For free public dog park, it is not bad at all. I am shocked on how clean it is. The only thing I don't trust is the other dogs not being treated/updated on their shots. I do have to keep a closer eye on my dog more than I do at Wags Park. But I do have to admit, but that my dog likes it here better. It's really big and roomy. I also like that they have a section for dogs under 22 lbs.

Otto Armleder dog park is the best in the city. We drove 1/2 hour to come, and it was definitely worth it! There are two HUGE areas for large dogs and a smaller area for dogs under 22 pounds. We were blown away by how nice and well kept this place was. Don't let the negative reviews due to irresponsible dog owners with unfriendly dogs deter you. This place is awesome.

The dog park on a slow day. Plenty of space for everyone to play!

Anyone who knows me understands that I'd rather spend time with my dog than with most people and, thus, my dog is super spoiled. He also is a barrel of energy so we make frequent trips to the dog park. Otto Armleger is by far his favorite. Every single Saturday morning, the little monster knows where he is going, and he cannot even control himself. So the dog park is HUGE. Enormous. And I really like that because you can always keep your dog away from the dogs that are inevitably causing all the problems. Plenty of space for all the different personalities to have their fun. And while they have one small section for small dogs, they have two different sections for the big dogs, which they rotate to avoid wearing one side out too much. A while back they seemed to have a ton of issues with mud pits but they've filled those in and aside from some bare spots, the park is in great shape. So come use this great park...and leave a donation because we want to keep places like this around!

I love this dog park! It's HUGE and always has other doggies for my pup to play with. They can run around a lot because the park is so large, and it's nice and green and open. This dog park gets very busy on the weekends, which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for...I happen to like a lot of people there because that just means more dogs for my puppy to play with! There's a small dog play area too if your dog is under 20 lbs. My only issue with this dog park is that most owners don't pick up after their dog here so sometimes you can find some bombs in the grass. But still, overall a great leash-free dog park.

    Beautiful!

Wow! I had heard about this place, but the reality is even better than some of the great reviews that are here. IT IS HUGE! Tons of space for the pups to run and more! There are lots of shady spots for pups and their humans. wonderful interactions and for the most part attentive owners*. * Attentive Owners - This is how you get a safe and clean dog park! Most of the negative reviews were due to one or two bad owners not the park itself. If I have a bad experience, due to the park I'll mention it, but I don't hold the park accountable for irresponsible owners. Clean and Open. People were encouraging self clean up and everyone helped alert owners if they accidentally missed their turn at poop scooping! It's a bit out of the way for us to go every day but definitely one of the best Cincinnati Dog Parks!

This is an unassuming, FREE, off leash dog park. I have been bringing a couple of my dogs here for years. One of my dogs wasn't a fan of being that social with other dogs, so we stopped coming with him. He is now at Rainbows Bridge. My other dog, whom I've had for 2+ years, LOVES to run. She doesn't really understand playing with other dogs very well, but she's getting better. I have a second dog currently, who just likes to sniff and "referee" the other dogs playing. LMAO My husband and I will often walk around the perimeter of one of the fenced in areas to get our girls to run and sniff and get away from any dogs causing problems. (2 large areas and a small area on one side of the road. And a square area, not that big, on the other side of the road) I will say that there have been times where the owners of some of the dogs don't seem to pay much attention to them and their behaviors. These owners seem to be more concerned with conversing with other owners or being on their phones. I don't like those people. There are some rules, but some owners pay no attention (females in heat, dogs with aggression issues, etc). This IS a wonderful place to come, just stay on your toes and pay attention to your furry baby and make sure everyone is having fun.

We absolutely love this park. My husband and I take our dog here at least 3x a week. It's a large dog park, so even if there are a good amount of dogs, it never feels crowded. Our dog always come home exhausted (which is a GOOD thing). The dogs are friendly and so are their owners. It's our favorite dog park.

This is the park of canine dreams my friends. We have a small dog park near our home but every attempt to enter ends in butt sniffs and shyness but not at Otto. This place is a palatial outdoor paradise for your furry friends. The larger area seems to be 2-3 acres at a minimum. Even on weekend days when the sun is shining there's more than enough room for the dogs to stretch their legs and explore the grassy alcoves and mud puddles. The lawn is perfectly manicured without holes or dirt patches. My dog Josie loves the ability to sunbathe or sun like a crazy woman or socialize with all of the Cincinnati dog pals! We are obsessed with this place and make every sunny attempt to visit this dog oasis!

