This is a pretty standard pizza takeaway in Durham, but I would personally visit it over the many others on Claypath for a number of reasons.
Firstly, their customer service is excellent. They are always very friendly whenever I am there- whether it's alone or with friends. Once when one of my party's orders took a bit longer they actually gave the group of us a free pizza, even though we didn't even ask about our order. I've gotten complimentary sauces as well and have had nice conversations with multiple staff. When there are so many takeaways in one area, the service being a cut above can really distinguish one restaurant from another.
Their food is pretty standard, they have a good menu. Excellent garlic sauce and kebab meat. Huge portions of the kebabs. They are open very late and often not super busy or loud inside. There are some chairs and counter space if you prefer to eat there.
One issue is that it seems prices on their menu are out of date, as I paid a couple pounds and some change higher than was stated for a medium pizza recently. I understand signage can be expensive to replace, but on a tight budget it's good to know exactly what you'll be paying.
I've had a few of their pizzas and the kebab meat. All has been good and it makes for an excellent late night snack after being out in Durham! read more
