Crowns for my implants are scheduled for this summer. The majority of my teeth were crowns that were 30-40 years old. I met with Dr. Hodges and we assessed how best to approach my failing crowns while at the same time, giving me a dazzling smile that I secretly longed for all of my life. He is a fabulous technician as well as an artist. I had a vision for how I wanted my smile to look and believe me, I got EXACTLY what I hoped for. The process was key to getting the final result I wanted. Dr. Hodges created "provisionals" so that I could have time to adjust to the proposed new teeth I would have at the end. We added some length to my front teeth, added bulk on the side teeth for fuller smile, and brightened the color. Every time I see myself in a mirror, I am surprised and thrilled by my new look. When I inquired about having a pre-auth done by my dental insurance, I was told that I would go directly into surgery after the consult so there was no need for the pre-auth. I said that per what I had been told by my insurance, as contracted provider, they were obligated to send a pre-auth. So now my "consult" is 8 weeks out. Shelved in other words, by the office staff. Who polices oral surgeons? Someone needs to! Seems a bit sketchy to me to come up with a price without even seeing the patient and also to push them into procedure after consult - no insurance consulting needed. This office just wants to take your money!

The treatments were painful and uncomfortable. I had to come back several times for redos. After waiting for proper insurance authorizations and assurances that treatments would be covered, They charged me anyway which leads to me to believe that they overcharged me. And then, over a year after treatment they send me a past due bill! Zero stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family were patients of Milestone for many, many years. I would like to say probably eight years…read moreplus! They have an extremely high turnover with pediatric dentists, dental hygienists and office staff. While we were happy with the adult care we received from Dr. Parks, having a constant changeover in other staff affected our quality of care and overall experience. Additionally I had to stay really on top of keeping track of my family's xray schedule, as what was covered by our insurance because staff would attempt to perform X-rays without verifying coverage with our dental insurance. We decided to finally leave the practice after we cancelled an appointment. I had provided 24 hours noticed and was informed to penalize us, for not giving the required 48 hours notice, we would have to pay a scheduling fee each time we made an appointment, for every family member. I wrote an email to Dr. Parks to explain that my youth had pneumonia and I was treated very badly by staff for canceling appointments with 24 hours notice related to her illness. His staff member Denden intercepted the email and refused to forward it to him. After all the years my family had been with the practice it was extremely disappointing to be treated in such a way.
