Tom's knowledge of the Austin area market is second to none, and he is passionate about continuing his education in an effort to give the best service to his clients. I want to be very clear: if you are looking for a professional who can explain all of the ins and outs of the process and also one who is a calming presence through the near-constant anxieties of making the largest purchase of your life, then Tom is the team captain that you want. We had SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. and not only did Tom respond to every single one, but he also did it almost immediately. All this while balancing an unbelievably active family life. With Tom's help, we went from offer to close in a little over three weeks. it was almost wizardry. He works with the best people in the industry (we had an excellent experience with the mortgage lender that he recommended) and he is just a delight. Also, as a native Austinite, I truly appreciate how much Tom and his family are a part of the community. He is involved in all of the things that I love in Austin: food, wine, music, film, art, education, and more. If you are new to Austin and need to understand the lay of the land, Tom can be your guide. I truly cannot recommend him highly enough.

Tom incorporated the things that mattered to us in real time; he adjusted our search as we learned the market better without taking anything away from the quality of homes he showed us. He knows the Texas realty process for quick turnaround and connections. We experienced some issues with our lender; Tom was able to help us work through these issues and work with the seller agent for minimal disruption and a smooth close. He and the Realty Austin team were with us every step of the way, guiding us in what needed to happen and helping us keep peace of mind during the entire process. He met us on a Saturday and went over what we should expect during this process. He was very thorough and let us know he was available to answer any questions. We let him know what we were looking for and the areas we were interested in buying a home. He updated us when homes that met our criteria became available and set up appointments for us to view the homes. It seems like standard practice, but he worked with our work schedules which isn't always convenient times. When we found our home, he kept us informed at each step in the process. He even gave us suggestions for mortgage firms, inspectors, and insurance companies. It was nice to have options and everyone he recommended were professional and very friendly. We had some concerns regarding the home, but David addressed them with the seller. He even scheduled appointments to check the house while we were under contract, so that we could measure for appliances and check for any concerns. He was there with us while we signed our closing documents and ensured that we felt comfortable during this final process. He has even checked in with us since we've moved in and answered questions that we've had about owning a home. I can't imagine having a better Realtor and he will be the first person we contact when we decide to sell our home and buy our next one.

For some reason once we got to Austin, Marc ignored ALL of my phone calls and emails. Luckily we were able to find a place within the two days of moving (ended up taking over someone's lease and now we're are living off of Congress Ave- 10 min walk to downtown). If Marc was not interested in helping us due to either the amount we were willing to spend on rent or he actually had something more important going on, he should have at least called or emailed us explaining that he would be unable to help. I found it rude and unprofessional. They also use the website that goes by http://youraustinrealtors.com/

Marc showed us homes from Austin to as far out as Liberty Hill which is at least 50 miles round trip every time and with gas prices the way they are he didn't hesitate one bit. That is certainly going the extra mile for a prospective client. After looking at many homes Marc came through for us. We found that rare diamond in the rough and we mean GEM; 2.7 acre treed lot with a custom built 3900 sq foot one level 3 car garage home constructed in 2004. The driveway was newly poured last year and is actually 450 feet long. Can you say AWESOME! Marc successfully negotiated the price for us; coming in under $412K. You can't find a home like this in Georgetown for under $570K. On top of the great staff like Marc, Fine Austin Living has great connections such as inspectors and loan financing. As a retired military using VA, Marc hooked us up with a mortgage broker that new her stuff about VA loans. She literally was able to lock us in at 3.75% with no closing costs. We've dealt with brokers and mortgage lenders in the past that didn't know much about VA financing but Marc and Fine Austin Living certainly had top notch connections that came through for us at all levels. Marc was always available and very responsive to all of our questions from earnest money to appraisals and surveys. Now every morning we wake up and sit on our huge back deck or front deck and watch deer and wild turkey cross our lot. Talk about serenity that is within minutes of civilization which is all thanks to Fine Austin Living, Marc and all their supporting elements. Marc and Fine Austin Living is my realtor choice in the future but that won't be necessary after they found us our dream home. We highly recommend contacting Marc Pulver and Fine Austin Living for your dream home.

I have to admit, I wanted to go with Ron Jon the Apartment Mon (http://ronjontheapartmentmon.com), but said wife reminded me that we were looking for a house, not an apartment. There's a spectacular lack of House Mons in Austin, unless you count Josh (as I now do). Josh didn't pressure us once, not even after we drug him to 20 or so different houses on weekdays, weekends, holidays, etc. He graciously stuck with us until we found exactly the right house. He actually stuck with us longer than that, since he had to make sure we bought it. Even then, he kept checking on us to make sure we found the contractors we needed to fix a few things here and there. So yeah, I'm more adept at reviewing restaurants. If this guy was a sushi buffet, he wouldn't make you sick. If he was a taco truck, the e coli would barely register at detectable levels. If he was a Golden Corral... actually, I don't think he would be a Golden Corral. If you're looking for the realtor equivalent of a Golden Corral, look elsewhere. For everyone else, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this guy.

We connected through a Homes.com search--ran filters for realtors with the highest volume of buy & sell transactions over the last five years--and he was at the top of our list. We had a few referrals from our network, but Chris was incredibly responsive, and our first call was solid. Long story long, we moved to Austin around that time, and Chris was there from the very start. He's direct in the kindest sense of the word, and he 1000% loves what he does. He figured out what we liked and didn't like, but that honestly didn't matter much because we had no idea where we wanted to live. Throughout the holidays, we went into escrow--then had to pull our offer days before closing due to the inspection. Chris's response? "If you guys want to change directions, we can start looking for new properties tomorrow." This was after he spent two hours inspecting the place himself, pushing the builder to add new gutters, fix the lawn's grading, and leading the blue tape charge on 3,500 square feet. Later, he talked us through properties that looked great in person but wouldn't appraise on paper, and ultimately, he helped us land the perfect place. Frankly, the guy knows every aspect of a real estate transaction inside and out. I don't know if he's so well off that time doesn't matter, but he had to lose money on us. He over-invests, and odds are, you'll make a good friend in the process--like we did. There are a bunch of other stories that highlight Chris's dedication, the depth of his network, and how ridiculously motivated he is. He's an awesome negotiator, incredibly patient, and an even better person.

I was so lucky to have connected with Ben, and I recommend trusting only him with your home sale…read more I was given Ben's name from someone who successfully bought a home with Ben's representation. I am in a different state from the home I was selling in Round Rock, so it was imperative that I found someone who could help long distance. Ben communicated everything to me to make sure I knew what was going on at all times. He was key in helping me figure out repairs that needed to be made pre-sale, helped coordinate those repairs, and even offered to do a couple things. He also recommended a price to sell the home at. It was perfect because I got 6 offers within hours of putting the home on the market, and it sold for substantially over asking price. Even in a seller's market, proper pricing is an art and skill, and the only way that multiple offers over asking price happened was because Ben knew how to price it and market it. He made the entire escrow process smooth and it closed as expected. There was no stress to me, and it was a great transaction. He was always available when I needed to talk with him. I know he had other clients, but he really made me feel like my sale was as important to him as it was to me. He valued me and my transaction. You really don't need to talk with anyone else if you contact Ben. He'll be the only realtor you'll need.
