the history of the place, how Our Taphouse came to be and was super nice. Bonus- the place is kid friendly. I am not sure if they have a cutoff time in which kids can be there but there is a small outdoor playground for little ones! I wish this place great success!! I was impressed. read more

If you were sad about the exit of Pouring Glory from the space at 1001 Bryan Ave, cheer up! Our Taphouse has everything PG had and more - the delicious food and drinks, excellent service, homey, neighborhood bar & grille ambiance, plus an upgraded patio, perfect for dining al fresco or seeing bands in almost any season. We arrived on a Saturday night to watch a band and enjoy some drinks and snacks. It had rained all day, but we found dry seating on the outdoor loveseat - the staff had moved the cushions before the deluge, so they were dry. The owners put down outdoor terf and a few seatings of ourdoor living furniture, in addition to the wooden picnic tables, creating an upscale backyard feel. Our server was out immediately to take our drink order. He was friendly and attentive our entire visit. We enjoyed the band under strings of backyard bulb lights, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The only thing I don't know is if they have outdoor heaters. It was just a tad chilly that night, and a heater would have helped. If they do, the patio at Our Taphouse is going to be a regular spot this fall and winter. read more

A rebirth of a great space in the S Main neighborhood. Plenty of drafts beers to choose from plus some canned options including seltzers. We had chicken tacos plus onion rings, both were top notch. I really enjoyed meeting the staff and seeing their vision for the space. It will be a great spot for live music and delicious food and beverage. Looking forward to coming here regularly. read more

My first stop here since it reopened. The place has been cleaned up and staff was so helpful and friendly. Beer selection is wide and on Untapped. My intent was to just have a beer but after seeing their Burger Week offering, I took one home with me. It has been a while since I had a burger that tasty, well balanced, and fresh. And certainly never if we are considering the price point. This will probably be a regular stop. read more

Not a supporter of the location since the owners split. From what I've witnessed, there's been a lot of unprofessional behavior and the owner has an unpleasant way of treating his staff and handling his temper. The original cooks have also left so the food isn't the same either. At one time I was a complete supporter, but I can no longer recommend anyone to spend their money at this establishment. read more

Friendly and helpful service. The tap wall is packed. Lots of beer options, all beer, no liquor. Mostly local beers from around DFW, which is great to see. Refurbished inside with nice plush booths. This is a cool taproom/restaurant in just south of Downtown FTW. My group had tasty chips, queso and salsa. Other menu items looked good too. I follow their social media and see they have some great food specials from time to time. Service is great, very nice selection of craft beer and non-alcoholic drinks. This is of course a renovation of the old "Pouring Glory" concept. The menu is redone and thus the beer menu is different. They had really nice digital screen displays of their current beer menu. I had a Deep Ellum beer that was very good; the server (who was the owner) explained it in detail before ordering. I like that; you can kind of determine if it will be your thing before ordering. We ordered wings (lemon pepper) with fresh cut fries. The wings were on the well-done side. They were not overcooked; they were plenty juicy. But the coating was just crispy enough. Fries were cooked just right. We got the grilled chicken loaded nachos. The guacamole tasted homemade and really topped them off well. This was good. I'm having to give a huge shout out to 'Our Taphouse'. We've been going since the opening and it's has always been great but yesterday they really impressed us. The beer selection is always on point. They have an amazing variety to choose from. As an appetizer, we got the jalapeño popper empanadas. They came with queso & salsa. The queso & salsa is house made & OMG. The burger & fries were absolutely delicious. Pretty sure the fries are hand cut & cooked to perfection. We had queso & salsa leftover so asked for some tortilla chips (made in house OMG) . WOW! The people were nice, the food was great and the beer was cold. This is the front runner for my "go to" hamberger spot. I'm a fan.
