Garlic bread- $8
Maya B.

Went out as a family gathering, there were 11 of us. Service was decent while we were waiting for the rest of our family to join us but was hard to get service after we had ordered our meals. My cousin asked for a little thing of ketchup for my uncle and it took 20 minutes to arrive. It arrived after they had taken away the plate it was needed for. Service was a 4/10 but it was a busy night. Food was overpriced and ok at best. I ordered the classic pasta with linguine and Alfredo sauce which for $20. Pasta was chewy, but the sauce was ok. I expected to get a little more for that price other than just pasta and sauce but I suppose it was ok. My sister, who is celiac, who we told staff was celiac, had a poutine and was sick about an hour later. She hadn't eaten early and there was no way this 'glutening' had come from anywhere else. The menu promoted itself as a gluten-free safe spot and assured us that her meal would be prepared with upmost safety in mind. She had ordered from the gluten free section of the menu, and still fell sick as a result of it. My cousin and I ordered a $8 garlic bread that resembled a pizza and it was okay. Overall, bad experience and would not recommended coming here, especially to any fellow celiacs! Also, my dad got food poisoning from this sort of salmon tartar. He was throwing up the whole night. Do not recommend.

Last Sunday, I was spoiled and was brought to the Restaurant Ottavio in St Laurent for dinner. It was delicious. We went on a Sunday night so it was pretty quiet when we first arrived. Later on during the night, it seemed to get quite full... of children with their parents. (We found out later on that children eat for free on Sunday nights). For starters we got the Garlic Bread Gratiné and my date was right- it IS the best cheesy garlic bread I've ever had. For the main meal, he had Linguine duck cont ...(cream, teriyaki, duck, prosciutto, shallots, sesame seeds) and I had Angel hair four tomatoes ... (tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, bruschetta, bocconcini). Oh my gosh, was it good. IMG_4217 IMG_4218 We both had leftovers because the portion you get is definitely worth the money. The atmosphere was very comfortable and we were comfortable being a bit dressed up (it was our first official date- very, very nice). You can make reservations online and they have three locations: Laval, St Laurent and St Léonard. It IS bring your own wine & beer so keep that in mind! I will definitely be going back- I will probably want to try every single thing on the menu.

All you can eat mussel special (from Monday to Wednesday)
Mai Lynn L.

Went there at lunch time and had their 13$ make-your-own pasta special. In all honesty, the pasta was just average but then for 13$ you wouldn't expect much, really. The real deal was definitely their all-you-can-eat mussels promo that is currently going on from Monday to Wednesday. I had their "le diable" mussels, which is supposed to be on the spicier side but then, meh, I could use some more spice. If you were to name your mussels style "le diable" I would at least expect it to be just a tad bit spicy. I still kind of liked the tomato taste to it, so it wasn't that big of a deal. All in all, I would say that it's pretty affordable during lunch but I would probably only come back for their mussels. As for the service, it was a bit slow and the waiter barely bothered to come to check up on us and we had to ask several times to get our glasses of water refilled.

Food and service at this branch are within my range of satisfaction. I would say the overall dining experience with my parents and husband was nothing "Wow" but we left a good tip for the service. We wanted the mussel for our starters but they were out of mussel that evening. We will be back one day.

Californian gluten free pizza. I was so excited I forgot to take picture before I started eating.

Always go at lunch time for the special. Pasta is really good. Went to supper one time but was way too expensive and also not the greatest.

Montreal now has world class pizza! After many years of coming here and being forced to eat…read morepoutine, smoked meat, great steaks, and Canadian interpretations on various cuisines ... I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.

Grabbed an oat milk latte, one pistachio and one Nutella filled donuts. C$16.10 / $11.50 The Nutella and pistachio cream transferred to the top of the to go box. The pistachio cream is light and sweet, it's not bad. Can't say I have ever had pistachio butter much, but seemed sweeter than I had expected. The Nutella is decadent and yummy, as expected. The dough was super light, airy, yet a bit chewy. The dough was good, carb worthy for sure. Not dense or heavy at all. I actually ate all of the dough, that's a good sign of a donut. Don't bother cutting the donut, ends up being a total mess. Just bite into it and eat it up.

Great little spot for delicious square pizzas, pastries and coffee. Went here on Saturday April…read more27th around 11ish - the place was packed with a line forming almost out the door. Luckily this moved fast. The menu options are simple, there are a few types of pizzas that you can get by the slice (square) or whole. There a couple donut options, cannolis, chocolate chip cookies and croissants - along with coffee of course. Prior to coming, I saw pictures and reviews of sandwiches at this location - but there were none when I went. Perhaps there is a varying menu or special items that vary during the year? We tried 3 types of pizzas, the sausage and rapini, caprese and "Caciocavallo" which is a potato and cheese pizza with no tomato sauce. They were all excellent, with lots of toppings and satisfying bite feel. The crust is kind of like a foccacia bread, it is chewy and delicious. There is very limited bar seating inside the restaurant, otherwise during spring/summer time there is an outdoor terrace with a few tables. Still a pretty tight spot, best to grab and go if you can as the place seems very popular.
