There are many new and unique items at this store. The jewelry and purse selection is very nice. I've been consigning for 30 years here. I usually spend some or all of my consignment money back in the shop. The mens section is small but it is full of high end clothing including many items with price tags on them. This place is the real deal. I found this shop by pure happenstance. My mother-in-law used to live in Milford (she currently lives in a nearby town), so she mentioned that she had started shopping here. I went with her once and was hooked. I bought a real, not faux, Burberry bag here before. Major score! I don't think the employee who priced it was necessarily aware that they had an authentic Burberry bag on their hands or not. Besides my Burberry treasure, this upscale resale shop often features legit designer wares that other thrift stores do not have. I've spied many a coveted Coach or Louis Vuitton handbag or pair of over sized shades here. Good prices on the good stuff. It's not as cheap as most "dig through the crap to find the rare treasure" type of thrift shops, but the prices are insanely good for the selection and quality of wares. This store is very attractive, with a nice layout. The shop isn't that large in terms of footage, but they pack a lot of inventory into a relatively small space. Apart from the designer frocks, baubles and handbags, there is a nice selection of furniture and home décor items, too. Proceeds benefit local charities. read more

The owners went above and beyond for me. I got a beautiful couch for a great deal! When the owner delivered the couch, it would not fit inside my front or side door. He removed my window in the side room and got the couch in, but it wouldn't fit through the hallway! After taking the couch back out and putting the window back, he got the couch inside by removing my huge front window! After about an hour of removing the caulk and seal, the window was out and we got the couch inside. He re-calked my window and after 3 hours was finally done. I've never experienced such good costumer service and just genuine kindness. I can't believe a stranger went to that length to help me out. I can't thank you guys enough! I love this place! Prices are decent for designer items, although prices too high for the designer items that have staining or are too used...about 50% off from retail. Nice little place. Eclectic selection. They have grown much over the years!! I like that they have a good selection of name brand clothing and accessories. They have nice furniture and home accessories as well. It's very quaint and pleasant to shop. Nice section for kids, clothing, toys, and furnishings. I However, I have noticed a few of the items I have purchased this past year have had stains on them. I hope they will try to be more diligent when they take items in. I've shopped here for years, and they used to be meticulous about this sort of thing. Also, their prices tend to be a bit high. You have to know what you are shopping for, as I have seen items that are just as expensive as the 'sale' prices in stores. Not what I'm looking for as a resale shopper. I've been a customer and consignor here since the early/mid 90s. Unfortunately Our Blessings has changed quite a bit since those early days. It used to be a friendly, welcoming place to shop and consign. Over the past several years though I've noticed it's become far less friendly and more "snooty". Prices are high - often you can do just as well shopping retail sales. As far as consigning goes, the girls in the back who accept and review the consignment items seem aloof and haughty every time I go in. It's disappointing because this used to be my favorite consignment shop, but it's no longer worth the drive (about 45 minutes one way) for me to shop or consign here. Hope they can make some improvements in the future to bring back that friendly, welcoming experience for both shoppers and consignors. read more

My daughter and I was there Friday, May 9 and as usual we had a very successful trip. We love this store, we can always find something or more every time we shop here. The lady at the register was super nice and helpful, the ladies in the back aren't as friendly. I realize they were busy that day, but the dressing room put back rack was overflowing and no room for any more. It seemed to be the lady at the registers job besides helping customers, ringing up sales and watching everyone, even though there was at least 4 others in the back area that could of helped her out. Overall it's well worth the trip. read more

This is a beautiful store. It is very nice that they have everything Color-coordinated. The gentleman working there was very friendly and helpful. I have taken a number of things to this consignment store over the years. Some months ago I had taken a coach purse there. It has gone missing and I never got it back or money for it being sold. They said it was missing and they would look for it. The thing that bothers me is it was in one of the cabinets behind glass. If it was just sitting in the regular area with easy access I guess I would be less shocked. But you have to work with a sales rep to get things out of the cabinet. After waiting months I had gone there late in the day on a Sunday and I spoke with the owner's husband. He was very polite and he said well your contract says that we are not responsible if something is lost or stolen etc. Honestly I sign that paper without realizing that. He asked me what do you want me to do about it. I told him that I think it would be fair if you gave me the dollar amount owed to me in a credit in the store for when I buy something else. He said he thought that was fair and he would talk to my wife and they would get back to me in one or two days. Of course that never happened. So if you have anything of value do not take it to this store. I wish I kept the purse and the wallet and gave it to a family member or simply donated it. It feels terrible to have something stolen from you. I have always liked the store over the years but I am disappointed that I called them multiple times leading up to this and then decided to go in person to resolve it and it still unresolved. read more

I LOVE this store! Always well merchandised, clean, better than regular retail. I have noticed prices are a bit higher than other resale - but watch for FAB sales -- usually seasonal -- which they post to FB. Amazing sales. On the furniture and housewares side, would like to see more vintage /antique. Lots of new stuff. read more