They also have water for dogs, benches to sit on, a picnic table to eat at, and a gorgeous huge ancient oak tree that my dog climbed up, impressing another dog owner. There are plenty of poop bags and garbage cans to dispose of your dogs' poop. Some owners didn't pick up their dog's poop but that is the owners' fault. I picked mine's up. My dog had so much fun running around with me, I had brought a toy. Since it was a wet cooler (but warm for the month) weekday midday we were alone for a while then joined by a sweet lady bulldog. When a small beagle came in, it chased my dog around and when another sleek fast dog joined the beagle in chasing my dog, the beejesus was scared out of my dog. I sat on the bench and my 70-lb pitbull jumped in my lap for protection from the dogs.

She never had any issues at all and all the other dogs seemed to love her and want to play with her. We took her in April and she got attacked by all of the other 14 dogs that were there, tried to hide behind a man sitting against the fence to get away from the other dogs. She had to get 4 stitches in her neck from another dog biting her. None of the other owners seemed to have any issue with what happened when all of these dogs came after mine for no reason at all. Tried to take her back in June. It went a little bit better until a woman with 2 dogs showed up and both of them went after my dog. We left before it got bad, but that woman had nothing to say about the way her dogs were acting. Lots of unaltered and aggressive dogs with seemingly irresponsible owners. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here unless you want to deal with a stressful situation every time you take your dog to the park.

You'll want to plan to spend a little extra time filling out forms the first time you visit - but you can always make things easier on yourself (and on the staff) by signing their waivers via their website, and by emailing them your pet's vet records. I appreciate them being so thorough - we love our dogs and want them to be safe, no matter where they are! Their "Pour-It-Yourself" tap wall is sooo creative and fun. I love the way they have this set up - so their "Bark Rangers" can spend less time pouring drinks, and more time hanging out with the pups. You connect your debit/credit card to one of their tap cards, and then just use that throughout your visit. They even have handy drop-boxes for you to use on your way out, so you don't have to bother with the tedious "closing out" process. We've tried several of their rotating brews at this point - but our favorite is actually the Bark-veza, which was specially made for the Bark Park! We also have to shout out the GM, Amanda. During both of our visits, she's been extra attentive to our overly excited puppy, and even offered us some excellent training advice for our older, more anxious/reserved dog as well. We've purchased day passes for our last two visits ($10/dog), but we're seriously considering a monthly membership for both of our pups in the New Year. Thank you, Bark Park, for being such a wonderful place to spend a weeknight evening!

It's truly a big, happy place for dogs! I've never seen so many happy dogs. Literally running, frolicking, rolling around enjoying themselves. Not only were the pets enjoying themselves, the owners were too. It has a real sense of community. People were friendly, they knew each other and each others pets. Very cool! What's really nice is the creative use of land. This was once a landfill. Don't worry, there are no foul odors! There are three areas. Two smaller areas, one with training equipment, a regular sized area and a huge hill. When I say huge, I also mean steep. This is a really steep hill. Luckily you have the option of staying on the flat areas where the two other enclosed areas are. All areas are grassy, offer seating and water. What's also nice is the walking path. The paved path is lengthy enough (6 acres of park space) to where it is great exercise for both owners and pets. The only downside is the hill is so big that you can lose sight of your dog. My dog was enjoying herself so much, she ran off with a pack of playful dogs. She never does this. I definitely got my exercise looking for her. So for exercise, a chance to meet other dog lovers I strongly suggest visiting this park. If you see a large friendly white labradoodle playing around, you've come at a great time. He's very playful!

As with many dog parks, there are the regulars. Most are welcoming. Most people are well versed in dog behaviors and don't freak out when dogs wrestle and play. The Park is large and your dog can run! Not to say that the dogs won't ignore all the space and play around your feet instead! The Park is built on an old ash mound as the County incinerated trash for decades. Because of that, there is little shade available as trees cannot be planted. There is a gazebo structure at top with tables. DO NOT BRING FOOD into Park. All tables and agility equipment are made from recycled materials. Great re-use of space.
