From the greeting you receive when you arrive to the wondeeful service during the meal, you are made to smile. I regularly host business guests here as the staff are very mindful to give you time to chat and not to interrupt conversations. The pricing is also very reasonable. Finally, absolutely recommend for a birthday, when they bring the cake they drop the lights and play what I assume is a Turkish birthday song (super catchy tune) and in place of a candle is a really intense sparkler. Everything was beautifully presented, it seemed up a notch from your average Turkish restaurant in terms of the way the food appeared. And they say, first you taste with your eyes! I had minced lamb balls in tomatoe sauce and it had way too much oil and way too little taste. The bread which they make in-house was excellent and this featured in our main meals. Hers, a Turkish "pizza" with chicken and peppers (it's Turkish because it's shaped like a boat and has no cheese ... or tomato sauce ... so basically shaped flatbread). Lacking in any real flavour or substance this good have been great with a good throw of fresh parsley, a squeeze of lemon and some spices. Mine was better, grilled chicken in a tasty enough tomato sauce over chopped bread (which soaks up the sauce) and way too much yoghurt. Again, should have had some spice and fresh herbs to give it some zing. We were on a deal (from a website) so it was worth a try but I can't see myself rushing back. It's not big on flavour and seems to be catering to a crowd who are just looking for something different but safe, to the pizza and pastas on the Quayside.

Hmmm…read more Well I have been to Turkey many times and the food last night (sat 16th) was as authentic as anything I have had from Istanbul to Marmaris. I had a delicious meal as did my companions and the chef there makes his own fresh Turkish bread on site which is delicious. We had mixed meze, lamb and chicken dishes and the whole platter exploded with flavour. I could go on and on and write three pages when all I need to say is I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEVEN HILLS IN NEWCASTLE. Best meal out we have had in months. I asked to meet the head chef who is a relatively recent addidtion apparently and we thanked him personally for a superb evening. Front of house staff excellent - all in all a VERY Turkish experience. Eat your heart out Gordon Ramsay!!

Seems to be room for about 18 covers. This is the first time we have sampled Turkish Meze since visiting Turkey many years ago. We started with the Sucuk Izgara (Grilled Turkish sausage) & Sigara Boregi (Fried pastry cigars filled with feta cheese). Delicious. For main we tried the Chicken Supreme & Iskender (Mixed Kebab). Again, delicious & full of flavour. You can definitely tell that everything is fresh & homemade. For 2 starters, 2 mains 2 beers & 2 glasses of white wine the bill came to just over £40. Exceptional value. This is one restaurant we will definitely be adding to our regular circuit.
