I've eaten here three or four times now, and always enjoy it. I think what really makes it, aside from the obvious tasty food, is the service. Servers are friendly and funny, always with a joke and a smile, and gave my friend a shot of some mysterious yummy thing on her birthday over the weekend. You get a lot of food for your money, and everything I've had on the menu has been good so far.
The appetizer platters are big portions and great for sharing. Among 6 of us, we got a hot platter and a cold platter "for two" and still felt like we had plenty to go around. I love the sausage (sucuk) and fried cheese (hellim). The meze wrapped in filo pastry are probably my least favorite - one of them is just really creamy in a way I'm not crazy about. Love the broad beans, and the hummus with warm bread. We also had some sort of prawn starter, served hot in a stew-like sauce, I think there was cheese on it - that was delicious too. My husband and I shared the mixed grill and the chicken wings - SO MUCH FOOD. Lamb and chicken shish, minced lamb and spices on skewers, and lamb cutlet all come in the mixed grill, with a bit of rice and salad. It's a ridiculous amount of food, the meat is also juicy and has great chargrilled flavor. I was surprised how much I loved the chicken wings - piping hot and crispy, just as they should be. Way better than the chicken wings I've had at most American-style restaurants here. They don't have a sauce on them, but the grilling makes them a cut above.
