    Tortellini pasta with rosee sauce, mushrooms and meatballs

    Came here for lunch during the week and it wasn't too busy. We ordered the tortellini pasta with rosee sauce mixed with mushrooms and meatballs. Portion was big enough to split with 2 people. Also got the Sicilian pizza and it was full of flavor and delicious. To top it off, we got the beignets topped with cinnamon & sugar with a bowl of pastry cream and it was okay, nothing really special. I would definitely go back for the pizza and pasta.

    Came in to Ottavio to try the all you can eat mussels last week and was super stocked to see what was going on over here. When we came in we were happy to see that there wasn't a big line up or anything, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who reminded us of the special going on. When we sat down we were surprised by how many option there actually where to chose from in terms of broth/preparation for the mussels. We were also informed that each special comes with an order of fries or salad to chose from as well. I decided to try the Dijon flavour and my friend went with the Guinness. Both our side of fries and salad came in first but I knew I wanted to save my fries for dipping. Once we got our actual orders they were delicious and perfectly coated, at this point we were also told that upon our next order if we did want try a different flavour there would be a fee of 2$ to do so, this was kind of disappointing as there were many options to choose from but my flavour was so good that I was okay sticking to it for a second time. Our second order of mussels unfortunately weren't as good as the first as the had way less liquid broth and the broth we did get was much watered down. We did let our waitress know of the issue and she told us this was due to this order properly have wetter mussels then the previous. Would like to go back and try some more flavour but this place is defo worth checking out !

    We've come here for family bday parties because it offers gluten free options, has lots of space, byob and decent prices. We enjoyed the calamari, escargot, greek salad and main dishes we like were the angel air smoked almonds, duck with brie, and the pork belly tagliatelle pasta.

    One of those restaurants in Montreal where it's classy enough to take your date, and also casual enough for a good value meal while hanging out with friends and coworkers. Very classy decors, yet warm and comfortable. Spacious space with open kitchen and the soft glow of the warm lights on orange cushioned walls and white tabletops. We did the pick your own pasta option, you get a piece of paper and do a la carte selection for choice of sauce, meats, and veggies. Something fun to do while waiting for foodz - the tabletop is comprised of white paper and with the pencils, you can go wild with imagination. I certainly had a grand time doodling away on the paper. The time past by fast and the food came in a generous portion plate. The angel hair pasta is fine and al dente, with the arrabbiata sauce, slightly spicy and savory, was perfect. The shrimp was cooked to tenderness and did not retain any of its 'fishy' taste. Overall, it was wonderful. Though the food is not extraordinary - still delicious, the value, atmosphere and the option to customize the pasta dish was excellent.

    BYOB restaurant serving up savoury and well priced dishes. Great for groups. We will definitely return.

They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right.     New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.

We went in a group of 9 people with reservation. Free parking and it was completely packed. Certainly a good sign of a nice restaurant. We arrived 10 min early but the table was delayed by the last round of patrons. The waitress was so smart to offer each of us complimentary champagne because of this. Pretty darn nice. We ordered pizzas, Panozzo (big size pizza pocket stuffed with ham, eggplants, and mozzarella), calamari, cheese, a few fettuccine, and a couple of Martini. Among those items, pizzas stood out pretty well. Not only the taste and size but also the toppings as well as the firewood aroma. Beautifully done. Highly recommended. Cool ambiance for dining with great music. Great vibe. The servers were nice and friendly. On top of typical Montreal-style small restaurant tables, this place also offers long tables to accommodate bigger groups. It certainly brings you a very enjoyable dining experience with your buddies for sure. It's such a good dining place. We had a wonderful time catch-up with friends in Laval. No wonder the parking lot was jam-packed! Haha.

Server didn't ask if I had enjoyed the pizza despite that I left the crust totally intact behind. My husband decided to tip waiter generously and I didn't want to make a fuss. I didn't want to get upset after dinner.
